Fantastic experience: very late review but this driving school very much helped me pass, gain confidence behind the wheel, and get my license !! The two men that helped me were amazing instructors. Very informative, patient, and understanding. I have severe driving anxiety and when I had let them know about my anxieties in driving … They helped me be calm. They were patient all throughout the session. I may have failed a couple times but they were very encouraging until I finally passed! Very thankful for this school and the instructors here. (:

Fantastic experience: Guys, if you need a CDL. License, go to ideal driving school in fords, new jersey. The instructors a great. I had a guy named Dameon. He pushed me in a very positive way to complete this class. They take pride in what they do so that the students could pass the CD l class. I don't normally do a reviews but this one I said I had to because it was a great experience for me and a lot of other students that was in a class with me but. I could only give my experience. And it was a very ferry, great experience. Good luck to you, future CDL drivers.

STEFFANY sat me down explained everything you need to know and helped me understand everything with obtaining my CDL. super humble office people, now the 3 guys JAIRO, DAMEON LUIS. WERE HUMBLE AND PROFESSIONAL! without these 3 guys I wouldn't be here today with my CDL. want to thank them all for it. from start to finish they tell you everything you need to know and they shown you and explain it. super easy to get along with them, making if a very easy enjoyable experience. they test you throughout your hours and stop you if you didn't word it right. I highly recommend IDEAL 10 stars across the board. the study guide you get makes the permit test a breeze! highly highly recommend them! thank you again everyone over here! truly the best!!!!

Fantastic experience: Ideal is a fantastic driving school. I don’t say that lightly or easily either. My standards are high and always have been. The administrative staff is first rate. I really appreciated and enjoyed working with Mayieg and Steffanie in particular. They are very professional and efficient administrative staff personnel. The CDL Class A instructors are tremendous. Luis, Jairo and Damion are all very gifted Class A CDL instructors. I was very fortunate and frankly very privileged to work with them. It took some time, a lot of hard work and dedication but thanks to Ideal Driving School I was able to earn my Class A CDL. I am extremely grateful to Ideal Driving School and obviously I highly recommend the place. Occasionally, there can be a mild language barrier but, I guarantee it’s nothing to worry about and the instructors quickly work through it. Thank you, Ideal Driving School!

Fantastic experience: I just passed my CDL and im happy that I chose this school. I highly recommend these people, It’s really worth it!. They give you the tools you need but You gotta put your effort and dedication. Jairo is really funny, he makes you feel like his your homeboy. You can tell he likes to teach! He is a great person. Fantastic experience: I’ve been trying to get my CDL for 2 years almost 3 years I didn’t understand Spanish some of the instructors had broken English hard for me to grasp and always on the phone wasting my time I paid for and no refunds smh failed test after test but soon as they connected me with Dameon I got it in know time at all that man needs a raise he’s the best instructor and use to work at motor vehicle he will get you right ask for Dameon when you go to the yard trust me and be on the road to success like me thank you Dameon

Negative experience: Call for pricing information. They left me in line for 10 minutes. I thought they had forgotten about me and I called back and they treated me rudely. It was my option to get the CDL but with a deal like that the first time, I'm not interested. Maybe you don't care about a customer. That was January 27 at 1:00 PM.

Fantastic experience: This was a very good driving school. The staff is polite. I needed to borrow a car for my driving test and that took me last minute with no issues delays. The guy who drove me to my diving test gave me pointers beforehand and I passed on the first try! They really helped me and Stephanie was so polite. She made me feel welcome. Also, I practiced in the back where they have poles and cones which helped me a lot as well. I definitely recommend.

Negative experience: Honestly if you don’t know anything about the CDL world, don’t go here.. the instructors that you have to trust are not super hands on leaving you time to waste the hours you paid for.. I learned some things from them but ultimately learn everything from YouTube. I passed my cdl now I have my class A but I can’t say they were a huge help. I don’t feel that there passionate enough to make sure you got everything down pact..side note.. DMV is very strict when it comes to Commercial driving, therefore you need the proper guidance in every aspect when trying to obtain a cdl..lastly there is only one good instructor who name is Jhiro.. Luis is a instructor, knows his stuff, but like I said lack the passion to make sure you know what you need to know, maybe after this review they would get it together down there

Fantastic experience: This School has a very nice instructor by the name of Luise. He is patient and very detailed when training. I just want to thank him and say he is a hard good worker with great energy and it was a pleasure training with him . This guy really should be managing the yard as a manager instructor because he is so professional and have good work ethics and very knowledgeable. Thank you Luise you the best!!!!!!!!!

Negative experience: People in the office are VERY rude and UNPROFESSIONAL.

Negative experience: The instructor was on the phone the whole time and took a bathroom break using up 20 minutes (time I paid for). Before you sign anything, READ THE FINE PRINT. Regardless of their unprofessionalism, they will not refund you your money. These people care nothing about teaching you to drive.

Negative experience: Pricing on the website is incorrect as advised when I called, wasn't given any information but was told to "go in". I needed a price quote but tbh will go elsewhere as I was put on hold multiple times and given attitude. Terrible customer service to say the least. Ensure to update your prices online, it'd be less of a hassle for everyone.

La ultima practica y quien me llevo al examen fue una chica muy buena tambien, esta escuela tiene buenos instructores, tuve una buena experiencia, y pase mi examen a la primera. Negative experience: I used them for my daughter's driving lessons. however, she was basically their uber driver. She took the one driver to see his baby mama and had to sit in the car for half an hour while he was in the house. Then the next time a different driver had her drive him to do his errands for the day. I didn't know I was paying over $400 to have my kid be an uber driver for them. Not to mention the one instructor was on the phone screaming and cursing in Spanish because he thought my daughter couldn't speak Spanish which she is fluent in. Just very unprofessional Oh and to top it off IM still waiting to get her permit and it has been a month. I call weekly and get the runaround. I wouldn't recommend them to teach anything.

Negative experience: Wow terrible servicio ,quien sea que atiende el telefono mala actitud te deja en espera por mucho tiempo y despues la llamada se corta ,llamas de nuevo y te vuelven a dejar en espera .tendrian que poner al telefono alguien con mas professionalismo si no van a perder muchos clientes por culpa de la que atiende las llamadas...

Negative experience: A family member requested an instructor that speak Spanish because she didn’t speak English. The instructor arrived to pick her up late. Drove her to the testing site. Never gave her the 1h training for practice before the actual driving test. She told him that she didn’t speak English and that she requested an Spanish speaking instructor. And they said the instructor was chosen randomly and that there was nothing they could do. So she had to pay the money. She failed the test since she couldn’t practice and she never understood anything since the instructor didn’t understand Spanish and she didn’t understand English. Very bad with costumer service. She called and requested if she can get some credit or an actual class with someone in Spanish and they said no. That service was already provided. How was a service provided when she doesn’t speak English. Terrible service and very bad costumer service.

Fantastic experience: It’s very rare to read bad things about this school because they are amazing, instructors at the yard very help full!, people at the office were kind and help me every time. They were right, honest and you get the deal you made, trucks are in very good condition. Sadly I didn’t sign up with this school first time, but now I got my cdl A. Thank you Mayreg thank you IDEAL

Fantastic experience: One of the BEST school I went too especially my instructor Jairo /mentor and came out be a great friend threw my journey here .He help me pass my CDL class A .He took his time to explain everything and never left my side till I got everything down pack and was ready to move to the next step and explain everything and have few pointers to follow doing my parking that stuck in my head .HE unbelievable and the BEST IDEAL have ! Negative experience: Went there initially to talk to george after speaking to him on the phone prior. I was advised by the lady at the front desk when i got there that he was gone and wouldn't be back for an hour but she could help me instead. I tried to explain my situation but she kept over talking me and didn't answer any question i asked so i had to keep repeating myself. Then when i asked if she had all the information about classes in a pamphlet or if she could write the pricing and hours down she informed me that she writes to much as it is and that i could write it. She gave me a business card, when i got outside i threw it in the air as hard as i could. I will never knowingly pay for bad service and i wouldn't recommend this place to anyone

Esta escuela de manejo la recomiendo al 100% tienen unos instructores bien capacitado, a mi me tocaron 3 instructores distintos y cada uno de ellos se preocupan en que tu sepas y no dejan de explicarte asta que tu ya esté seguro de como estés manejando Gracias a a juan una persona que te da confianza y esta pendiente en todo lo que haces suerte para ti que tus sueños se te cumplan de ser Piloto. Gracias a víctor una persona bien capacitada y a la vez te brinda confianza en el manejo estando pendiente en cualquier fallo que agas creo que también es un buen basquetbolista Y luis fue la persona encargada en llevarme aser el examen de manejo, muy atento pendiente asta en tus documentos se preocupan en saber si llevas los 6 puntos revisa tus documentos para saber que todo este bien y por último el te da un repaso de manejo, muy pendiente y atento en que no falles en nada el te explica asta lo más mínimo para que no falles en nada... Felicito a esta escuela ya que gracias a un equipo profesional bien capacitado se encargan en brindar una buena educación en conducción donde te enseña a prevenir los axidente y te enseñan todas las Leyes de Tránsito....

Negative experience: As said by a person in the reviews: one of the instructors was very rude and showed lack of patience. You are getting paid to do a job, which is to teach. This person clearly doesn't enjoy or dislikes the idea of teaching hispanic people. So if you are hispanic, be careful. Some people in this company think that their $h!t don't stink or that they are above other groups of people. (Ideal Driving School - Fords, NJ).

Negative experience: The trainers were very rude and unhelpful when they’re supposed to be there to help you learn. Very unprofessional and not a good learning experience when the trainers don’t teach you anything and basically you have to learn on your own. They are rude to hispanic learners as well and take advantage of them. If you want to pass your CDL test, don’t come here thinking you’ll learn anything or pass it when the trainers themselves tell you that you won’t pass.

Fantastic experience: I did a 2 hour refresher with Dameon. He is the sweetest and the kindest and he made me feel comfortable with all of the tips and tricks. I passed my road test today thanks to him. I highly recommend!!!!

Fantastic experience: 10/10 Best school in this whole entire area for your CDL. The best instructors at the yard, Jairo, Jay, Margarita, Carlos, & Jonathan have all the answers to any question from parkings, to pre trip & driving on the road with a truck. I highly recommend this school, I passed my test on my first try thanks to all their knowledge & help at the yard! Sending everyone I know their way

Negative experience: The people in the office are very RUDE. Everything is nice and sweet until you pay - then they make everything difficult and do not care about you and your needs. HOWEVER, the instructors at the yard are awesome and very helpful people. Keep up the good work guys!

Positive experience: I had Wes as my instructor and it was one of the best choices I have made. We was very professional and polite I would definitely recommend this school to friends and family . Overall Wes is really patience and comfortable to learn with.

Negative experience: They are very unorganized. Had an appointment scheduled & they called to reschedule because the driver assigned was not available. The appointment was rescheduled for the following week. Called the day before to verify the time & was informed there was no appointment scheduled, no record or note of them calling to reschedule, nothing. The drivers are great, but whoever works in the office needs training & their people skills are awful.

Fantastic experience: BRO, WHEN I TELL YOU WES… CHEFS KISS, BEST DRIVING INSTRUCTOR THERE. HANDS DOWN BESTTTTTTT INSTRUCTOR ON THE WHOLE PLANET. That man is a blessing, literally he goes over EVERYTHING, he literally used you cars to explain lane switching, passing cars, etc. He makes sure you’re okay the ENTIRE TIME, not once was I uncomfortable in that car, even though I was like iffy with driving he was probably afraid for his life , but he was amazing. Music choice is fire btw, had me bumping the whole time ngl. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Bro I gotta repeat it again, best instructor ever, literally if you have the option to choose someone, CHOOSE HIM. thank you Wes!

Negative experience: Went to get my cdl at this school. Instructors are very cool but the overall system at the office is pretty bad. You can definitely find better CDL driving school with better deals. But if you decide to get your cdl at this school get the most hours as you can cdl takes time!!!
