Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience with this school. I never took driving lessons with them except for today (the day of my road test) we had a two hour practice and then went straight to the test. I passed on my first try!! Thank you so much!! 100 percent recommend this school!! ☺️

Negative experience: I am writing this review in full frustration! I waited in the street in such hot weather for 20 minutes and the driving instructor did not come! So unprofessional and unreliable! Worse is that when i called to ask where is the driver the person on the phone told me he is there! I told her no he is not here! Then she mentioned a wrong address, i told her no it is not mine! She said ok give me few minutes to check. She called 15 minutes later to ask me about my address and where exactly is it located!!!! When i already gave the school my full address upon booking training and repeated it many times and the person confirmed it and confirmed my booking. And the bitter thing is that my address is close to their location not in another continent!!!!! Do not trust this driving school to give you a driving training, trust the negative reviews posted here that i regret i did not read prior to booking with this negligent school and all the reviews about its super poor quality service! They did not even care to apologize!!!! If i were the business owner for this school, i would read all the negative reviews and improve my services and show respect for clients before accepting new training requests. What a huge frustration!

Fantastic experience: My experience was amazing. I took 3 classes. The first time driving on the road was when I took my first class and she taught me everything from day one. Today I went for my test and I passed. I passed because of myself but also because of the help NJ National Driving School. I am so happy. They are amazing I wouldn’t go to any other place!

Negative experience: Had 2hr classes for 2 days time constantly changed. Pickup for road test 2pm didn't show till 2:30 & wasn't sure what papers my son needed. After roadtest my son was left without a way home, they said they had another student waiting & he could walk home. My husband left work to pick him up. $ 350 no courtesy what so ever. DISAPPOINTED TOTALLY 1 star is really too much!!!

Negative experience: Después de ir dos veces a tratar de pasar mi examen de manejo haber tomado clases con esta escuela y no pasar mis exámenes, lo cual no culpo a la escuela decidí tratar mi tercera vez con otra escuela pero la señora Nuria me había hecho la cita para mi tercera vez y exactamente la noche anterior antes de mi examen me llamo a preguntar si yo hiba a ir con ellos a pasar mi examen le dije que gracias pero que no que yo decidí ir con otra escuela, pues no me dijo nada y al siguiente día yo ya estába lista para hacer mi examen y no pude porque ella me canceló la cita, lo cual yo entiendo que ella me la hizo y la podía cancelar pero me parece muy poco profesional pues yo invertí mucho dinero con la escuela de ella y era una clienta por lo menos me tenía que decir mira yo te hice la cita pero como no vas a ir con mi escuela la tengo que cancelar. Muy mala persona y poco profesional. La tercera vez pase mi examen con la escuela INTERNACIONAL DRIVING ACADEMY con el instructor Oscar que es muy bueno y tienen una secretaría bien amable, que ellos te están llamando para dejarte saber las cosas y te ayudan.

Fantastic experience: This driving school is great and I highly recommend learning with them! After having lessons with a different driving school, I felt disappointed because I didn’t pass my road test. At NJ National, Rosie and the other staff were extremely kind and patient with me when it came to scheduling hours. Hours were relatively available, I was always notified ahead of time, and I even got to schedule an hour of practice before my road test. The main instructor I worked with was Carla and she helped improve my driving a lot by being persistent with me and teaching me consistency. With the help of the staff at NJ National, I was able to pass my road test after a couple lessons! Extremely grateful for this driving school.

Negative experience: The driving instructor came in half an hour late and took another 45 minutes for us to even start. There was no “ sorry for being late.” As we were driving to the practice spot, the instructor was driving with the phone in her hands talking to different people. Once the instructor got off the phone she told me that she had 2 people waiting on her at the dmv for their test. Which shows that not only did they not respect my time, they’re also not respecting their other client’s time. So, whoever is making the appointments is overlapping the times. That should’ve been my cue to leave. At the practice spot I was instructed to switch to another car with another instructor that just finishing up with a student.This instructor was the cherry on top of this bad experience. I informed her that this was my first time being behind the wheel. She had no patience and was yelling at my mistakes. I was ready to leave that car but I was too far into it to turn back. Overall, I think this place is disorganized with their scheduling, don’t respect people’s time, unprofessional and show no hospitality. This was my experience at this driving school.

Fantastic experience: This school is the best, I live in Newark and the schools here are full and they don't have days that you would like. NJ NATIONAL DRIVING SCHOOL is flexible and they get you the schedule you want, my instructor was Glenda, she is the best, I needed to practice the parallel and hand over hand, with them it I managed to do it perfectly, I recommend them, with them it is safe to pass the driving test.

Negative experience: About a Month Ago I decided to give it a go with this driving school and well to be honest I had the worst exprience ever as soon as I got in the car the lady was eating. When we started driving she would not put the phone down at all. You have to understand this if you are teaching people how to drive you got to put an example for yourself as a driving intrusctor to put the phone down ITS NOT SAFE! Since that day I never made another appotiment with them yesturday Septemeber 19,2022 she called me to ask to set up an appotiment with her and I told her I am going to cancel the contract with you guys because the 1st time i came in that car she was eating and talking on the phone and on top of that she was gossping in spanish ABOUT ME !!!! VERY VERY RUDE!!! Never will be going there again 1 Star!!!

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend this driving school to anyone. I scheduled two hours before my road test and went over parallel parking my instructor was Rolando. The instructor was patient and encouraging. He offered a lot of insight as to what the mvc road instructors expected and how to pass and I did. This place is worth the money. Thanks, Rolando.

Fantastic experience: Shout out to NJ National Driving School. My driving instructor Esperanza was amazing. I informed her that I already knew how to drive but I needed support with parallel parking and hand over hand. So, we focused on that! Esperanza Is so patient and knows exactly how to instruct her students in a professional manner. She made me feel comfortable and safe throughout our 3hrs of practice. She also instilled confidence in me and told me “you’re perfect” after our first session. I joked at my parking and said “I’m ok.” She then replied “no perfect.” I needed to hear that because I can be a bit hard on myself at-times. Needless to say, I PASSED MY ROAD TEST TODAY!! I am overjoyed. Thank you NJ National Driving School.

Negative experience: Bueno en mi caso les contare algo , pues la escuela le doy un 2 porque ellos son bien en dar y enseñar sobre como aprender a manejar .. lo malo esque todo el tiempo pasan en el teléfono hablando y son impuntuales para recogerlos a uno , además se paga esta escuela porque no sabemos manejar ( no es para que digan que con una clase que recibí ((se supone que ya sabes manejar dale dale))?no estoy a gusto con esta escuela ??

Negative experience: I took some classes with them a few months ago and my experience with them was mixed, mostly not good. My first day was fine and we did almost 2 hours, but my instructor was late and had the wrong address (person on the phone made a mistake despite me repeating myself VERY SLOWLY several times). They were also on their phone for half an hour and were not fully concentrated in teaching me. My next day was ridiculous. My instructor was 25min late and decided to stop by a corner store for a drink/snack (using my instruction time btw). They were on their phone for a whole hour and was gossiping in Spanish with the person on the phone (i understand Spanish) and my instructor started to CRY, too?? You are getting paid $50 an hour and the least you can do is PUT THAT PHONE AWAY! The only good thing I have to say is that they sorta know how to teach and take it slow which I really needed. However, unless you have no other option and this place is the most convenient I DO NOT recommend this school if they continue the same habits. I'm keeping myself anonymous since they love using that "we don't have your name in our records" excuse. English is not their first language so OBVIOUSLY they don't even write the RIGHT info in their books.

Fantastic experience: Rosie me deixou muito segura e treinou a baliza comigo várias e várias vezes até que eu ganhasse confiança. Me buscou em casa para o road test e foi pontual também. Passei de primeira no exame.

Negative experience: I registered my daughter for this school less than a month ago. The first time she was picked up for practice Lady was on time, great! My daughter was supposed to do 1 hour, and the woman only kept my daughter for like 45-50 mins. The next week came, and I told Nuria about the less than 1 hr lesson, and she told me she would bring it up to the lady conducting the class. She did and the lady sent me a text saying she did keep my daughter for an hour. I told her I looked at the time and that wasn’t the case, but in my mind I thought whatever, I am not going to argue I just want my daughter to have her driving lessons. She picked up my daughter, on time again and kept my daughter for 2 hrs as planned this time. Now I am trying to schedule my daughters next driving lesson because her test is coming up, and they don’t return my call. I text them, no text back. Every time I call this guy answers the phone that says he will relay the msg and still nothing. If they dont want my service just say so. After the 2nd failed driving class in Elizabeth NJ I refuse to sign my daughter up for any other driving schools in this city. These people are irresponsible, unreliable, and compared to my younger years when I used to take driving lessons, these classes don’t compare. I used to go on highways or even drive further. That is not the case with theses schools anymore. They want more money and less work. I will never reach out to these people again.

Negative experience: If I could give 0 starts, I truly would. Please run! I would highly recommend to seek another school. Nuria is extremely rude and unprofessional and will run the business into the ground. Her mother Rosie is kind, however during my practice she was on the phone the ENTIRE time. Additionally, she picked me up with another student in the vehicle, had me drop them off at home and then when my session was concluding had me pick up another student. This was the student's first time behind the wheel and Rosie made him drive me home - i felt extremely unsafe and that is unacceptable. The day of my road test, we confirmed that I would have 1-hour practice ahead of the test. Rosie showed up 30-mins late (after I called multiple times trying to reach them) leaving me with only 20-mins left to practice before my road test. Nuria screamed at me several times over the phone is truly the most rudest person I've ever encountered. Please seek a more professional driving school.

Fantastic experience: I want to start by thanking Nuri and her beautiful mom Rosie for teaching me how to drive. I learned so much with them that I definitely recommend this school to anyone who wants to learn to drive . I was learning to drive in NY and then I moved to jersey and when I became consistent and going to my driving classes I passed on my first time and honestly I was shocked but I wasn't surprised because both instructors were amazing and know what they are doing. My son is about to take his permit and definitely will be taking him to this amazing Driving school . Thank you Rosie and Nuri

They all knew how nervous I was behind the wheel especially because I would be driving with my kids … but they were consistent with me and patient and reassured me to be calm , stay alert and just drive . Made sure I learned everything to pass , all the specifics. I did only 3 classes with them for me to pass . Mastered my k-turn and parallel parking & hand over hand technique … They also recommended that I did my test in Rahway instead of Newark , and thank god for that ! Thank you again

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience. called the day before to schedule a road test n immediately responded with a date for the next day. Nuria gave me tips and gum for the test which relaxed me and was able to pass. Surprisingly, the road test in newark is much easier and they gave me a blue card which allowed me to get my license the same day!!

At first I didn't know how to drive, or turn but I kept practicing with them and made me improve as time went by.
