I've practiced driving a little bit before, but it was through her teaching that I realized the importance of strictly following driving rules. In addition to teaching the driving details thoroughly, she often provided constructive feedback, helping me improve my skills step by step, like adjusting the key points during the k-turn or parallel parking by estimating dimensions of different cars.

Fantastic experience: I really enjoyed my driving lessons with Denise Chan! Even though I started with no experience and was very nervous to drive, Denise was super patient and explained everything I needed to know. She taught me how to parallel park, change lanes, K-turn, and many other relevant driving skills. Fantastic experience: Best Coach Denise Chan I recently completed four days of driving lessons with Coach Denise Chan. I practiced for a total of four days (7 hours) and 1 hour of pre-test mock. Denise was very attentive and taught me how to drive step by step. She firstly told me about the buttons and functions of the entire car, then transitioned to knowledge on the road, and finally the mock test before the exam told me all the possibilities, so I didn’t panic at all during the exam! If you're looking to learn how to drive, I highly recommend Coach Denise. There's no small talk or distractions during lessons; she's fully engaged and provides constructive feedback after each session. She emphasizes visualizing and memorizing techniques, which has been incredibly helpful. Most importantly, she shares exam tips and tricks that are truly beneficial in acing the driving test! I can't thank Denise enough for her professionalism, patience, and the effective teaching methods that have equipped me with the skills and confidence needed to drive safely. Never once did I feel like I was unsafe on the road because she knew and taught every possible scenario that I could encounter on the road. She was very understanding and specific about all the subjects regarding parking, so I knew exactly what to do and all the steps. Parallel parking was a piece of cake thanks to her! Fantastic experience: A week ago I passed my 2nd driving test with Denise. This is the 2nd exam as the first one was 20 years plus and, upon my return to NJ, i had to retake the exam. You can imagine this is not my first driving lessons and it turns out to be the best experience. Bad habits were corrected, skills are honed, many reminders how to Aces in the exam were shared. Her professionalism is world class. Her patience and flexibility are undeniable as I had only a small time frame to touch up and pass the exam. She also went beyond in helping the registration. Denise also helped submit all the paper work to the DMV to get my daughter driving. She made the whole process much easier. Fantastic experience: I had driving instructor Denise and it was a very good experience. She taught me all of skills and confidence necessary in order to help me pass the road test. I started with little to no driving experience and I was very anxious, but now I am prepared to drive on my own after passing the road test. Even at the beginning, she was extremely patient with me. She gave me important tips and tricks for parallel parking, K-turning, and for driving on roads. I loved that she had an album on her phone with photos to show me different perspectives and things to watch out for on the road. Before the road test, I felt well prepared because I had already been taught everything I needed to know and I was not too scared. She gave me a mock test a few days prior which was extremely helpful because I knew everything to expect and nothing was out of the ordinary.

Fantastic experience: Last summer, my daughter's previous teacher at another driving school only chatted with her for all 6 hours and did not take the driving lessons seriously. It was a complete waste of money. My daughter was not confident about passing the test. So, last month, I found Denise Chan, who has an excellent reputation, to teach my daughter everything again. Denise is a friendly, hard-working, and experienced teacher. She not only teaches incessantly every minute but also asks students to take notes to check whether they understand the critical points of each lesson. She explains every detail clearly and patiently and encourages students. She really knows how to teach teenagers. My daughter speaks Mandarin Chinese and English with Denise during the lessons. After a few lessons, my daughter passed the exam very proficiently. I heard that my daughter met an officer who was very difficult to pass, but with Denise's careful and patient teaching, she passed each test step very quickly. Fantastic experience: Ms. Denise Chan was very helpful as I started driving as a complete beginner. She gave a lot of tips and tricks to carefully drive on the roads. During the six hour program I learned how to approach intersections, stop signs, traffic lights, parallel parking and K turns. On top of that, I learned to driver on roundabouts with yield signs. The lessons helped me start driving and be ready to approach any situation on the road!

Fantastic experience: I had Ms. Denise Chan as my driving instructor. She is AMAZING! She puts her all into teaching and you can tell she really cares about her students. She is very kind and approachable, and will make sure that you're over-prepared (both skill-wise and in confidence) for the road test. She offers a lot of driving tips and tricks that definitely helped me on the road test (and apply for general driving as well), and coaches students through all types of scenarios on the road and how to adapt to them. I had completed another driving school's 6 hour program last year that didn't leave me very confident as a driver so Denise had to correct a lot of my mistakes, but she was dedicated to making sure I got it right. She goes above and beyond for her students, and she is the best one out there!

Fantastic experience: Denise Chan is the best driving instructor you can ever have! She is patient, kind, knowledgeable, and very dedicated to teaching. Two of my kids had her recently for driving lessons. My younger daughter took the 6 hour driving program and my elder daughter took two 2 hour lessons (will explain why later), mock exam, and road test. They both passed in one go. Needless to say, we are very happy with the results and are very appreciative of Denise for her hard work. I can’t say the same for the experience we had with another driving school about a year ago where my elder daughter did the 6 hour driving program and was not taught properly, for example, how to rotate the wheel when turning, or how to properly parallel park, to say the least. So Denise had some re-teaching to do. Hence, the additional two 2 hour lessons. There was also no communication whatsoever from the previous driving instructor that the road test appointment was made for my daughter and we were not informed of it. So, we missed it. This was not the case with Denise. She communicated with us that we can make the road test appointment online by ourselves while coordinating the date and time with her so there wouldn’t be any conflict down the road.

Fantastic experience: Ms. Denise is a wonderful instructor. I just recently passed my driver's exam. I felt completely prepared while taking it because Ms. Denise does such an excellent job of explaining not only what will be tested, but how it will be asked of you. She runs through many scenarios/orders of test components and has excellent tips for each. It made me very confident for my exam day. Her tips are both easy to remember and realistic, so you remember them for your entire driving experience, not just for this test. I would recommend that students take a "mock-exam" session with Ms. Denise before the day of their road tests. At my session, Ms. Denise had me practice around the driving test area before practicing parallel parking, K-turns, and back-ups (reverse). I also took the road test day practice session. I had time to practice everything multiple times. Thank you so much Ms. Denise! You're the best!

Fantastic experience: Denise is a great teacher! She knows how to teach and is also a wonderful example for students. Because of her teaching, I'm not nervous of the road test. The Mock exam and the practice lesson before the test really help a lot. Strongly recommend! I enjoyed her classes and learned a lot. Pass the road test in the first time!

Fantastic experience: I got pass in one attempt although I have phobia in driving a car! Denise gave me the confidence to trust myself. She is patient, friendly, cheerful, encouraging and explains well on road conditions and the exam process. She care about every detail and don't hesitate to repeat herself until you demonstrate those skills she taught you. Other than teaching you skills, she shows affection and care to her students.
