Fantastic experience: They are A1! I needed my license as it was a requirement for a job I was getting. So time was very important. I called them the woman was very helpful. They charged me $95 for an appointment within the week. Several driving schools offer this service at $300 or more. I got my appointment within 5 days. I had to go to the Bronx, on a Sunday. The whole time I was skeptical because it could have been a scam. But I checked the appoint on the DMV site and it was confirmed. They are excellent, everything was quick and they do what is advertised. So I had to come here and give then their props.

Also, for my instructor Anat, thank you for the lessons you taught me and being patient with me. If you’re in a rush to get a road test and need a car for it. I recommend to get their rush road test. They literally made an appointment for me within a week after signing up. They made it happen. I definitely recommend this driving school!

Fantastic experience: I failed two times te road test. Firts time I was completely unprepared, no class before test. Second I hired Deshi service, but I flew the day of the test and my flight got delayed, I lost the class before test. Third time I did the class and it made the whole difference in my performance at the test. I recommended Deshi class and rental car.

Fantastic experience: I hadn't driven in four years, had just a few days to pass my exam and the team at Deshi not only were able to accommodate their schedule to book five (45 min clases in three days) but also provide tips on rescheduling my exam to another location. (Bronx on a Sunday, which was even better schedule wise) Affordable prices ($360 for five classes and the car rental).

Fantastic experience: I tried other driving schools--Revolution and US One Driving school. Deshi is a better deal and a better service. The rates are better and they don't try to upsell you. If you need more lessons they'll say say; but if not they won't push for it (this was not my experience with Revolution). The teaching is better. I learned methods for parallel parking with Revolution and US One as well, but the only method that had me parking consistently was the one from Deshi. And the service is friendly, professional and efficient. I needed to book a road test car rental last minute and they managed a rental and an extra lesson the day before. I wish I had started out with Deshi--an ideal option if you're learning to drive in Queens.

Fantastic experience: I got the package deal for 10 lessons and passed the driving test easily. Mamun is a good instructor who will prepare you for the road test. The office is very organized and communicates well. All of my lessons were scheduled in advance, and they made the 5hr course and booking the road test seamless. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Best school, the most efficient with the best prices! I found them them after taking a class in Ferrari driving school which was forcing me to buy a "package" and charging a lot for the package (the soonest road test Ferrari school could find was three weeks away and they still wanted to charge $130 for the expedited fee) I called Deshi Driving school to take the road test only and asked for an expedited date, they found one for me that same week I called, 2 days after, and I didn't have to get any package, I could just take what I needed. On our way to the exam the instructor gave us a review for what to remember during the test and I passed on the first try!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

And i would like to send a special Thanks to my instructor, Mr. Mamun! He is such a great instructor, Mr. Mamun is very kind and patience instructor that i have ever had before ( i went to the other school before and i have to say that i dont like them badly) Mr. Mamun taught me very detailed and showed me and corrected whatever i wasn’t good at which no another instructor did for me before. I believe that he does so with every single student. I was a little nervous on the test because of myself but my driving skills are so much improved and it made me felt more confident to finish my road test. I have never written a review but with Deshi driving school and special to Mr. Mamum i really wanted to do it to show how much i am happy with their service. I highly recommend to whoever wants to learn safe and great driving skills to Deshi school.

She took the time to show me all the tricks and made sure I practiced well before she drove me to the test site. Fantastic experience: This is the best driving school hands down. They was extremely fast and efficient. I called to get my 5 hour class and did it the same day. I made a rush appointment for the road test and got it the same week. I also took a few road lessons and my teacher was very kind, very patient with me and taught me everything i know. I have not rated excellent as the girl in customer service is very unprofessional and she will ruin the whole business of this school. Fantastic experience: Booked a car for a road test. The manager send me all the required instructions and a useful video about the road tests. I came on time and met the driver near the school. During a ride to the roar test location, we had a nice conversation with the instructor.

Negative experience: This has to have been the worst spot ever! I will start by saying I was able to get my license I did not personally train with this school but the extra services were horrible. They expedited my test as promised but on the day of my test I forgot my permit completely my fault I rushed home via a cab. Called to ask if I could meet the driver at the test site instead was told no. Even though I wouldn’t have been late. So I was told my test would be rescheduled I inquired if I would have to pay and was told no. The following day when they set up a test for me I was asked to pay again when I called and asked about not paying when I was told not to the man on the phone became angry and yelled at me twice. Finally my test was rescheduled after I told them I would contact my back about the payment. The day of my test I arrived early the man who took me to the site because I rented their car for 90 had to have been the worst driver ever! He was texting on the highway, removing his sandals, swerving off lane into other lanes and back into his, he almost hit a wall twice and almost ran into three cars. When we arrived at the site he fell asleep in the car! After my test he continued to pester me about checking my results even though they told me it would not be posted for an hour. This place needs to be completely looked at I even have the video of him texting while driving.

Negative experience: It’s a garbage place to go . Don’t waste your money guys. I did 5 lessons and made very clear that I need One instructor and one car until my road test but what actually happened was I got 3 instructors and 2 cars for 5 classes . UNBELIEVABLE!!! Himalayan and deshi driving are partners so, people better go to FLUSHING. They just want to rip your money . NIMA is the instructor who harassed me and told me he works for WHITE HOUSE. Unbelievable.. anyway, hope my review help you people save some money .

Fantastic experience: I took a pre-test with Forhad, one of the instructors at the Deshi Driving School before my actual driving test appointment. It had been several years since I had driven regularly and even longer before I had parallel parked a car. Forhad was very kind and patient with me. He allowed me several practice parallel parking attempts before I felt confident enough to do it as part of the final test. I passed the test because of Forhad’s confidence in my ability. I’d waited a long time, had gone through several hoops before I could get my license renewed at the NYS DMV. I am grateful for this School!

Negative experience: Called multiple times but they never picked up and their voicemail box is constantly full. The one time that the call did go through, they couldn’t give me a date of when is the earliest I can start my lessons. Said they would call me back with the date that I can start and I never got a call back. No customer service and they seemed that they don’t care whether you’re going to learn driving from them or not. Would rather not go to a place as unresponsive as this location.

Negative experience: (I don't usually post any bad reviews but I was very disappointed by their service. If this message can help anyone, then it will not have been a total waste of time and money.) Sure it is fast to get a road test here, but don't expect to learn much during a lesson ! My instructor spoke very little English and every explanation was taking so long that I barely practiced anything other than 2 parallel parking during the 45 min lesson (and he was holding the wheel and pressing the brake most of the time). I think he was very inefficient and unprofessional, and I consider this lesson a waste of time and money. I complained about it and here was my answer from them : " A 45 minutes lesson is not enough to teach anything or everything ". Well, if you want to learn something, you know you'd better go somewhere else !
