Negative experience: dont waste ur money here, they never respond to texts or call really rude older male teacher with a nasty attitude the woman, who is his wife, is quite nice but really they don't teach u anything. after 6-8 hours or lessons and learning, i felt so unprepared and scared to drive with my permit because they do not teach at all except to drive in a straight line

Negative experience: wish i never took my lessons here!! don’t go here. they do not value your time AT ALL. I have to text multiple times to find out my schedule and they were very unprofessional. Instructor was so impatient and was being rude to me A LOT. I feel like I cannot drive with ease with an instructor like that. She would get mad and show attitude for LITTLE things, my mistakes were minor it was just something simple, i wasn’t going to crash. if you are an instructor, you should learn to be patient and kind to new drivers.

Fantastic experience: Ajay driving school is good for getting inputs for driving and for parallel parking they give tips with which we can easily park properly and confidently

Negative experience: We confirmed lessons 1 week before for certain time for weekend. We confirmed twice and at last moment they asked to change time. We ended up not taking session with them. Very unprofessional with schedule and commitment.

Negative experience: I wish I could give 0 stars; I had a really bad experience with this school, it really ruined my kid’s excitement of first-time learning experience and caused so much stress during his spring break. Very unprofessional in maintaining schedules, never valued our time. I had to call or text them multiple times to check about the class timings but kept me uncertain all the time. If you pre pay them, mostly you are at their mercy.

Negative experience: Had a hard time trying to schedule appointments, even when I had paid for 3 sessions in advance. Ultimately they did schedule my sessions at my requested timings, but they caused me a lot of anxiety and stress because they just don't respond to calls or messages. The first instructor who is the owner's son I think, was very condescending towards me, but the next instructor taught me well. I am trying to schedule a few more sessions with the last instructor, but same issue, having a hard time to schedule sessions due to lack of communication. Very unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: Me and my husband selected Ajay Driving School for his road test. He was referred to us by one of the friend and we are happy that we decided to select Ajay Driving School. Ajaybhai has very good experience and he teaches very well. My hubby use to drive back in our county, but within first few minutes Ajaybhai corrected few of his mistakes. After that, few lessons and amazingly my husband was able to clear his road test with a first attempt. Last but not least many thanks to adjust to our schedule and time length. BIG THANKS!!!

Fantastic experience: I had driving lessons with Ajay during the summer of 2023. I really enjoyed the experience and overall helped me learn a lot about the rules of the road. They especially helped me with parallel parking, and showed me all the tricks and tips to doing so without hitting any neighboring cars. They were very calm and collected at all times during the lessons, and it really helped me gain confidence on the road.

Negative experience: I really didn't want to write a one star review for this school, but I had to. I picked this school based on a friends recommendation. 3 years ago he was a no show after talking on the phone and texting to get the application forms for my son. I gave him the benefit of doubt at that time, may be he forgot. This time when I called for my daughter, first he made me wait more than a month for a date. After repeated texts and calls he showed up for one 2 hrs class with my daughter and since then he is a no show, zero response to texts. every time you call, he will say he will get back with a date and time, but he will never call back. My daughter is 17 and she needs some extra lessons, i wasted so much time with this school. Simply put, they are not professional at all. If you want quality and professional lessons, pay a bit more and pick one of the other driving schools recommended by your kids school. Nor more calling this guy. I am done.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend ajay driving school if new to driving.. Ajay is one of the best instructors I have ever seen. I passed in the first attempt of taking the road test. He not only teaches in the point of road test, but also he helps us to drive in all possible conditions. They explain the driving technique patiently and clarifies each and every doubt. Negative experience: Never plan to go with this driving school. Really waste of time. Because of them wasted 2 weeks of driving lessons. They never respond to phone calls and Texts .If they are busy they have to tell in advance or communicate when possible. But they suddenly call or text and ask us, are you ready in next 30 minutes.

It’s a family run business and they give a great amount of attention to individual’s needs. Rather than going too aggressive and scaring the students, they bring in focused driving lessons and the driving test ends up like a cakewalk. Their specialities - no aggression, genuine effort to pass their students in the first try, well maintained cars rather than typical training school cars. Negative experience: Today, Ajay proceeded to scream at my brother for an hour prior to his road test and 7 years ago I was a student with Ajay where he screamed at me during the practice before my road test and I failed the first time I took it. This behaviour is unacceptable, shameful, and inappropriate. Ajay shouldn't be allowed to teach children if he thinks it's appropriate to scream at them and has been doing so for years.

Fantastic experience: I really recomend Ajay driving school for drving practice.. Today i passed my road test in kilmer Edison just in first attempt. The way he taught me drive safely with all precautions i just follow all things i and really appreciate his work. He gave me all lessons very calmy and profesionally.

Negative experience: I would not recommend going through Ajay Driving School for a driving test. Earlier when I called to inquire for his services for a driving test and 1 hour of practice. He quoted a figure of $275 which includes one hour of practice, pickup and drop off from home, and using his car for the driving test at the DMV. After I paid, a day before my test he refused to come pick me up from my place. I had to uber to his office. After I was done with my test, on our way back he asked for 50$ more for the one hour of practice. Also, he refused to drop me back to my home. I also wasn't able to finish up my procedure at the DMV that day as we had to hrurry back due to which i had to uber out again another day to the closer DMV. As mentioned by others he keeps answering calls for new inquiries throught the process. On our way to the DMV he also brake tested a guy on the left most lane while I was driving on the interstate which was kind of scary. If you are to take Ajay's services, make sure you understand and get everything in written from him. If he had made it clear regarding the other hidden charges / No pick up and drop off from home before, I would have clearly not gone for his services at all. It did cost me an additional $100+ which I would have rather paid to some other driving school who had all the charges and services clearly mentioned.

Had great communication and inquires with Ajay to see how i saw my daughter progress. Overall great team to work with. She passed her road test on the first attempt.

Fantastic experience: I took 5 classes (10 hours) with Ajay Driving School. All the instructors are amazing and all the instructors ensure that they teach you at the location of the test. I took my test at Kilmer and all my sessions were in Kilmer. They are also flexible with the timings. I have a long work schedule and they always adjusted the timing to second half as per my request. I would highly recommend joining this school.

He will teach you one day and then if you call him 200 times also, he will not pick up the call or even if he picks up the call,he will tell you a date when he will come and then will never show up. There are many good,professional driving schools around the area. May be they are $10,$15 more, but they are professional and will teach you. So please don’t waste your time with this Ajay driving school and book any other place

Fantastic experience: Very good value and communication. Helped my Teen Age son get trained, appointment, driving test and end to end till clearing the driving test. Flexible and also helped with right checks and balance to wait for the visa and documentation at the right level so it becomes very easy to get the steps through. Very practical. Negative experience: This review is of the conduct of the driving instructor while I was the driving in front of him today . While driving up Durham , I came to a slowing stop to let a truck make a left hand turn from the opposite lane on to the 287 ramp. The instructor whom I might add had a student in the car driving , laid down the horn and began throwing hand gestures at me . By law , I did absolutely nothing wrong . I was simply being courteous to the truck driver . It was this man’s impatience that allowed him to become so enraged at me . I felt so bad for the young lady that was in the drivers seat. Would you really want someone like him teaching your loved ones how to drive ??? Please think twice before you contact this company . Thank goodness. I have both front and rear dash cams that recorded the entire incident.

Fantastic experience: I only wanted to rent their car for my road test and they offered a 1 hour lesson as a minimal additional cost. The smallest of the tips they gave me during this 1 hour session was extremely helpful in clearing my road test without any problem at all. My road test was a piece of cake. Their reverse parking technique was specially helpful.

When finally I got slot, I have called them 2-3 times just to confirm because earlier slots were cancelled.. on this I got answers like do not bother us.. if you bother we will cancel your slot.. very unprofessional..

Negative experience: Three years ago my son had no problem when he did his 6hr driving course. However, recently I contacted them for my daughter's 6hr course. The phone conversation went well, so I waited to get the application that they mentioned.(he said he will drop the application in my mail box) About two weeks in I still didn't get it, and I called them. I got the application that same day and after three days I texted them back that the application is filled and ready for him to pick up but they never contacted me again. So I decided to choose other driving school. They wasted my time, also if they don't want to schedule my daughter then they should have just said it! In my experience Ajay driving school is unprofessional and untrustworthy.

Positive experience: As an 18 year old somewhat experienced driver, Ajay's Driving School has honed my skills enough to pass the road test at Rahway MVC. They were incredibly patient and kind when I asked questions or when I made a minor mistake. They even taught me a couple tricks when learning parallel parking and making wide turns. However, be sure to confirm your lessons with them via call before the date you request, for they seem busy constantly and may forget. For reference, I took a 2 hour practice lesson and bought the road test service package. All in all, worth the investment and you should definitely give this business a call!
