Fantastic experience: Coach Dave has taught me the simplicity and the complexity of driving. He did this in a very interactive way and this will stick with me through my entire driving career

Positive experience: First, the class itself was really chill, coach was also a funny guy and made the class way more interesting than I expected. The coach was really patient and nice during the road test. It did take a while for me to wait until my turn to take the road test, I believe around three months after completing the written portion of the test. Also the results of the road test took a little more than a week to come out. But overall, if you have the patience, totally worth it.

Fantastic experience: Geuniely the best Teacher ive had and wants to make sure no matter what, all students are ready for the road and more knowlegeabe than when they walked in, it was and is more than worth doing getting so much no other place would give.

Negative experience: Don’t bring your teenager here for training! I gave Coach Dave a 1 star due to his material during the training being informative to my teenager. We were informed at the mandatory meeting that the rode portion will be take no longer than 2 months. However, it’s been 4 months since we’ve heard anything from them. I’ve contacted the school and the lady who answers the phone has a very passive aggressive attitude and she’s disrespectful. I was informed 2 weeks ago through text message to send dates when my teenager would be available for the driving portion and nothing after that. This is ridiculous!!! Coach Dave over books his classes with teenagers and doesn’t have any employees to teach the teenagers how to drive.

Negative experience: dont bring your kids here. worst driving school. after my student driver took the class in February of this year he is still waiting to do the physical driving portion. this is ridiculous. its been almost 3 months of waiting. the lady who answers the phones is always so disrespectful and they continue to say it will be in two weeks when the kids with get scheduled to drive.

Negative experience: My daughter took this class and while it helped her, we found out that she was not taught parallel parking or backing up into spots. I feel like that should be a requirement of driving school. How are these kids going to park in old towne? Or if they go somewhere that requires parallel parking? And backing into a parking spot is important too. I know you can pull in, but we paid a price to this school to help us teach her how to drive and parallel wasn't even touched on or backing up? I find that to be unacceptable.

We also shared a lot for personal story’s that teach is lessons on driving and why we should be careful. This is 100% the best driving school in Louisiana if not the country. And special thanks to Dwight who made learning very easy, spent most of my driving with him and it was fun. They picked me up and drop off at my house since I only live 3mins away from the academy so thank you guys.

Fantastic experience: Prior to the class, I had no clue about much of the road and its laws. I now feel safe knowing the information that was adequately taught. The guy seems to know what he’s talking about, especially regarding the fact that he’s taught driver’s ed for 30+ years. Instructions are clear and there’s a sense of personal care and communication that other driving schools tend to lack

Negative experience: Called to enroll my son in this school and the lady was so rude. She put me on hold more than five times. She told me some other customer wouldn't stop calling back. Then she proceeded to tell me "I want you to understand our process because I don't want there to be a misunderstanding because you won't get your deposit back." I gave her all of my son information and even my credit card information to put a $50 deposit. She proceeds to run my card by asking for the cc number, expiration, and security pin. She placed me on hold again. She then sends me an email twice stating I still owed $400 payment. I asked her where is the email to show I paid the $50 deposit. She then says you didn't give me your card information or pay anything. I said wait a minute, I just gave you all of my credit card information. She then tells me your son cannot attend this school and hangs up in my face. The worst customer service ever. I am so annoyed that she took all of my personal information and hung up on me.

Coach Dave even goes as far as teaching you what’s under the hood and how to calculate your miles per gallon. I highly recommend this driving school.

They are learning so much and have really enjoyed Coach Dave’s classes. He makes class fun, informative and engaging. His approach to the material ensures each student has a good understanding of the material so that they perform their very best on the written state driving test. He shares materials with parents to make sure that we understand what they’ve been taught in class/in the car so that we can enforce those some instructions and skills when they begin driving with us.
