Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience at Florida Safety Council, Melbourne! I took the 3-class and test combo, and my instructor, Liz, was phenomenal. As someone who had never driven before, Liz's patience, helpful tips, and techniques made a huge difference. She gave me plenty of practice and constructive feedback after each class, which boosted my confidence. When it came time for the test, Kevin was incredibly kind and made me feel at ease, which helped me stay calm and pass the exam. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I booked a series of three lessons and driving test for my daughter. She went from never driving on a road to passing her test easily. Negative experience: Need to have a doorbell for when people arrive early for their appointments on the weekends instead of having them stand outside, where there’s no shade in the heat until somebody comes to the door

Fantastic experience: We took our oldest son here for the 6hrs of lessons and driving exam. Greg was the instructor during our son's lessons and our son immediately felt at ease with him. Greg was so friendly, encouraging, and professional! I worked with Kevin over the phone to book our appointments and after the lessons, he was the examiner for our sons final drive with this school. Kevin was great as well! He was incredibly friendly and very professional during our time there. While we do live in Orange City, this location is worth the drive down I95, which we will definitely be doing again when our youngest comes of age in a couple of years! I am already hoping both Kevin & Greg are there for him as I know he will be in great hands!! Thank you both for giving our oldest son a confident and SAFE start to his driving career!!

Fantastic experience: We had a great experience at the Melbourne branch of FL Safety Council. My daughter took 12 hours of lessons when she first got her permit. After 35 years of driving she was teaching me things. What she learned stuck with her. When it was time for her test Kevin was gentle and patient with her. His calming nature made her feel more at ease…she was very nervous. She passed and is on the road to success. Highly recommend this group!

Fantastic experience: I took one drivers course with Jeff before I took my test the next day, Jeff was very patient with me and made sure I knew how to do everything that would be on the test to ensure I pass. I appreciate how kind and friendly he was. I took my driving test with Kevin and he was very kind even when I made one simple mistake he didn’t panic, he was very assuring and it kept me calm. I ended up passing and getting my drivers license from the dmv. Thank you both for your help and kindness through this process. If you’re thinking about going with them, don’t think twice just book the appointment and know that you’re safe with them.

I took a driving class with Greg and took my road test with Kevin who were both super nice and great at their jobs! Fantastic experience: I was court ordered to take a 12 hour advanced driving course, I was able to sign up and pay online easily. 8:30am-3:30pm Friday and Saturday, we were given the perfect amount of breaks to keep our minds sharp. The teacher Mr Mo was amazing, I had a great time learning and sharing stories and plenty of laughs. This was overall the best way to do this class, the online class was a little cheaper but when you logged out it was supposed to save your answered but it never did, and when you sign back in all the questions are jumbled up and re-worded. I would absolutely recommend this class to anyone who needs it, it’s 30$ more but so worth it!

Fantastic experience: Better late than never. April 2022 my g'daughter went for road testing. Knowing how I am, I thought it would be best for her to have someone else work with her before getting her license. Kevin and Jeff were great, patient and very understanding. I definitely recommend Florida Safety Council.

Fantastic experience: We recently used Florida Safety Council are are extremely happy with their services. My son took a 2 hour driving class with Greg who ensured my son was fully prepared for the driving license road test. Greg was an amazing instructor and was easy-going and “chill” as my son put it :-) Immediately after the driving instruction, my son had his road test with Kevin, who was relaxed and put my son at ease. My son passed the road test and we took the paper provided to DMV the next day to get his actual license with zero issues! Thank you Kevin and Greg for a wonderful experience for my son getting his drivers license! We will definitely be using this service for my younger son next year!!

Fantastic experience: I was so happy to have Nicole as my daughter’s instructor. She was fantastic and really helped her advance so much. Kevin was also a great driving exam teacher. We had a great experience and we will be using this service again soon for my youngest child. Safe, experienced and professional services.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend them. Jeff provides a good training, explains very well what is going to be done and the expected results, repeating each step as many times as necessary. The practice takes place in the residential and commercial area around his office, which gives peace of mind because it is not heavily trafficked and when enough has been practiced in those streets, it is time to go out to the nearby busy avenues but Jeff is always guiding calmly each step to take, being a good guide. In the same way, Kevin explains each step to take within the test in time, it is very safe, there are no tricks, all requests are under traffic regulations. I am very grateful to both of them for their time and patience since I was very nervous but they knew how to calm my nerves and give me confidence behind the wheel.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely great customer service. Kevin was very professional and helpful to provide information regarding lessons and the overall process. The instructor I was assigned to, was probably everything you should look for in a driving teacher! Greg was patient, structured, and kind to correct and provide feeback when needed. Best school around 100%.

Negative experience: Originally gave this center two stars but I’m lowering it down to one star (zero if I could!) Just due to the additional unprofessionalism and rudeness that I got from the manager Latina. Refuse to listen to my side, denied anything that happened in the office that she was not present in and just acted as if I was the problem there. Cannot believe this place runs with such attitude, driven and unprofessional women. I would avoid and find another school if you need! Had to go here due to a DUI case. The case instructors that I had were great. Very empathetic, knowledgeable and able to speak with and understand (after a conversation) that all cases are not alike. Even the front desk ladies are usually pretty pleasant. The evaluator Eva however was another story and hence leaving this review. Upon walking in she had an attitude and was not friendly whatsoever. I had even heard her commenting before me that it was “one of those days” so this nearly confirms that she was not having a good day. When I began to answer her questions (admittedly not happy about it due to the situation) she told me that I had an attitude and refused to proceed with the evaluation. I said several times to proceed and let’s get through this and she replied that because I was pressuring her to complete that I had to reschedule and she was refusing my evaluation. I live an hour away from this center and it not only extremely inconvenient to just come back whenever, this evaluation has to be completed by a certain time frame due to court order. Extremely unprofessional attitude by certain employees at this center. People here are already stressed enough and maybe they need evaluators that understand this better and know how to deal with upset people.

Fantastic experience: We had a very positive experience using Florida Safety Council for my daughter's driving lessons and test. Kevin was extremely helpful in setting up the classes and Jeff was an excellent instructor. My daughter gained confidence in her driving skills. The whole process was so smooth and taking the driving test at the Florida Safety Council makes it a very stress free experience. The appointment at the DMV then was just for the vision test and to get her picture taken and get her license.

Fantastic experience: My daughter took her road test at Florida Safety Council, and it was such a nice experience! The DMV is crowded and stressful, but the Florida Safety Council building was calm and quiet, with no long lines. Kevin administered her test, and was very friendly and easygoing. My daughter walked in and immediately began her test. We were there for maybe twenty minutes total-- I highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: My son had ben driving for a year and was ready for his road test. We decided to work with The Safety Council in Melbourne, FL, so he could take his final lesson with a professional immediately before his road test, to ensure his success. He took one two hour lesson with Greg and my son that he was, "mellow, patient and stayed calm the whole time, even when I made mistakes." He then took his road test with Kevin. Kevin was also very kind and exuded a calm energy that put us both at ease. My son passed his test and we are very thankful to the Safety Council for all of their help!

Fantastic experience: I took my first test at the DMV and they gave me a bad test so I went here so I didn’t have to deal with the DMV anymore. Jeff was my instructor and did a wonderful job at teaching! I did the three course with a test bundle and Jeff helped me pass the test with a perfect score. I took my test with Kevin and he was a great tester! Definitely recommend coming here!

Fantastic experience: I could not be more pleased with the service and instructor Kevin. The day before my 16 year old had a horrible and traumatic experience at the DMV in our county. I was told about the United Safety Council and was lucky enough to get her in the next morning. What a 180’ experience all around. Kevin was great from phone calls to the testing, he made her feel comfortable and confident. I will absolutely be bringing my other daughter here when it’s her time to road test. I’ve already recommended others as well and will continue to do so.

Fantastic experience: Florida Safety Council is the best place to get the driver's license for the first time or beginners. My daughter took a package of 3 days lessons plus test. They taught her well and she passed the test. I believed that every penny is worth with them. For the safety, beginners need to take lessons for precautions on the road. She was trained by Jeff and Greg. Both of them explained me for her weaknesses at the end of each lesson. Then, she had time to practice her weaknesses. Finally, Kevin did the driving test and she passed it. Thank you so much for your team.

Fantastic experience: This place is the best place to go if you want to get your drivers license. I took the 2 hour course before the actual test and it's a good way to refresh and to know what you are going to do for the test. For the course, I had Greg as my instructor. He was very kind and assisted me well. He made sure I knew everything before the test and was overall a really nice guy. The test administrator, Kevin, is also amazing. He was clear with his instructions and told me what I did wrong and how to fix those mistakes. The process itself was very clear and smooth and with all of their help, I was able to pass and obtain my license.

Fantastic experience: This is an amazing driving school! Kevin and Greg were the ones helping us and they couldn’t have been more nice and helpful. Greg gave me a 120 minute class before my drivers test, he was very helpful and gave me really good tips on things I was struggling with. After my class, I took my drivers test with Kevin, which was no longer than 15 minutes. Overall, it was great service and I recommend it to anyone who is close to getting their license.

Fantastic experience: I scheduled my daughter's appointment to get her driver's license with the DMV about a month out, but when we got there that day we discovered that I had selected the wrong option (they really need to fix their website) and the next available appointment for a road test was more than a week out and was all the way in Titusville. My daughter was heartbroken, she was so excited to finally get her license and I felt horrible. No thanks to the DMV, I found out about Florida Safety Council thru my own curiosity of whether or not there were 3rd party road testing options. Imagine my surprise and delight when I discovered Florida Safety Council offers road tests AND that I could get my daughter an appointment for a road test the very next day with them! Granted, you're still going to need an appointment with the DMV to actually get the license, but those appointments are a little easier to get than the road test appointments. She took her road test with Kevin and her experience was so smooth. He really took the time to explain everything to her, which put her more at ease and relaxed for the road test. It was a great experience! My only regret is that I didn't know about them or the services they offered earlier, bc if I would have, I for sure would have scheduled driving lessons for her. Florida Safety Council, please put more marketing material in the schools bc there are so many people who don't know about you! I KNOW I'm not the only parent who has made this mistake with the DMV, so if you're reading this and the same thing happened to you, please save yourself the headache and look of disappointment in your kids eyes and the long wait for an appointment at the DMV and just go here!

Fantastic experience: Thanks to Florida Safety Council of Melbourne. I enrolled my daughter a package deal of 6 hours total of driving lesson and it includes the driving test. I also enrolled her in a separate practice driving test with Ernie before the actual road test with Kevin. The staff at Florida Safety Council are amazing, patience, knowledgeable. They are the best at what they do. Thank you Kevin for being an amazing driving test instructor. I also want to thank Ernie for driving practice test and Nicole for teaching her how to drive properly. My daughter learned a lot from you guys.

I had issues at the DMV that would have prevented me from getting me driver’s license, as I was unexpectedly unable to take a road test that day. I went to Florida Safety Council, was offered a driving test immediately upon arrival, and enjoyed a low pressure test with a great instructor. So grateful for all of the help they offered me at Florida Safety Council!

Fantastic experience: Jeff was my driving instructor, he was really good. I was really nervous when I first started driving but Jeff was a great teacher and really taught me how to drive. Kevin took me on my driving test and I passed! Kevin was good instructor as well.

Fantastic experience: Took my test a few months back. Kevin was so wonderful during my entire driving test endeavor down to the phone call asking to sign up. I really appreciate how patient and kind he was. Really recommend this place to take tests and lessons.

Fantastic experience: My drivers course instructors name was Jeff. He was amazing!! 5 Stars for Jeff!! Great personality, I usually have a lot of anxiety when it comes to driving but he made me feel very comfortable behind the wheel. After my last course with Jeff I went straight on to my road test with Kevin! Kevin was very polite and professional. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Huge thank you to the both of them!

Fantastic experience: The overall experience was very good. The guy, Kevin, made me feel less nervous about my driver’s test. Appointment was set for 2 pm but we got there a good half hour or so earlier and he got us started and we got out of there before I was even supposed to be there! Definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: Mr. Jeff is a wonderful instructor, who is incredibly patient, yet firm and concise. He has great tips and tricks that are extremely helpful with managing the road and learning to efficiently park, and remembering maneuvers. Mr. Kevin administered the driving test in an orderly fashion, making sure I understood directions, without wording things in a manner that would seem tricky or taken differently than intended. Great experience, would recommend. Thanks again! ☺️

Fantastic experience: My daughter had a great experience with Florida Safety, she felt comfortable with her instructor. It was a delight to work with Kevin who took her on her lessons and also with her road test. Was very happy with my experience. I am glad we chose to go with Florida Safety.
