Mr. Scott McCracken was my middle school earth sciences teacher, and I decided to avail of his services when the time was right. He is a highly trained and experienced professional who graduated from Westminster College with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and from California University of Pennsylvania with a masters degree in education. In addition, he is certified by the Pennsylvania Department of Education as a driver education instructor, elementary education teacher, and mid-level science teacher. He is the epitome of a good teacher in the way he combines expertise with patience. From his excellent ability to connect and communicate, you gain a better understanding of the driving concepts and what the next steps should be. Mr. McCracken takes his time to explain various maneuvers and rules. I highly recommend the McCracken Driving School to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, reliable, and patient instructor!

Negative experience: Teaches students road rage and aggressive driving. Flipped us off 5 times from the passenger seat after a honk from us due to a triple stop at a stop sign. Negative role model don’t go here if you are learning how to drive.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend the McCracken driving school. Mr. Sabin was an awesome instructor. He scheduled all lessons in advance always on time and professional. He goes beyond just learning the roads he teaches how to get out of certain situations, parking & parallel parking. He gave my daughter the confidence she needs to feel safe while driving. We also had Mr. Sabin take our daughter to her drivers test. He picked her up and went over the course and the parallel parking right before the test. Definitely worth the cost. Gives you peace of mind & savings on your car insurance. Overall a great experience will be doing this for my other children when they are ready to drive.

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience with McCracken Driving School. My instructor, Brian Lambert, is very knowledgeable and patient. His lessons were very thorough, focusing on controls and maneuvers as well as road rules. He gives constructive feedback and makes sure you know everything you need to know for the road test. On test day, Brian took me to the DMV an hour before my test to practice the course and parallel parking. I passed my road test on the first try and have become a more confident driver thanks to him! He played a huge role with her building confidence in her driving skills. After every lesson, Kris would discuss with me everything they had gone over and practiced. For her last lesson, he took her out in my car since she would be using it to take her test and I really think this helped to ease her nerves about the test! As soon as she passed her driving test she said “Mom make sure you text Kris and let him know I passed!” We will definitely be using McCracken driving school again when it’s time for my younger daughter to start lessons!

Fantastic experience: If you want your teenager to start off on the right foot, then McCracken driving school is a must. The instructor, Officer Sabin, was very thorough and knowledgeable. His instruction, will help your teenager to feel Confident and knowledgeable behind the wheel. In addition, will have them prepared for their driver’s license test by taking them on the actual course and providing tips. Lastly, if your child is having trouble parallel parking, after this course, they will no longer have trouble.

Fantastic experience: It’s not easy putting your child behind the wheel for the first time with a stranger. But, Brian did a wonderful job with eliminating our fears. He is a teacher with experience and it showed. He taught our son how to navigate the roads in a safe responsible manner. Brian him up for his final lesson and took him for his road test. I wasn’t sure if the lessons were needed, she’s been driving for almost a year, but the confidence she gained driving with him and doing the course and practicing parallel parking made all the difference. She went into her test with confidence and left with her license. Scott ali’s was very helpful with how to navigate insurance discounts. Wonderful experience. Highly recommend!!
