Fantastic experience: Oddly enough, I was referred to Queens Driving School by my friend who went to a different driving school. When my friend took his CDL road test; he had the opportunity to observe another student taking his CDL road test as well; and that student went to Queens Driving School. My friend was so impressed with the personality of instructor and the cleanliness and newness of the truck from Queens Driving School, he recommended them to me instead of where he went to obtain his CDL. Queens Driving School did not disappoint. The instructor there is Alex and he is very knowledgeable and experienced. Alex has been in the game ten years and is down to earth and cool. Alex makes learning fun while in class and really interacts with you as he drives the important information home. The office staff is comprised of Ashley, Paula and Sarah; all of whom are very sweet and professional. Those lovely ladies are also very knowledgeable about the CDL journey, which is very nice in this male dominated industry. The vibe and energy at Queens Driving School is great and as their student, you feel very much supported in your journey to obtain your CDL. Not to mention Queens Driving School is reasonably priced and runs discounted specials. Look no further, Queens Driving School is where it is at!

Negative experience: A lot of these "GOOD" reviews are FAKE. Please do your research and ask around in the industry about this school before you commit to learning here. Unfortunately I didn't do my due diligence and after my terrible experience many people in the industry have had similar disastrous story's about "driving school" or whatever they pretend to be. You have to fight to learn, there is no real clear and precise structure like other training schools. The truck broke down a few times during my lessons because it's old and rusty. The lesson plan is all over the place so if you get it quick good if not just keep paying for lessons and wing it until it clicks. You have to remind them on what you need to learn or what your lacking or else it's up in the air. Jose is a somewhat decent instructor when he doesn't fall asleep while your driving or practicing your parking and Alex is a person who has a license a dont know how to TEACH period so avoid him. There is a lady name Maria who is supposed to be the manager but comes off as incompetent, irrational, emotionally disturbed and because she can't articulate herself well in a business atmosphere always over talks with negative energy using profanity. After taking lessons here and fighting to learn I got my CDL license because I watched YouTube lessons and spoke to other school instructors here in the city who gave me tips on things I was never taught. When I went to my road test my instructor Alex just sat in the truck and barley spoke to me or encouraged me. The other school instructors who had their students spoke to me and reassured me as if I took lessons with them! CDL drivers stick together but at this place that's not the case. THERE ARE SO MANY BETTER PLACES TO LEARN TO DRIVE, take your time and go elsewhere!! And they would rather respond to bad reviews with sarcasm instead of evaluating themselves to better service the community. Just go back and read all the other bad reviews they try or bury with fake positive reviews. Go to Ferrari, sharkys, edna, sky auto, elegantor sunny truck driving schools

Fantastic experience: Nico(driving instructor) is very experienced, patient and knows exactly what you need to prepare for to take the exam! The office is very welcoming and Sara and Gloria are super helpful and prompt with class scheduling/rescheduling. Overall I had a great experience and thank you to queens driving school for helping me pass my test!

Negative experience: I have upgraded to different licenses and went to a few driving schools but this is THE WORST in many ways !!! The instructor Jose shows up late to your sessions and end your driving session 40 min early. If your late they take your time and if they are late they still take your time away from you. It's a tiny mouse hole of an office with 3 people who are family (Maria the disrespectful unprofessional mentally ill boss who is Alex mom and his polite girlfriend who works there) but yet they act like they don't know what's going on when they mess up your training time. Jose best for money and tried to offer me private lessons on his time and said don't tell the office. That would be perfect except he's always late or complaining that we need to leave early to get back and I lose driving practice time. ALEX is another instructor who is WORST than Jose. This guy over talks you, teaches you something totally different from Jose which will confuse you and shows up late to road test. Don't waste your time you've been warned!

Negative experience: Worst place to take classes, went there for my classes first thing the instructor was on he’s phone the whole class ,I take the exam I don’t pass because the “instructor “ skip some important points,so make feel insecure the second time I fail again same situation ,he skip important points and guess what by the end of this history was my fault and ended him saying you should quit that’s no for you!! NEVER AGAIN!!

Fantastic experience: Passed my driving test with only (7)45min sessions. I’m a totally new driver first time behind the wheel. People are incredibly helpful and nice. I had an amazing instructor. Highly recommend. Edit: Sara and Nicko(driving instructor) are amazing!!!

Gloria was awesome at being able to accommodate me with my hectic schedule and Alex was truly amazing at teaching me the ins and outs not to mention how extremely patient he was with me. I will always recommend this school to anyone looking to get their license. If I was able to pass with this school (I was horrible lol) you definitely will be able to as well. Since first walking in, the receptionist Sara answered any questions I had and even tailored what she thought would be best for me. My first instructor, Humberto, was so patient and pointed out what needed to be practiced. Raised my confidence in driving, and we continued to work on my weaknesses Niko, my second instructor, prepared me for what was needed for the road test. He solidified my driving, and he's the reason why I passed on the first try. Thank you all!

Ojala se pudiera calificar con menos de una estrella, el servicio al cliente fatal, hoy martes 23 de enero de 2024 la señora viejita canosa de la recepción, de lo peor arrogante y maleducata atiente a las personas como si fuera la dueña del negocio y atiende a las personas como si le estuvieran pidiendo regalado el curso de conduccion. ademas me comunique por telefono y me enviaron unos precios, luego fui al lugar y eran mucho mas elevados los precios.

Fantastic experience: The staff was very supportive and assisted you with any problems that you faced. The instructor NICO was very patient and explained what the State Inspectors would be looking for. After executing one of the required skills was not done correctly he would have you repeatedly doing the skill until you felt comfortably doing it, not too many instructors would do so and that is an exceptionally great opportunity

Office staff was very patient with me and my work schedule In giving me my dates and times very flexible.....My instructor JOSE was amazing he kept going over and over the material I needed to learn. He was honest letting me know where I had little trouble in and how to fixed it didn't stop until I got it down packed. Positive experience: The admin people was not so friendly. Make sure to check your documents yourself because they don't really check for you. I lost $150 car rental because my permit says I need glasses but I did lasik and don't need glasses anymore, and DMV won't let me take the test, but the rental money is gone. However, my instructor Nicko (hope I got the name right) was great, he's nice and help to calm me down to prepare for the road test.

Fantastic experience: I choose this school because it was very close to where I live in LIC. I had the greatest instructor ever his name was Nicko. He was super knowledgeable when it came to driving! He taught me everything I needed to know in order to pass the road test. I didn’t pass on the first try but that was my own fault. However on my second try I passed with flying colors and no errors thanks to Nicko coaching me before my exam. I highly recommend this place. They are also one of the Cheapest schools in NYC, but just because I use the word cheap it doesn’t mean that it isn’t quality. This is probably one of the best quality schools in NYC, a hidden gem if you wish.

Fantastic experience: I failed my sanitation road test…. So someone recommended this school, a better chance I’d pass in the bronx, so I came to these people, told them wat I was trying to do, I needed 2 lessons with the truck and another road test, it ran me about 720 for everything, they are very patient, very nice, answered all my questions, the guy that helped me get familiar with the truck is young an knowledgeable, I highly recommend going with these people, they definitely played a role with getting me my CDL license, trust me it’s worth it.

The trainers Show you how to operate a commercial vehicle safely. Fantastic experience: I started out as a nervous driver and it took me a long time to work up the courage to get my license. Alex and Nico are AMAZING instructors, super professional and easy going! I passed the road test on my first try, all thanks to their instruction and patience. Shout out to Sara, one of the administrators - she's a doll and was super accommodating on a tight schedule. I would recommend this school to anyone, guarantee you won't be disappointed.

A few names in particular was Ashley who fought so hard for me during the whole process. Did so much for me by getting road test appointments left and right, and she was such a joy and so reassuring whenever on the phone. Another notable person was Alex who was always helpful with getting me to the road test as well as giving great pointers while driving a truck! I would highly recommend this school to anyone!

I appreciate the time they took to communicate with me to answer my concerns and accommodate my lessons as well with my road test appointment.The instructors have a gift to teach with so much patience and passion. They’re so good that I passed my road test on the first. I highly recommend due to that fact their prices are cheaper than other driving schools and don’t keep you on a waiting list like Ferrari that never call you back to assist for a simple 5 hr course.
