Negative experience: Do not go here they told me I could walk in anytime during the day and they would get me in so I went in on my work break and they said I couldn’t do it then I paid 85 for a 3:30 appointment just to wait 10-15 minutes past the appointment time and when I got in and I went to back up he abruptly stoped me and told me to change my seat then he was very short with me wasn’t giving me directions fully when I asked him what road he said to turn on he got mad and said he’s not allowed to tell me what road just when to turn and when it was a stop sign or light he would wait until very last second to tell me to turn so I would either cut someone off or stop traffic to merge and then I want to park and he slammed on his break and make me go into the wheel and started YELLING at me saying to no ouch the gas and straight my wheel (it was very straight) even my mother saw this and was very confused what I did wrong and they failed me

Negative experience: I’m writing this review for the safety of others to watch out for this company and who they have working there. I was driving and I had the right away at a green light and a younger girl who was driving one of the company student vehicles almost hit my car that has my baby in it. Proceeded to speed off and then cut me off and tried to brake check me. Which didn’t work because I kept my distance. I switched lanes to stay away and we met at a red light and she rolled her window down and started cussing me out (VERY UNPROFESSIONAL) and said she had the right away (if she’s a driving instructor she isn’t a good one and shouldn’t be teaching students to drive) she was reckless and did not have the right away and she needs to take a driving course herself. I just hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else. I’m happy my family and I are safe from this reckless driver that shouldn’t be working for a student driving company! I hope they do something about her because she was unprofessional and irresponsible. My sister in the passenger seat tried to get a picture of her and this is the best she could get. DO BETTER PEOPLE!

Negative experience: The driving Instructor with glasses and a pony tail was very aggressive and pushy with his teaching approach. Creating an environment that wasn’t safe for someone trying to take a test that should be simple and easy, making it difficult and uncomfortable. Negative experience: We were warned by the DMV employees to NOT use the services next door! Unfortunately, I didn’t listen, the driver instructor who tested my daughter for her drivers license was more worried about his next appointment than making sure my daughter passed her test! He even yelled at her during the test when she couldn’t make a right turn safely! When the DMV TELLS YOU TO FIND A DIFFERENT SCHOOL, please listen! $85.00 for a driving test, plus rude owner! It’s a scam to take your money!

Negative experience: This driving school is such a waste if money. The instructor literally told me to go above to posted speed. He is really rude. Don’t know his job.whole time he just convince me to get classes from their training school. don’t recommend this driving school.

Negative experience: Normally I don’t write reviews due to potential harmful liabilities to a merchant, small business, etc. but thought that by writing this small review is most helpful to the general public. I recently visited this office and was greeted with such a hostile greeting, not friendly, rude but most importantly they lack professionalism. They proceeded to request a deposit for potential services that would be rendered, however the next day they were not able to render the services and would not surrender my deposit. I urge you not to support such practices, but rather take your business elsewhere. The use of profanity, unprofessional behavior and dishonest practice should be the reason why you should stay away from this business. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Fantastic experience: My daughter is neurodivergent and we were at the end of our rope with getting her the hours needed for her drivers license. Caleb was so helpful in listening to our needs and getting our daughter with the right instructor. I can’t say nice enough things about Mikey. Not sure she would be driving without him. Great facility with great employees!

Caleb was amazing with my son and put his nerves at ease from the moment they got in the car. He was tough but fair. I wish we had taken my daughter there instead of that other place.

Negative experience: First of all let me start off by saying this place doesn’t even deserve one star. I took my son there a couple weeks ago for his road test. He’s been driving almost everyday for over a year. As soon as Caleb came out from the back and started talking, I knew right away my son didn’t stand a chance. He was rude and condescending, he started blurting out orders without even introducing himself. He made my son so uncomfortable during the 15-20 minutes, he was literally shaking. He said it was the worst experience of his life. I would not recommend this place to anyone. My son went the following day to another driving school and passed easily. For all the parents who are looking for a driving school for your kids, stay far away from this place.

The instructor, a tall guy with a ponytail, aggressively intimidated my 60-year-old mother during her first driving experience in the United States. He made her more nervous and forcibly removed her from the car, leaving her in tears. When I inquired about the necessity of such treatment, the two fat ladies with black hair at the front desk responded by yelling and insulting me, causing me to fear for my safety. Despite their role in making my mother cry and leave, I found myself apologizing to them. The truth is, I feared for my integrity during the entire encounter. Upon reading other reviews, it seems that this treatment is rooted in racism. I strongly advise against choosing this location, as it not only risks your financial investment but also poses a threat to your well-being, even if you manage to pass the test. SI HABLAS SOLO ESPANOL, NO VENGAN ACA. Si pudiera darles 0 estrellas, lo haría. El instructor, un tipo alto con cola de caballo, es muy agresivo. Mi mama tiene 60 años y es su primera experiencia conduciendo en Estados Unidos. Este hombre la intimidó, la puso más nerviosa y la sacó del auto llorando. Entonces fui a preguntar si era necesario tratar a una persona de esa manera, y las dos señoras gordas de cabello negro en la recepción comenzaron a gritarme e insultarme; En ese momento tenía mucho miedo de que me atacaran. Negative experience: Id give 0 stars if i could. Had the bigger guy with a ponytail as my driving instructor (name wasn’t provided) & he was absolutely terrible. Paid $80 for a road test just for this man to act rude & condescending towards me the whole experience, as i showed him nothing but respect the whole way. He got stern with me every time i talked myself through my actions, yes sir’d his directions, or even for apologizing about a sudden brake/turn (even though most of his directions were all very last second with little to no warning). I was stopped at a green light because other drivers kept running their reds & he blamed their actions on me, i refuse to get into a collision on purpose just because i wouldn’t be at fault legally. He even yelled at me for applying the Ebrake when the test was finished claiming that applying the Ebrake on flat surfaces causes wear & tear on their vehicles. That statement is completely false idk who told him that. Also some bigger woman with dark hair was in the office yelling at everybody before my test started, as well as rushing my instructor. So i dont know if he was taking whatever happened in the office out on me or what, but either way it was a very terrible experience & i never plan on returning to retake my test. Nor will i be recommending this place to anybody ever.

In each test he was kind, courteous, patient, knowledgeable and made the process extremely comfortable. 10/10 would recommend this particular facility and the instructor Mikey. Fantastic experience: When we first walked in, they were so nice and welcoming. My son needed lessons and his confidence in driving was very low even though he had his permit for a few months. After one driving lesson with Mike, his confidence soared. I was amazed at how his confidence had changed. When I drove with him again, after he had taken the second lesson, I was surprised at his improvement in driving skills and confidence. I can not recommend this place enough. The friendliness was amazing. Mike was the perfect instructor for our son. He was encouraging and gave correction in a very positive way that my son received well. THANK YOU!! I wish that we had signed up for lessons with National Driver Training months ago.

Negative experience: DO NOT USE THIS COMAPNY FOR YOUR DIVERS TEST! First off, we were told that their credit card system was down and they could only take cash. "Luckily" they had an ATM conveniently placed in the lobby. They also don't go by the standard 15 point system and use their own subjective measures for passing and failing. And as others have said, the employees are racist and will treat anyone who is not white with disrespect. They will fail you in the hopes that you will take the driving test again.

Negative experience: One of the teachers driving with a student was flicking us off in the middle of the street that is really unprofessional they shouldn't have teachers like that helping kids drive we called the supervisor and she didn't seam to care She stated that all her drivers where at the office witch was a lie

Negative experience: Bad experience overall. Unfriendly attitude from staff that will kick you out of the office to wait, and overall treat you like you're not a human being. If you have trouble with anxiety do NOT go there, otherwise you will be a complete wreck afterwards. They will take points off of you for "looking uncomfortable", even if it is directly their fault.

Fantastic experience: As soon as we walked in they were helpful. Ran into an issue and they had an employee walk with us to DMV and fix it. Then still got us in within 20 minutes for the drivers test. Super friendly employees and not to expensive. Mike was amazing.

Negative experience: After leaving numerous messages to return my phone call that were not returned, I was finally able to speak with someone. They told me that we only had 1 year from time of purchase to use the driving hours and it was expired. We purchased the hours in a package before covid and to covid and the DMV being closed, we lost out on our driving hours for our son. Then they did not live up to the package that they sold us. I am taking my daughter elsewhere for the requirements to get her license.

Fantastic experience: With the personality that mike has and the encouragement of this company they are the best hands down. The lady in the front desk (I forgot her name lol) she was super welcoming and the first guy I have the test with was also cool. The best driving lessons or driving school you can ever receive from the country I vouch for that. And I t’s nothing compared to any driving schools in New York where I am from (took some driving lessons there) that is all about the money. If u get anxious or have anxiety or get nervous when driving or whatever the case is at all, this is the place for you. Try it and if you don’t like it just tell me I am wrong. I will recommend this place to whoever I know!! Took the test at other driving school at this location that will fail you just to get more money off you, But here they make sure you know what you are doing and you are confident about driving. They give you the best lesson and make you a safe driver and you will be good!!

Fantastic experience: I took the 4 hour driving awareness course through them last year and got my permit . The whole process was super quick and easy ! Today I took my license test and the lady I had was super nice throughout the process once again . I passed, couldn’t ask for a better driving program ! You guys rock!

Negative experience: Bad service, i was failed for "weird driving' by Mike. There was a pedestrian in the street, and he said i shouldn't have slowed down for him. He said "you stopped at a green light to turn right" when in fact the motion of the car had never stopped. He then proceed to insult me and my father. Terrible service, they test based on no reasonable logic, completely opinion based. Do not waste your money on the poor service of National Driver Training.

Negative experience: Zero - no stars!!!!! These driver trainers are unprofessional and completely unqualified to assess anyone's driving ability. Do not waste your money and time going to this office. They actually fail drivers intentionally to get more money out of them.

Fantastic experience: I just took the test with Mike. He was so nice and made me feel comfortable the whole time. I had just missed an appoinment at a different place and they got me in last minute so I wouldn't waste the two hour drive I took up to the Springs. Recomend 100%

Fantastic experience: I called after passing my written test, which happened to be scheduled really late. Mike made sure to get me in early the next day, which was today. I arrived an hour early by accident and he had time for me to come in and take my test immediately. I let him know I was nervous and he was great at creating a comfortable and safe environment. It wasn't like taking a test at all, more like a nice drive where we got to chat along the way. I'd recommend this place to anyone who's nervous about the test. So happy I went here!

Then again after having her permit for a year for her drivers license test. My daughter now has her drivers license. Spent more time at the drivers license place in line then at ndtcs. Fantastic experience: We couldn't get an appointment with the DMV due to pandemic, so we went with this company so my kid could get her license. I think the instructors name was Mike, tall caucasian. I called several times to confirm & had questions & he was always professional & caring. The day of testing he gave my daughter several corrections & my daughter agreed he was right. Nerves do get to one. She still passed. The office staff was friendly also. Easy & smooth transition Sad that a person would rate low just by walking by nothing to do with testing. SMH

Negative experience: This guy is extremely rude and racist! DO NOT give them your money. I’ve been driving for 25 years and had to renew my license. He kept accusing me of stuff that I wasn’t doing and was mad that I wasn’t going faster‍♂️ What an absolute joke!!!! I know when I’m being scammed... he had the nerve to try and sell me on coming back and “try again” LMFAO

Fantastic experience: Locally owned and operated! Support small business in Colorado Springs. Susan worked with me to get me scheduled for my drive test quickly and efficiently and Caleb was friendly and professional, making the test a breeze. MUCH less of a headache than the other schools nearby.

Negative experience: This location easily can be labeled as a terrible experience. The driving instructor was the manager and he was extremely rude throughout the duration of my driving test giving sarcastic comments as well as having an overall negative attitude. If you have a teen who is nervous about their driver's test and would like them to pass this is definitely not the place for you.

Negative experience: Terrible experience! Owner was completely unprofessional to my son while he was taking his driving test; making sarcastic comments, yanking steering wheel, shouting commands, raising his voice as if he was his kid, and completely rude all around. He went as far as to instruct my kid to speed up in a school zone "because kids were out of school so you will be failed for going too slow." As if that wasn't enough, he rudely told my wife to "put the cellphone away!" Even though she had it on her lap and was not using it. Yet his kid was playing around the office. He is clearly understaffed. DO NOT go to this place! Save your $50.

Fantastic experience: Both of my children, as well as 5 other Scouts from our troop, attended the Traffic Safety Merit Badge Caleb put on for the BSA. They all learned a lot and we were quite happy with their ability to finish the badge in this session. We truly appreciate his taking the time to do this for the Scouts in the council and will definitely recommend him in the future to those looking for a driving school.

Fantastic experience: I arrived 10 minutes before 9:00am (when NDTCS opens for business) with two other gentlemen outside. Caleb and the lady at the front desk were kind enough to let us come inside and sit down before they started business for the day because it was very cold out. The staff were polite, professional, and gave clear instructions throughout the check-in process. Caleb conducted my drive test and was also very professional and pleasant. At no point during the drive test did I have unclear expectations of what I was being asked to do. When we returned to the office, Caleb walked through my drive results with me, and the staff had my completion paperwork ready within less than five minutes. I joked with the front desk while I waited, and was wished a great day and to stay safe out on the roads. The entire process from start to finish took less than an hour. Highly recommended!

After making it incredibly difficult to even book a time (they forced you to pay before you can even book) I had to ask for a refund because of their incredibly limited availability. They also take a 10% cut of any cancellation. Please save you money, time, and energy.
