Utah Driving School offers a quick, affordable, State-approved, driving course to anyone 15 years of age and older. A valid Utah Learner Permit is required to perform the behind-the-wheel portion of the “road & range” hours.
We also offer Road Testing to anyone seeking to complete their driving exam. We are a State-approved Third Party Tester.
We currently offer a home study packet as your student’s classroom course. Feel free to inquire. Utah Driving School also offers the required driving/observing hours (Road & Range). Please contact us in order to sign up for Road & Range, a Road Test, or if you have any additional questions. (801) 709-7611.

Fantastic experience: I went today to do my second try in the road test. I did my first one with another school but failed. So you can’t imagine how nervous I was. Driving with Shahbaz was the best! I went today for my road test and passed on my very first try. I am grateful for finding this schooI. I highly recommend going nowhere but Utah Driving School!

Fantastic experience: Shabaz was very helpful and friendly and returned all my calls quickly. I had two children enrolled and their instructor was Junaid. Fantastic experience: Very accommodating and informative. Helped my son through step-by-step! My son took the streamlined courses and was able to get his license in 1 week (don't worry, he completed the 40 hours of practice driving previously). They 100% told him everything he needed to do to meet his deadline. They followed up quickly with any questions. There were no hidden costs and he definitely got his money's worth!

Negative experience: Manager sucks scheduled apt then just because I was looking around for other options for a sooner apt he want to cancel. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone very disrespectful and doesn't know how to talk to customers

Fantastic experience: The instructor was amazing! I have anxiety and was really nervous about meeting them and making mistakes but I felt so comfortable within the first 15 minutes. My instructor was so understanding and gave me amazing tips which I have gone home and told my parents all about. After just a few days I already have improved so much! Their teaching style is great and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for lessons.

Fantastic experience: I took drivers ed here, and I can’t even say how awesome it was!! Fantastic experience: My wife needed to have her international license switched to the Utah license and had to take a driving test in order to do so. We are so glad we got hold of Utah driving school. Shahbaz was very patient and kind during my wife's driving test, she didn't pass the first time, but Shahbaz took the time to go over what needed to be worked on for the next time and he answered all the questions we had right before her second attempt, my wife was able to pass the test on her second try with high scores. Shahbaz also sent her test information to the DMV within the same day so we could apply for her temporary license the very next day. Five stars for Utah Driving School.

Fantastic experience: I needed to get my license really soon and i had no confidence behind the wheel. The driving behind the wheel course is fantastic, the driving instructor did a phenomenal job at keeping the balance between me controlling the vehicle by myself and him telling me what I need to improve on. 10/10!

Fantastic experience: If you are looking for a for a driving school, look no more. One of the things I love about Utah Driving school is they work and help you schedule your child’s driving times around your schedule, if there is availability. That being said we were able to get the perfect schedule. Our Instructor Jurnaid was very communicative, accommodating and great to work with. They have a great program and are available when, or if you have any questions Text response time was fantastic. They let you know ahead of time what the driving plan is and what you can work on. With my older children we did not get any feedback from the driving instructors from the high school. I found this very encouraging and helpful. Thank you Shabaz & Jurnaid for your time and work with our son Andrew!

Fantastic experience: As part of the intake, Shahbaz asked if our son was anxious or nervous or anything (he was pretty apprehensive). He assured us that he'd be kind and patient with him, and he most certainly was. He also prepared him perfectly for the driving exam. 10 out of 10 stars!

Fantastic experience: We had such a great experience working with Utah Driving school. They were affordable and so accommodating to our schedule. My daughter enjoyed her instructor Junaid. He was positive and patient and he taught her a foolproof method for parallel parking that she then taught me. I liked this experience much better than the Driver’s Ed through the high school that my older kids did. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: He was great with my husband. We did 2 - 90 minute classes during the last two weeks and this morning my husband was able to pass his drivers test. We are grateful for the detailed instruction and the specific pointers that he gave me to practice during the week.

Fantastic experience: I have almost finished driving here and it’s amazing! All of my siblings have driven here and they all say that they have learned a lot. He is so patient and always happy even after a long work day! Overall he has made me a way better driver so I definitely recommend taking your kids here.

Fantastic experience: I’m 28 years old and I hadn’t driven a car in 10 years. I was extremely nervous to be on the road again, basically starting from the beginning in terms of skill and knowledge. Shahbaz was so accomodating and patient, and really made an effort to help with whatever I felt I needed to improve. He offered great advice and gave helpful tips that really made a difference in my driving. I felt comfortable during every lesson, despite being an anxious driver. I highly recommend UDS if you’re looking to get some experience on the road.
