Eddy is a great person to to be running this school, Roy and Clint are the best instructors you could possibly have teaching you how to handle rigs. Fantastic experience: I attended the school, teachers are great, and a good environment to actually learn about driving trucks.

Positive experience: 16 day course is fast paced after the first week of onboarding and distance learning. Week two and three daily skills backing, offset, and parallel as well as 1 hour of city and highway driving. Instruction is clear and to the point. Just memorize the inspection narration and follow the instructors advise and you will pass all the driving exams first time go!

They will hammer the proper information in your head daily. They genuinely want to see all their students succeed. Negative experience: Automatic transmission only, so you leave with a restricted CDL and have to find someone to teach you on a Standard and then retest anyways. Instructor was “out of town” so had to pay for DMV test even though it was suppose to be included in the 6 grand paid. Most instructors are condescending and rude, but Eddy was helpful and the only reason for the second star. Spend your thousands of dollars somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: Awesome instructors. Great place to get your license. Tips about instructors. Roy really heats LSU so talking bad about LSU gets you brownie points with him. Clint really wants you press the brakes firmly and make sure you steer as much as you need, definitely when backing straight up. Eddy doesn't know anything about horses. Glenn hates ice cream. Don't bring any around him. And Dan.... well be nice to Dan. He gives you the Road Test at the end. Suck up to him.

Fantastic experience: Upon me choosing to get my CDLs i wasn't sure of what to expect. When i arrived to the training school site. I was made to feel right at home. When i tell you the ENTIRE staff is amazing, thats exactly what i mean. They are attentive to the way you learn things. Mr. Eddy is most kindest man i have ever met. Although he's not always inbthe classroom because of other task he may have to do, he takes the time to come in the class to check on us and to make sure that everything is going well for us and us as individuals.
