And the management Was super understanding with scheduling my appointments and when I could or couldn’t make it. They also helped me make sure I was confident enough to drive because I’m not only driving myself around, but also my daughter overall I’m super grateful and I had a lovely experience.

Positive experience: I had a good experience with the Shenandoah Valley Driving School. I drove with other mostly competent drivers, and I was never worried for my own safety. I would recommend this school for anyone looking for a driving school for their child. The only thing I didn't like was that I switched instructors multiple times. I had four different instructors, and each instructor has some different things they believe or want you to do.

Fantastic experience: All of the staff here are AMAZING! I’m 25 and have always felt anxious at the thought of having to drive. I took a few private lessons as well as Behind The Wheel here, and my experience was greater than i could have ever asked for. The instructors are patient, kind, and great at explaining everything you need to know. I went from being scared to drive, to having confidence on the road. I would highly recommend this school to anyone who wants to get their license or simply become a safer driver.

Fantastic experience: Our grandson, age 20 and a reluctant driver, gained a great deal of confidence and skill working with his instructor. He commented that she was patient, calm, and very good at her job. That he has learned how to be a safe driver gives us all peace of mind. The whole experience was excellent. Thank you.

Positive experience: It was pretty good! I a student that was learning to drive was picked up from my school and then dropped off at the valley driving school. The only minus was the waiting time. If there was a student I was driving with from another school I would have to wait a very very long time. The arrival time was said to be 3:00 and they only arrived at 3:45. They would call though and apologize for the inconvenience:) I recommend this driving school !

Fantastic experience: My daughter took private driving lessons to get started with driving, and later, her behind the wheel and driving test at Shenandoah Driving School. The front office staff were all helpful with scheduling a plan for her. The driving instructors are patient and made sure she was comfortable and ready to move on. The private driving lessons made a big difference in setting her up for success and made it easier for me to then continue with teaching her to drive. I highly recommend this driving school. They deserve. more than 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: Shenandoah valley driving school was the best decision I could have made for my child!! They worked with our crazy schedule and after just the 1st lesson- my son was a more confident driver!! I cannot recommend them highly enough! Fantastic experience: I completed both the online classes and the Behind the Wheel sessions with Shenandoah Valley Driving School. My review has two parts: ONLINE COURSE: First, while I hate to say it, I really disliked the online course. Things I despised were: * the myriad grammatical and typographical errors * the inconsistent and difficult-to-follow formatting * the content, which was often ambiguous and confusing * the lack of proper "exercises/practice questions" to do before the tests (the questions at the end of each lessons have no answer key with which to check) This class took me far longer than it should have and, even as someone who is used to self-learning through textbooks, etc. (I am homeschooled), this course was very difficult to learn from. BEHIND THE WHEEL: However, after my initially poor experience (I did the online course first), I found myself completely blown away by the actual driving school itself. Things I loved were: * the friendly and professional staff * the excellent communication * the wonderful driving instructors and their varied teaching styles * the way the instructors immediately put me at ease, creating a confident driver out of a rather terrified me. ;) * the instructors' patience with my incessant questioning (Barbie knows what I'm talking about... ;) * the thoroughness of their explanations, stemming from an obvious experience with teaching Driver's Education In short, the driving school itself more than makes up for the lacking online course, and I would highly recommend this program to anyone doing Driver's Education!!

Fantastic experience: Diane and crew have taught our 5 children since 2005. Our last one finished up this year (2021). They have been easy to work with and kept their rates within reason. Very accommodating with scheduling. Definitely would recommend.

Everyone there is great at what they do and are so kind and supportive! Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: This is a great place to do behind the wheel. My experience was amazing. I did my behind the wheel with Barbie and she was really good and comfortable to drive with. She taught me new tricks and some rules that I did not know about the road. I would really recommend doing behind the wheel with Shenandoah valley driving school.

Our young drivers had only good things to say. But in addition to this, the school makes a special effort to communicate well with parents and to make the process as convenient as possible. Fantastic experience: The staff was very kind and understanding of people's concerns about covid. I took behind the wheel and the instructors would disinfect the car after each student finished their session. They would also have us put plastic sleeves on our seats to keep the car free of germs. The instructors made sure not to make the sessions feel awkward or boring and would also adjust their teaching to your skill level. For their behind the wheel program they teach you everything you need to know about driving, so you don't have to worry if you don't have much experience on the road. The behind the wheel program is very quick and will only take a total of seven days (the last day of the program is the driving test). I would definitely recommend coming here if you want a quick behind the wheel program with great instructors.
