Driving School of North Texas is the best, most innovative driving school for teens and adults in North Texas. Our goal is to train our students to be safe, confident drivers. With locations in Allen, Frisco and McKinney, we strive to improve the safety of our roads and our communities. We offer Drivers Education classes, Driving Lessons for teens and adults and DPS Authorized Road Tests.

Fantastic experience: The class was very well taught and all instructors were very patient and I feel like every drive lesson I learn something new.
Positive experience: Taught me what I needed to know, though I found it slightly difficult to retain information throughout the course of the class. Other than that, the experience was very helpful and was definitely good for helping me get my permit. I will definitely use this program for my license and I highly recommend it for others.

Fantastic experience: This is an excellent driving school. Both of my teens learned to drive here, and the instructors were incredibly patient. They focus on teaching the essential dos and don’ts of driving. I hope my teens retain everything they’ve learned and stay safe on the road. I highly recommend giving this place a try—you won’t be disappointed!

Fantastic experience: My child has some learning delays and is progressing through high school as planned. Being a Senior this year, we used the driving school from a reference per the teacher at school as the self taught option was not a good choice for us. The school was terrific. He did well in the classroom portion and was able to pass the driving portions without remediation. The school did a great job. I felt very comfortable with their instruction.

Fantastic experience: Very easy to enroll. They helped us out quite a bit and answered all questions. It was very easy to sign up for drive times. Everyone was extremely professional. Fantastic experience: This school was great and established everything I needed to know for the test! All of the teachers were very patient and amazing! There is a lady instructor there that is maybe not fit for this job, for she is not very kind while driving and gets frustrated easily. Other than that it was great! Ready to pass my test!

Fantastic experience: This class was very good. When I first heard that it was three weeks of classes, it didn’t sound fun. But going through the classes and learning all of the stuff I need to know was more interesting than I thought. Mrs. Peaks was a great teacher and I learned a lot.

Fantastic experience: Dan is literally a saint, a lot of the drivers tend to be a bit intrusive not letting you really get a hang of the vehicle or can be snappy if you don’t follow directions perfectly, he was actually amazing though. While not all instructors can be good he really was

Positive experience: Most instructors were helpful in preparing for the test, except for a couple. One of them yells often and has little patience, not allowing the student to learn for himself. He often made aggressive movements on the steering wheel and comments of frustration. Made my partner nearly cry.

Fantastic experience: Nice driving school. Instructors are very friendly and won’t judge you at all. I felt comfortable driving with a random stranger and I wasn’t afraid at all. Learning lessons are fun and entertaining.

Fantastic experience: I enjoyed both the classroom and driving time experience. Teachers made me feel confident in driving and gave excellent instruction while driving. I feel fully prepared for my driving test (except a little parallel parking practice )

Fantastic experience: Every instructor that I was with did an amazing job. When I first started driving I was scared, but after each lesson I was no longer scared of driving. I would like to thank everyone who works at drivers ed for doing their job and giving us safety tips when driving.
