Fantastic experience: Searched all over for an affordable in person driving school all day a couple months back. Ended up going to 405 Driving in Vancouver. I ended up deciding on doing the driving school instead of the adult drives. I was not disappointed! They work with the students and families and the staff were all very kind and honest. All the classes reinforced all the driving practice as well! They get you ready for a class test at the end that is similar if not somewhat harder than the state knowledge exam. If you pass the class test, odds are that you’ll pass the knowledge exam! If you do all your instructor drives and practice a bit, you’ll probably pass the driving exam pretty easy too. I’d definitely recommend giving them a try!

Negative experience: I passed my driving test , they told me my test scores would be in within 24 hours , after 24 hours my grandparents drove me all the way across town to the dol for us to have to drive back and ask them to put the test scores in then have to drive back to the dol

Negative experience: Don't use them. They never have times available for the drives. They put a few out every week during the day when teenagers are in school. It took us a year to find the times that would work. Only during vacations.They won't work with you on the phone. The service is terrible. The location is sketchy if I could have gotten my money back we would not have stayed. Worst ever! This was my 4th kid. We only used it because everyone else was so booked up. I regretted it the entire year!

Fantastic experience: My teen really enjoyed the instructors, especially Rhea. We were able to go through the classes, written test, and drives in under 4 months. The trick is to set an alarm or whatever and check at 10am/12pm Thursday for the schedule to be posted. They get snapped up by the end of the day. So yes, if you're checking Friday-Wednesday you will have trouble finding prime appointments.

Negative experience: I would recommend going elsewhere for this service. In a year, we have not been able to schedule all of the drives my son needed due to a lack of instructors. They say that new times are posted on Thursday, but they refuse to be consistent. Sometimes, there are drives during the week, while he is in school, but most of the time, there is nothing. The site where you are supposed to schedule everything is difficult to navigate at best, and when I called and a few months ago to get help, I got excuses about staffing issues. At this point, my son is going to have to start over somewhere else or wait until he is 18. He's depressed and upset. I had to save to pay for this to start with. Now, I'm starting over having to beg for overtime at work to try and save the several hundred dollars again that I have wasted thinking this company would do what they said.

Negative experience: Virtual class experience was decent. There are NEVER drives available. I check the calendar (as recommended) morning and afternoon every Thursday. Cancellations can happen any time so I also check randomly every week. My son took his classes last Nov/Dec 2023 and still can’t get his 5th drive scheduled almost 10 months later. On the rare occasion that a drive is available, it’s in the middle of the day on a school day. Staff had been rude every time I call and ask for help finding drive options. Never again.

Negative experience: Please don't book with these people. You will not be able to book driving lesson for your child with these folks. We started my son driver ed course a year ago and here we are one year later we could only get 4 lessons in and his driver permit expired right before the 5th lesson and they couldn't wait 5 minutes while I renew it online before his last lesson. They only release new lessons availability once a week and the lessons are all gone by the time you log on if you are a working parent. Communication with these folks are extremely difficult since you can only email them and wait a day or two to hear back. This is my first time with this company. Three of my other kids went with 911 driving school and they had no trouble going through the process. I switched 405 last summer because there was no avaibility at the the other school. Here we are a year later and my son only have four lessons and very likely will not get his driver license in time before school start. Save yourself some trouble and do not book with this 405 driving school!!

Negative experience: There is almost never any drives and exams open, if you ever want to complete you have to go on ever Thursday at exactly 12 and compete to get an open slot. Not to mention they are prone to last minute cancelations, so good luck actually being able to get your schooling done through them. The school it self is great such as teachers and the courses, but their lack of business management makes it a horrible place to learn.

I had a question early on and another follow up question this week. The team got back to me very quickly with the information I needed. Thank you!!

Negative experience: We registered our child for an in-person course. 2 weeks prior, it was changed to virtual - with about 100 other students. The instructor was really good but, it was not the in-person experience that we had been seeking. The drives with the Instructors are impossible to schedule. We have been trying to schedule since April and our child just had her first drive with an Instructor - it's July! They are NEVER available, and I check the site daily, sometimes multiple times per day. Not sure what is happening there with their staffing but if they don't have enough driving instructors, they should stop accepting new students until the ones that have already paid get their drives done. Ridiculous. Don't waste your money.

Fantastic experience: I loved doing 405 for drivers ed. I took 405’s online classes and they were so fun. The instructors knew how to make class really fun and entertaining, I honestly looked forward to it. As if now, I’m going in person for the drives and those are pretty good too. The instructors know how to make the students comfortable driving and I was pretty stress free on the ones I’ve done so far. I 100% recommend 405 to anyone who’s beginning to drive!

Fantastic experience: I arranged for my grandson to take drivers training. He just completed his first weekend of the online courses . I listened to the zoom meetings and was very impressed with how thorough the program was. They take the training very seriously and make sure that the students are engaged and following the instruction. I went into the office to pick up a workbook and was helped right away by friendly staff. I feel very good about the quality of this program and believe that it will definitely prepare my grandson for the responsibility of being a driver.

Negative experience: I would rate them 1 star if I could. They are very quick to accept your payment but then consistently fail to offer driving sessions or test times. The staff is rude and unwilling to accommodate. If they lack instructors, they shouldn't enroll more students. I advise against choosing this driving school if you want a reliable option for your children.

I thought the signing up Process was easy. Scheduling drive times and exam times was easy. Barbara, who works there is awesome. My daughter loves her and says nothing but great things about her.

Negative experience: Очень печальный опыт... Полностью не согласен с решением инструктора. Немного нервничал во время теста на вождение и выполняя параллельную парковку, чуть наехал на бровку. Инструктор Rhea Myers в своем воображении мне сказал, что мол таким образом я создал угрозу человеку и т.д. Да там, даже второй машины не было не то, что какой-то угрозы. Больше не было никаких ошибок при вождении и эта явно надумана. Самое интересное, что на их сайте нет возможности оставить отзыв или как-то оспорить решение инструктора. Они это делают реально, чтобы заработать на клиентах. Не знаю, как теперь оспорить. Остался очень не доволен...

Negative experience: I had a terrible experience with this place. I studied very hard and was 100% sure I passed the test. The test instructor was very rude and also looked dirty and told me I failed without giving me my results or telling me how I failed when I passed all the practice tests online and was positive I passed. The lady at the front was nice. I would avoid this place I think the test instructor fails people on purpose so they have to pay more money to try again.

Even though my English is very weak, he took his time and patiently explained what needed to be done. And thanks to his patience, I felt calm and was able to pass the test the first time! I made the mistake of parallel parking, I know I don't like it and I'm always looking for easier parking options. But overall I completed the rest of the tasks well! and scored 92 points!!! Hooray

Fantastic experience: I had a driver's ed course with Kramer Gill and Rhea Myers over Zoom, and I'm very glad I chose 405 Driving School. The instructors were friendly and helpful, always showing examples of situations that might otherwise be difficult to envision. Beyond that, the class was very entertaining- half my lectures in university weren't nearly as interesting. I never really found myself dreading a class, even though they're a whole 2 hours long. Ultimately, I feel ready to take the knowledge test, and I'm happy with the money I spent.

Low availability. -One of the core instructors is irritable and at times rude. Even old guys could benefit from "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all."
