Fantastic experience: Great Place for anybody interested in receiving their CDL I worked with Instructor Lucas who was very patient and knowledgeable of rules of the road and how to perform techniques. 10/10 will recommend.

Fantastic experience: I just passed my class B cdl today. The school helped me tremendously. I had three different instructors and they were all good. But the best advice I can give is to study at home as much as possible. Watch the video the school provides, a lot. The school will help you perfect what you should already know. And they are very flexible with the schedule.

Fantastic experience: Great experience here! I have used them twice. First time was for my class B in 2021 and then again in 2024 for my class A. The instructors are nice, patient and great at training. The administrators in the office are also very pleasant. Elizabeth was great at helping me sign up and answering all of the questions and concerns I had during the process. She also went out of her way to recover a past receipt that needed for work. Go there and check it out, they will walk you through everything. I highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: 100% recommend it’s worth the drive if you don’t live nearby. I took the 150hr class a career program. The classroom portion was very good because it makes you aware of the things you were going to do and see before you get out into the yard. They are very accommodating to your schedule and your needs. All the instructors are very friendly and are all very knowledgeable and have years of experience that can’t be taught. Once again I’d 100% recommend you to attend commercial driver training.

Positive experience: I had night driving training, I made a right turn and the instructor said I was to close to a sign,I said I seen it,and he immediately pulled the emergency brake and told me I was to cocky. He is white,and I'm black. Suspended me for a week during pre road test practice. Didn't matter though, I passed anyway.Definitely a family protect family business,didn't even ask me what happened.

Fantastic experience: I just finished my CDL A license program through the CSEA program on Monday and I can't be more grateful for all the employees and instructors. Passed my A road test on the first try! From the office staff being VERY communicative to the instructors being VERY knowledgeable my 11 lessons at CDT was always a good learning experience. Each lesson was unique having a different instructor who taught a little different by pointing tips and tricks. It really made me a more well rounded driver. Other CDL schools had very bad reviews and CDT stuck out because of its reviews and the reviews held their weight. Would 100% recommend this school to another new driver. Fantastic experience: If you are looking to get a CDL this is where you NEED to go to school. Whatever class you are looking for they have a program for you. I personally went for my Class A license. I had no experience driving anything big at all. All of the instructors are very knowledgable and willing to teach you. If you get the pleasure of learning from Bill H in the classroom you will learn a lot & actually enjoy the classroom part of the course. Everyone is super nice and willing to help including the office staff and director of operations. I was very nervous about my road test and skills so i also want to thank Jimmy & Chuck they were the two instructors to really help boost my confidence. I was in the 150 hour program and passed my road test on the first try. They will make sure you are completely prepared for the road test and teach you about what it will be like driving after you get your license. Choosing CDT was one of the best decisions i’ve made!

Fantastic experience: Searching for a great CDL School wasn’t easy and then I saw this school with excellent reviews & ratings. I’m so grateful that I decided to enroll in Commercial Driver Training Inc because they really trained & taught me everything that I needed to know when it comes to trucks with air brakes. (I enrolled in the 18 classes package for the CDL A license) The knowledge that all the instructors I had during my time there helped me so much in passing and obtaining my CDL A license! Any questions I had, they answered it without hesitation and they made me feel at ease. Fantastic experience: I signed up for classes with CDT in order to get my class A drivers license. Everyone I dealt with at CDT, from the driving instructors to the office staff, was professional & amazing to deal with. I took driving classes with different instructors including Lucas, Charlie & Chuck. All were great and each provided different insights on how to approach the pre-trip inspection, driving & parallel parking. I highly recommend this company if you are looking to get driving lessons & any licenses!!

Positive experience: Hey everyone , recently got my CDL CLASS B ! This driving school had amazing instructors ( shout out to chuck, charlie and lucas) and good equipment /trucks and the office staff was very friendly and helpful. I had one minor concern. I practiced and had many lessons on a good condition truck, then once it came time for the road test the school supplied the truck rental which was in poor condition. I thought i had failed the road test because of this . Luckily i passed...... just make sure you ask what truck is going to the road test and get some time on it. THE ROAD TEST IS VERY DIFFICULT AND YOU HAVE TO "CONNECT THE DOTS ON YOUR OWN". COMMERCIAL DRIVING SCHOOL WILL PREPARE YOU AS MUCH AS THEY CAN BUT THERE ARE MANY TRICKS THAT YOU HAVE TO FIGURE OUT YOUR SELF ON THE ROAD TEST . PRACTICE ALOT GOING THROUGH DIFFERENT INTERSECTIONS.

Fantastic experience: This is by far the best school I’ve been too. I’ve went to another cdl class school prior to coming here and I failed the the road test multiple times. I’ve read the reviews for Commercial Driver training and decided to give it a shot here. I did 3 road trainings took the test today 2/13/24 and passed the first try. Thank you Big Bill, his way of teaching is excellent. I took the test in the snow storm today and wasn’t nervous at all because the way they teach here with confidence!

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of with meeting with just about all of the instructors. They all helped me along the way to obtaining my Class A. The trainers at CDT are very knowledgeable about everything that has to do with trucking and what it takes to become a successful CDL driver. Chuck was an AMAZING instructor who made learning to drive fun. He was very patient with me, making sure I knew what I was doing before I left from under his training. This school will not let you down as long as you are willing to put in the effort. They really want to see you graduate and be successful.

Negative experience: *********************Military***Beware*************************** I was dropped from Commercial Driver Training Inc. because I missed too many classes. I am now attending another school, but I can't get my funding because the school's ELR to date has not completed processing my paperwork. I was dropped from the school in March, and it is now August. I am in my second month at the new school and still haven't received my benefits from the VA. I am at the point of being evicted! In my current opinion, go find another school that is more military friendly. You are a person, but to them you are just paperwork! I posted this on 08/16/24 look to see how long it takes before I receive a response!

Fantastic experience: I just got my CDl yesterday and can’t thank them enough for all the help. I would highly recommend this school I think it’s one the best in the area. They have a lot options to choose from for the payments I know getting your CDL is not cheap but this school works talk to Elizabeth she can guide you through. If you really looking for great driving school with affordable payments this is one to go to! Fantastic experience: The endeavor of getting my CDL seemed daunting but the Commercial Driver Training School made the process easy. I was able to take the ELDT Theory training and all driving lessons for my Class A CDL within a few months. The office even called me when there were cancellations so I could get my lessons in sooner than scheduled. My instructors were very supportive and helped me learn everything I needed to know to pass the written and road tests. I was so happy when I passed my road test and I will likely be back soon to get training for a Hazmat endorsement. Thank you to everyone at CDT!

Positive experience: Unfortunately they don’t provide training for CDL Class A for people that are 18-20 even though I have the permit

My road test went off whithout a hitch and I have to give all the credit to the instructor who worked with me from CDT (Bill Hall). Cdt is lucky to have this instructor, he went above and beyond!!!! Fantastic experience: I had zero experience on stick shifting or driving a truck and this place did a complete 180 on me. This place is absolutely fantastic!! In the office Linda and Deanne were so helpful, and motivating. Almost wanted to quit and Linda was incredibly supportive and helpful and helped me push through!! Thank you for that! All the instructors there are incredible wish I got the chance to work with all of them but the main 3 I had were Greg, Bill H(big bill) and pat. Also chuck and Dan. All of them were patient, supportive and extremely knowledgeable! Each instructor has their own style so if you don’t pick up a certain part of the training with one you may pick it up with the other. But yes all of my instructor’s were amazing and I thank them very much for teaching me everything I needed to know. I wish I could do more to show my gratitude and appreciation. Definitely recommending this school for whoever is interested in getting their CDL!!! Again thank you all very much!

Fantastic experience: I was going for a CDL class B with passenger and air brake endorsements. The instructors were knowledgeable, courteous and patient. The ladies in the office made everything run smooth and were so helpful the entire process.

All of the instructors are great they take their time on each lesson making sure you’re comfortable and understand how to properly operate a commercial vehicle from the inspection to parking and driving. This is the best place to invest in your self they don’t push you to do more lessons if they feel you don’t need which is honest of them not like these other schools that only care about taking your money, CDT genuinely cares and wants you to succeed. Fantastic experience: I am a father with a full time job. CDT was able to tailor a program Just for me. The instructors are simply the best. They have been doing this since 1961. They are the GOATS in every aspect or license type in commercial training period.

Fantastic experience: Excellent experience at CDT. Got my Class A without any experience driving a truck or a manual transmission. The instructors are great as well as the women running the office. I was referred by a couple friends that went here and got their Class A licenses. I'm glad I listened to them.

They are very professional, good management, secure you have ability to pass the cdl test so you wouldn’t lose your money. They have very stable trucks which helped me to pass the tests. I had very bad experience in other school. The truck was so heavy like driving a tank. Once the brakes did not work right. Fantastic experience: Went to this school as a class A driver for 11 years to get a passenger endorsement. I'm writing this review because after attending a few courses, this school truly cares about the quality of drivers they produce. The facility is very nice, the instructors will train you in all the required backing maneuvers within the confines of a spacious and safe on site parking field. Their equipment was safe and everything functioned properly. I have already recommended this school to several people I know who have asked me about becoming a driver. ~JR

Everyone one from the front office to the instructors are dedicated to making sure you earn your license. Fantastic experience: Great CDL school! They have several classes & programs optional, with experienced instructors to teach you systematically! I came to remove my automatic restriction on my CDL, and I succeeded after 4 classes; thank you instructor Greg and other staff; highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: CDT was excellent! I did the 300 hour program & it was well worth it. I was a bit nervous because I had never driven manual transmission (especially having to learn manual in a semi). However the instructors taught me great. Shoutout to Bill K. , Michael, Jimmy & Fernando ( Might come off strict but they just want you to pass). Because of this school I passed my road test FIRST TRY in a six speed. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: CDL Class A no restrictions I went into CDT on a time crunch from my job to get a CDL. I spoke to Jenna, told her that I NEED my cdl in four months. I called other places that couldn’t fit me in in those four months due to their waiting list. I explained my situation to her and she squeezed me in. She was very understanding and did everything she could to help me out. All of the instructors have years and years of experience and care about you passing. They really know ALL of the tips and tricks to driving a truck. Not only do they know how to make you pass the test, but they also give you a lot of insight on real driving situations. Because of this I passed the road test on my first try. Shout out to my man Bill! Overall great experience.

Fantastic experience: We run an Apprentice to Technician program and in order to graduate, the candidate must obtain their CDL License. Our partnership and relationship with the CDT School is amazing! They are accommodating to our schedule, every of our guys has successfully earned their CDL and are now in the field driving our trucks. Jenna in the office especially is awesome!!! She is super helpful in coordinating the schedules. You cannot go wrong choosing this school!

Fantastic experience: It is in my humble opinion that the experience at CDT is in many ways beyond me to put in words. I had the best experience in my training, learning and experience going to this trucking school. The entire staff from the ladies in the office are exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable and goes beyond their measures to make you feel comfortable and to have a great learning experience. That said it’s up to you the student to be a good student and exercise the same respect and to be professional and courteous. Learning to be a professional driver encompasses many facets and as long as you are attentive and put your energy to it you can do it and this is the school I’d recommend anyone to go to. Every instructor is different and you can learn from each one of them “ we all learn differently as well as they all teach differently but it is up to you the student to pay attention take it all in and learn ways to uniquely make it your own. My experience was amazing and all the staff at CDT I want to express my gratitude for teaching me and showing me the ways to drive and keep safe on the road as a professional driver. That said this school is the school of choice as they will teach you that process and the way of the professional driver Mortimer
