Fantastic experience: I am so excited to share that I passed my road test on the first attempt thanks to AllCare Driving School! I had the absolute pleasure of learning from Jonathan and it was the best experience. Prior to taking lessons, I had zero driving experience. I was very nervous and anxious to get behind the wheel. However, Jonathan was easily able to keep my anxieties at bay and build my confidence. I would begin most lessons nervous, but Jon’s humor would make it almost completely disappear. He was able to keep me calm, collected, and focused. Jon is patient, professional and makes things easier to understand. He clearly explains why things are done a certain way, which helps you understand and remember what to do when you’re on the road. Even on the days where I did not feel like I did my best, Jon was still able to point out my strengths and encouraged me that I would do better on my next lesson. I was able to learn tips that I see myself using regularly as a driver. On the day of my road test, I was so nervous but Jon was confident in my ability to pass, which further motivated me, and I ended up passing after all! He has every amazing quality you could ever ask for in an instructor, I highly recommend! Everyone in the office that I spoke to about scheduling and payment were also very helpful and kind. If you’re thinking about joining this school, do it - you won’t regret it! Thank you All Care Driving School!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with All Care Driving School and my instructor Jonathan, and I have Jonathan to thank for helping me pass my road test at the Hicksville test site today! I live in NYC and have been learning to drive there, but I found All Care Driving School after I managed to book a test slot at the Hicksville test site when there were no slots near NYC available. Jonathan is an excellent instructor who has the vital teaching qualities of being deeply knowledgeable, observant and patient. I’m very grateful to him for carefully highlighting all the things I should take note of, especially in terms of the nuances of the differences between driving in Queens and on Long Island. I also greatly appreciated his focus on the practical aspects of driving beyond just passing the road test (e.g. making sure I knew how to pump gas). The team at All Care Driving School was also very helpful and efficient in scheduling a road test package around the test slot that I booked. If you are an NYC-based learner reading this I would highly recommend that you consider this option of taking your test with All Care at Hicksville - it was a quick LIRR ride and Jonathan would pick me up at the train station.

Fantastic experience: Huge praise for All Care Driving School! Our driving instructor, Jonathan was excellent. Thorough, knowledgeable and very patient. His demeanor with teenagers is right on the mark as well. Office manager,Johana assisted with our lesson scheduling and was instrumental in getting the driving test date and location we needed. I will definitely call All Care Driving School (requesting Jonathan) when my other children turn 16.

Negative experience: Had my first driving lesson here with an instructor who was an elder man. I would not recommend. I am a beginner driver and have driving anxiety. He would make me nervous, would say things in a condescending, or “matter of fact” tone when I asked for explanation or clarification on something. I made ONE mistake — one that I looked up is the MOST common mistake that new drivers make and he’s definitely seen before. Instead of calmly correcting me he decided to yell at me, bring up the mistake throughout the rest of the lesson, and then say he was scared afterwards, even after I explained the mistake happened because of me being a beginner and also being pretty nervous (which he contributed to). All he did was make me more anxious than needed and uncomfortable by not being patient and by being overly dramatic when I made that mistake. Not helpful whatsoever. EDIT: this school is very unprofessional. I never had the chance to get a lesson with my second instructor. I cancelled my lesson because I wasn’t feeling well and I rescheduled my lesson for the following day, called the school TWICE. The school completely NO CALLED NO SHOWED me, and that’s why I got a complete refund from them. And instead of being apologetic for literally not showing up for my lesson, they post this. They also did not pick up my calls when they no called no showed me until the NEXT day. Think twice before booking them.

Negative experience: Instructors would show up either too early or too late. Would blatantly criticize driving but would not offer constructive criticism or advice on how to improve. Car was dirty, had weird music playing in it which made it hard to concentrate at all (horror music with screaming). Switched instructors today in hope the experience would be better but it was even worse. This instructor would pick up my phone calls and yell at the person calling me that I was in a class. Utterly unprofessional and disgusting display of behavior from someone who is supposed to be an instructor. Invasion of privacy as she picked my own phone call to yell at the person calling me. Then tried to justify herself by saying it could possibly be an emergency, but seeing as she already told me who was calling me, I knew it wasn’t an emergency. Additionally, she would always be pressing on the break, not even allowing me to make a stop at a stop sign by myself. While on the way back home, she tells me not to follow the gps and makes us go in a circle. Then she asks why we’re going in a circle and I say because you told me not to follow the gps. Overall, horrible display of professionalism. I felt I was more professional as an 18 year old girl compared to these so called instructors.

Fantastic experience: I had little to no prior experience driving when I first got my permit as I had been fearful and reluctant to start driving, it was when my permit about to expire that to look for a driving school to make the most of how little time I had left to use it. I found and picked All Care for their affordable lesson plans, I signed up for just 5 lessons and with the help of my instructor, Jonathan, I managed to pass the road test on my first attempt. The lessons worked around my time and Jon was able to make the lessons enjoyable with actually useful information. I had so many questions going in and I left with all of them answered to the fullest. My only problem was some technical issues when trying to join the online class for the 5 hour pre-licensing course, but that was quickly solved after some troubleshooting on both ends. Would highly recommend, and I suggest you try to ask for Jonathan as your instructor (the one almost everyone in the reviews writes about).

Fantastic experience: Choosing to take lessons at all care was the best decision I made to pass my road test and I couldn’t have gotten any instructor better than Jonathan. Getting in the car with Jon made me feel confident and he made me feel safe knowing he wouldn’t let anything go wrong. He gives amazing tips on how to ace the road test and repetition is key in the process. He goes in depth on signaling, perception, speed, observing, parallel parks, 3-point turns and all you need to know for the test on the get go, all of which I had zero confidence doing before but perfected after just 10 lessons. Jon is super sweet, nice to talk to and always stays calm if mistakes are made. I also took my 5 hour pre-licensing course in person here but the instructor made it fun and engaging and you get a lot more out of it than what most people might tell you about the road. Overall, I had a lovely experience with the school and with Jon and thanks to that, I got a great score on my road test on the first go! I’d highly recommend all care to anyone who’s considering driving lessons and ask for Jonathan!

I looked in my area for a driving school and found All Care Driving School which has an excellent rating. I chose the one lesson before road test and Jonathan was my instructor. Jon really prepared me for the road test and I do not believe I could have done it as well without him. I definitely recommend him to future drivers looking for an instructor.

Fantastic experience: I got my license last week! After trying to learn for what felt like ages I finally invested the time and money into All Care and definitely saw a worthy return on my investment . I had Jonathan and I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend him. As someone with a general aversion to middle-aged men, I did not think we would get along, much less become friends. Jonathan is a super cool guy and is very chill and not judgmental or rude at all. I have heard horror stories of girls going to other driving schools in Nassau County and feeling like their male instructors were weird or creepy. If you have had that problem, I would recommend All Care. They are very trustworthy, and you will feel safe with them. In the weeks that Jonathan was my instructor, I never dreaded any of my lessons or wanted to cancel them. And now I can drive! Thank you Jonathan for helping me get my ticket to freedom :)
