I’m so glad I decided to take one of my coworkers advice and went to take lessons from Lucy and do my test in Yonkers after failing twice in the Bronx. Fantastic experience: HIghly recommend driving school. First of all, I was able to speak to Lucy right away on a Saturday morning (not an answering machine :) and was able to schedule FIVE sessions with my son, leading to his road test. She didn't oversell or pushed me to get a bigger package or rent a car for the road test. She sent me a text reminder the night before each appointment. One time, I had a question about the time and I was able to talk to Nicole right away. I was doubtful about having a couple of lessons at night but remember that a student driver has to have 15 hours of night driving anyway. My son had Lester as his teacher and I can't thank him enough for his help. He gave concise instructions and boosted my son's confidence on the very 1st session. He texted if he was going to be a few minutes late and he always made up for the time if he was late. The session before the day of the road test. He did a mock road test with my son and went through each item when they're done. My son passed his road test with only 5 point deduction at the Yonkers road test site no less! Also, compared to other driving schools in lower westchester, their rates are very good. Especially if you are taking your test at Yonkers, this is the place to learn!

From the moment I walked into the office to schedule my lessons Lucy was very sweet, kind and encouraging to me. When I started my lessons I was very anxious and nervous. Fantastic experience: These guys are the absolute best I missed one of my lessons out of five and I still passed with flying colors on my first test. Lester is the absolute greatest I have also adopted him as my big man bay son because his instructing skills are amazing and you will feel super comfortable and informed at all times. Negative experience: Lucy the owner of the driving school is a thief , she is also texting the wrong times for appointments. Lucy text for an appointment at 11pm at night not knowing if I had to work the next morning.She text me saying I had an appointment at 8pm , but showed up at 8am instead. Lucy the (owner) refuses to take accountability for her mistakes . So my money for 2 classes went down the drain, because she refuses to give me back my money or replace my 2 classes. She literally took advantage of an unemployed college teenager . She was on vacation enjoying her self saying she couldn't speak any more. Shame ,shame,shame ,shame on you LucyAuto Driving School

Negative experience: Office and Owner unprofessional . White Kia was super dirty with tobacco and dirt everywhere. Lester the instructor had a big dunkin cup with what looked like old brown throw up sitting there.

Positive experience: Lucy and her team are extremely nice people and I felt very comfortable taking my lessons with Suanlee. However, I felt like I had some issues that were not being corrected in my driving. Suanlee was confident I would pass, so I trusted her judgement and scheduled the road test. When I took my test, unfortunately, I did not pass. I took the test in one of the cars that I was not too comfortable in. Guess I was unlucky that day! Despite me not passing while working with Lucy's school, I still recommend this driving school to nervous drivers, and I thank Lucy and her team for teaching me. They helped me overcome a lot of the fear I had while driving.

Negative experience: Very unprofessional as well an made me feel very uncomfortable to even call back an ask them for anything. I been having a very horrible week. I fail for test an alot goin on in personal life . So I ask them to schedule my test as well a extra class to learn. An I was going to end up paying to use car . But I had to reschedule on Monday to I nicely ask to reschedule hours ahead of time . The response from was breath taken . The first replied that I basically wouldn't get my money back if I reschedule. Luckily I forgot to press password on cash app which didn't send payment even tho I thought I did. I was lucky I didn't. So now I'm asleep an had horrible night. So wake up an see they replied next time I have to pay before doing anything with them as well as .they had more people lined up to take test to jokes on me if I did it on purpose. So now I'm just shocked . Cause Lucy seems so sweet her staff badly represents her an its not good for business. The driver outstanding guy . Receptionist bad kook for company. All an all they lost me as a customer there was alot of unprofessional things goin on . (Ps . An now your lying I only took 5 hour test one time am then scheduled road test so again how could I reschedule for anything ?? ) ever your reply is unprofessional) I wouldn't recommend yall to the Flintstones. Yall need to take yall feeling out of business an run a legitimate business.

Fantastic experience: I can’t even begin to explain how pleasant my experience was! I hadn’t driven in 3 years had absolutely no background! I called Lucy and someone in the office picked up on the 3rd ring, i explained my goals and they walked me through the best options for me the package was sooo affordable!!! We scheduled all of the classes on the phone. All the instructors were amazing super thorough and extremely patient with me! They assisted me in scheduling the test at no cost i originally was going to use my moms car for the road test! The day before i found out i couldn’t use that car i called Lucy and Lucy was able to accommodate me to use one of their cars !! My first time taking the test and I passed !!!! I am so grateful! I just recommended Lucy to everyone in My family that’s trying to get their license!! !! If you’re debating on which school would be best this school is it!!! Look no further!!

Fantastic experience: I had called another driving school by the name of ontime and they took about 20-30 min just to pick up the phone, and the whole scheduling classes was difficult. When I called Lucy everything went smooth. They were able to schedule and even worked around the times when I was free. The instructors all explained everything thoroughly and any question or concerns I had, would be answered to the best of their knowledge. I can honestly say I’m glad I didn’t hesitate to call Lucy because it was all worth it!

Positive experience: Failed road test with like 65 points off on things I wasn’t told to be corrected on after numerous lessons; rescheduled to take mine a week and a half later and passed with 20 points off because my family had to instruct me and correct me since we can’t pay for more lessons, so I could fix the things I got points off on my previous road test. So I ended up passing things to some of my family members practicing with me. There was also too many different instructors that I had every lesson so it was confusing as some of them had different methods of teaching and instructing when it came to driving. Other than that the school isn’t that bad, but I just wish it was a bit more organized as a whole.

Negative experience: Lucy personally gave my son 4 lessons on the streets of Yonkers without requesting/making sure his had his driving permit. Once she realized he didn't have his permit the classes were cancelled. She collected $850 for the 10 classes and is refusing to issue a refund

Fantastic experience: I took my test today for the first time and passed. I am a totally beginner adult driver that was very nervous to drive and I am glad I found Lucy's. Lester was my instructor and is the best. He was very patient, extremely knowledgeable and incredibly kind. He definitely made me confident and comfortable behind the wheels. As a beginner driver, I must say I owe a lot to Lester for his amazing teaching and calming presence. More than passing the test, he made me believe in myself and not doubt my ability to drive, which made a huge difference to me. There was no question that was stupid, and he always made sure all my questions were answered. He really cares about his students and makes sure they get confident about their driving and passing. Lucy and Christine at the office were very supportive and cooperative as well when it came to rescheduling or working around my availability. Fantastic experience: It took me 10 years to get my license, when I found Lucy Driving School, I received private lessons from Lucy and her knowledgeable staff and I finally passed! Everyone here does a phenomenal job and recommend everyone to give this school a call if you want to take lessons from people who care! ❤️

Fantastic experience: I found this after being at a bad driving school and it was great I learned a lot the first time I took my test I failed the second time I failed and I didn’t wanna take it anymore but I was encouraged by the people around me and the school to take it again and I passed ima really proud of myself and thank you to all the driving instructors at lucy Driving school you guys helped me a lot thank you❤️

Fantastic experience: I had 5 lessons with Lucy Driving School and passed my road test on the first try!!! I originally started my lessons with Suhanly, she was amazing! She was very sweet, patient and understanding of all my faults and troubles I was having while driving. I Did not know how to park when I first drove with her but at the end of the first lesson i was parking without her guidance! She was such a nice person to talk to as well! For my last lesson I was scheduled with Lester, and he was just as kind as Suhanly! Even though their teaching techniques when it came to parking were slightly different, he helped me gain even more knowledge and really helped me build my confidence for my road test! As an anxious person Lester was completely supportive and reminded me that I knew what I was doing, his calming presence helped me feel more confident behind the wheel. At the end of the lesson, he told me that I did not have to worry about my road test because if I drove the way I was driving with him, I was going to pass. And I did!! At the road test site, I met with Lucy herself, she was completely amazing and helped me along with the other students relax our nerves before taking our road tests! Having worked with such kind and patient people really helped and I'm glad that I went to Lucy's! Thank you to Suhanly and Lester for helping me prepare myself for the road test and to Lucy who gave me the pep-talk I needed before getting behind the wheel with the DMV instructor! If you're looking for a driving school who will actually help you become a driver and take the time to explain everything step by step, I highly recommend this driving school!

Fantastic experience: Lucy’s Driving school is Amazing. From the first time I called them, they were very helpful and the staff was great. My instructor was Lester, he is a great teacher and is very patient. He helps you learn how to drive and gain confidence driving as well. He has a great parallel parking technique that made parking really easy. I PASSED my test today and I couldn’t have done it without him!!! I also had a lesson with Lucy and a lesson with Swanly, they were also great teachers. I highly recommend Lucy’s driving school, you will be in great hands I can promise you that!!!
