Fantastic experience: Passed my driver’s test today!!! Thanks to the help of Shawn. I was very nervous this time around having failed my first time. But thanks to Shawn he made me feel very comfortable and confident. Not coming from much I’ve had little experience behind the wheel, when I called Shawn he gave me a set time to show up and got me in the dmv as soon as possible, then took me around the course and helped me to ultimately pass, I will forever be grateful for the opportunity Shawn and his services have given me. Thank you, I would definitely suggest other people here very helpful and useful services!

Negative experience: Very rude. I called to inquire about using Shawn’s vehicle for a driving test and would require no lessons. Shawn stated the price would be $140, which was fine, I just wanted to understand the price breakdown because on the website it said lessons would be included and as stated, I don’t need any lessons. He proceeded to say it’s his vehicle and he doesn’t know me, but from my understanding, he’d doesn’t know ANY of the drivers requesting his services. I told him I would no longer be needing his services and he called me and proceeded to say “you’re getting me hot! I’m letting you use my $20,000 vehicle, I have a right to charge you that price! Look at my views! I’m the best person you’ll get in this town!” To which I responded “it’s my money and I don’t like your customer service before I even pay to use the your vehicle”. He then continued to talk over me and interrupt me before hanging up on me. I’m sure he’s been amazing to everyone else, but I will not be using his services or referring anyone else to him. Very nasty attitude towards a potential paying customer.

Fantastic experience: This man is the best and simplest driving instructor you can ask for. Being his student was great as he took his time and had patience with me. I’ve had no experience with driving in the past and in just 3 lessons I was able to pass my driving test with ease. I’ve had friends in the past who have also taken this driving academy and passed so he’s very reputable. Thanks again Shawn!

Fantastic experience: I was nervous about the amount of lessons I needed. I had two regular lessons and the third lesson was the day of the exam. I learned everything I needed for my exam and passed. Fantastic experience: IF I COULD GIVE SHAWN & FIRST PASS DRIVING SCHOOL 10 STARS I WOULD!!!!!!!!...... AMAZING!!!!!!!!!....I called, left a message and Shawn called back quickly, was very kind and courteous with an excellent display of professionalism and before I knew it I was getting a text saying my road test was scheduled for the very next day..... When Shawn came to pick me up his energy was vibrant and free flowing which helped me to be calm and relax my whole way through... Shawn went above and beyond to make sure I was well prepared to pass my road test.. One of the main reasons why I truly recommend Shawn and First Pass Driving School is without Shawn knowing just prior to walking out to meet him, I had gotten some disturbing news over the phone which any other time probably would've had me or anyone else for that matter too anxious and nervous to take the skills test. Fantastic experience: Parents … save yourself some gray hairs and headaches and use First Pass. Although my son had many hours on the road with us, I felt he needed an expert to fine tune his driving skills. Three lessons gave him all he needed to not only pass, but allow us to be comfortable with his experience level so he could drive independently right away!

Fantastic experience: Shawn is a great driving instructor! Shawn is very knowledgeable and patient and teaches real life driving skills and not just teaching to the test. We called First Pass a few years ago for our son and again just recently for our daughter. Both of our children felt very confident taking their drivers test and with their everyday driving after working with Shawn. Both of our children passed their First time taking the test. We highly recommend First Pass and Shawn for any driving instruction you may need.

Fantastic experience: We highly recommend Shawn and First Pass driving school! He made sure to teach our son all the basics, advanced, and out of the box driving rules and skills that our son will encounter on the road. He was able to explain angles and tips on parallel parking and driving that my son was able to understand and conceptualize. Each session, Shawn gave us notes that he took the time to write so we would know what our son needed to work on or a skill he had mastered. He also spent the morning with us as we chose to use his car for the road test and waited with us while my son got his license picture taken. It really was a beginning to end partnership that brought and will continue to bring all of us comfort and confidence as my son now hits the road!

I was looking for several driving schools and they practically force you to take several lessons that count approximately 500 but with this school if you really only need one lesson you can take it and you will get your license in just the first time.

Fantastic experience: Both me and my husband were super happy with First Pass Driving school, we feel very confident to drive now, we even got to go on the highway a couple of times before the driving test with our teacher Shawn. He was very pleased and calm to drive with, and took us to the driving test to practice the rout a couple of times before we went so we can really be ready. For a fairly new driver like me, he made everything quite simple, right from the parallel parking to Highway driving, he guided me at every step. For the test, parallel parking will always be a highlight (yes, I aced at it all because of him ) but Shawn made sure that I understand the real world driving, he explained not only the major aspects like controlling the speed, turning left or right but also smaller details like where to stop at the Stop sign or how to merge on a highway lane. I would be more than happy to recommend anyone, doesn’t matter at what level of driving skills you are, Shawn and First Pass Driving school is the place to go and ace the Test in the first attempt like me!

Fantastic experience: I recently hired Sean to teach my daughter to drive Mr. Sean not only taught her how to parallel park but to overcome her highway fear The cost was affordable, (takes payments) he also offers the use of his vehicle for driving exam (for a small extra fee&again payments) Mr. Sean is so recommendable I have 2 other children he is currently teaching. Call Sean you won't be disappointed

Shawn worked with her on multiple areas of driving, as well as in several situations that are more difficult to manage. Our daughter’s confidence grew after just the first of the three lessons with Shawn. I like that he teaches defensive driving and gives a lot of feedback on performance, as well as assigns “homework” to practice. Shawn is not only a great driving instructor, but a nice guy overall who is very organized and focused on the success and safety of new drivers.

We would see each other at school each morning as we were switching drivers ,one morning I shared my frustration about a driving schools lack of response. She recommended First pass. I called that afternoon and Shawn responded by end of day. And the experience was absolutely incredible! I thought I was doing a good job teaching Aiden, but after first lesson Aiden told me what he learned and I’ll be totally honest there were things I probably never would have thought of. Fantastic experience: My driving instructor is the best instructor I have ever had. From my very first lesson, he's been very friendly and patient with introducing me to the basics to understanding the more advanced techniques of driving. He even allows me to do extra practice on areas I had trouble in at the time(like parallel parking) and has been nothing less than encouraging and patient. He also goes out of his way to make sure I'm okay by making sure I arrive at the nearest bus station leading to my home and helping me get my things. I just passed my driving test today and Shawn was cheering for me the whole time. I would definitely recommend First Pass Driving School and Shawn!

Fantastic experience: First Pass is probably one of the best driving schools in the area. Shawn was a very thorough teacher, not just showing how to drive, but also going over tiny details in the art of driving. Overall, I highly recommend First Pass.
