Fantastic experience: At 23 i’m just now getting my license and Im so glad I chose Kenny Company. I had a test set up with Laura and unfortunately didn’t pass the car inspection, but laura was super understating and helpful and gave me Steve’s card in order to work something else out. Steve was very nice and understanding and I ended up driving with him today (9/25/24) and he was so nice to drive with!

Fantastic experience: Look no further! This is the place you want. I was in a pinch and needed to complete my road test in a very limited window, I explained my situation to the owner and he made provisions to come in on his day off to insure I made my deadline. Mind you he does not know me from any Tom Dick or Harry He went above and beyond something you don't see anymore today also was very pleasant and professional thru out the testing.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing place to go for your road test. I was extremely nervous but he definitely knows how to calm people down to do their best. If you have any questions he doesn't mind helping you out. He doesn't get frustrated at all he let's you take your time to regroup. I would definitely recommend going to do your road test here

Fantastic experience: After trying to find somewhere to take a cycle license test I’m so glad I found Kenny company. Steve got me in the same week that I called and was a great tester, encouraging and helpful. I would recommend him to anyone.

There was no point during the test where I was confused she talked to me during the whole time they kind of ease my nerves which helped a lot and thankfully, I passed on my first try if you have a test to take I highly highly highly recommend this place and if you go with you have nothing to worry about.

Fantastic experience: I’m writing this 5 ⭐️ review just after my son FAILED his driving test. Laura is amazing! He didn’t pass the parking, so didn’t even get a chance at the road test. She offered him tips on parking and allowed him to practice several times. She gave him great guidance and encouragement, so when he comes back in a couple weeks, he’ll nail the test! My son and I appreciate her help so much! Thank you!

Negative experience: Not a positive experience! Made my son extremely nervous. Don’t explain at all where to park or how many points you need to get. A dumpy parking lot. Fail you when you did good on parking and then give you no feedback. Just tell you to rebook so they can take more money.

Fantastic experience: This company was amazing and really good to my son my son was very nervous and steve seemed to do really well to calm him. We even had an issue of our registration flying out the window and we had an appointment set with them so I had look online to see if I can get me an appointment for the Secretary of State to get a replacement and they couldn't get me in until close to my appointment time with Kenny company. I called Steve told him what was going on what happened and he was very understanding and actually let us go ahead and take care of getting the registration and push appointment up to a little bit later time that same day so my son can take that test. Which most places would charge you if you had to change an appointment he did not he was very understanding he was a very nice guy and my son said he felt very comfortable with him in the car. I would recommend this company to anyone if anybody ever asked where is the best place to go. I also had to get an appointment in pretty quick somewhere everyone was booked out month to two months out because I needed my son to get his license ASAP because I am taking a trip soon and I need him and my daughter to be able to get back for it to work while I'm gone so Steve just made it possible for my son to be able to help me out while I go to Florida and help my grandma moved to Michigan. So again as I said very very good people. Put it this way I live way up North 1 half hours away just take my son down there for the test to get him in because everyone was so far booked out but I am so glad that I picked him and I would tell anyone if they lived a distance away this company is definitely worth the drive

Fantastic experience: I’ve now had 2 teens take their driving tests here and both had positive experiences. Laura was both of their instructor and her ability to put them at ease and to give constructive guiding was amazing. She’s also very kind and easy to be with. Online sign up is easy and we got in relatively quickly. I have referred them to my friends.

Negative experience: LOOK ELSE WHERE FOR ROAD TESTING!!!!!!. Steve is a horrible business owner who is money hungry. He questioned me about having to reschedule my appointment a day before because I was sick, which is out of my control. His words were, “You don’t sound sick.” This company is unprofessional and rude! They will charge you an additional fee of fifty dollars along with the road test fee of eighty dollars. When I asked him why I was being charged the extra fifty dollars, he had no clear explanation. It’s all about the dollar with them. Furthermore, these hidden fees aren’t on the website.

The cone parking test is not a breeze, you need to know what you are doing and listen to instructions. I highly recommend this company.

Fantastic experience: I can't give a high enough review for Kenney Company. We moved from California to Michigan right before my son was able to take his test in California. We went to the Secretary of State to get my son set up to take the driving test in Michigan and were told something different every time we went in for an appointment. Steve went above and beyond expectations to contact the correct people at the Secretary of State to educate them on the appropriate rules and regulations. Without Steve's knowledge and perseverance my son would have had to wait another 6 months to get his license. If you or your child are ready to take their driving test, look no further than this company, especially if you are coming from out of state as Steve is an absolute expert in his knowledge of the State's rules/regulations.

Fantastic experience: I would definitely recommend taking your road test with the company Kenney Company I took my road test with Laura, she is an amazing person she walks you though everything before hand and talks to you about what you need to work on after words and she is really nice and welcoming you don’t get the feeling of being nervous or anxious around her. I 100% recommend going through this company!!!!!

Negative experience: Laura has now failed my fiancee 3 times over 18 months by claiming automatic fails on each test, complete waste of money will not be going back.

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience with setting up the appointment, reminder texts on what to prepare for the day of -etc. When we arrived Laura was friendly and welcoming. She gave a run down of the plan and what to expect for the test. During the road test she was helpful, calm and approached any driving related improvements from a teaching and learning perspective. All around impressed with her professionalism and welcoming demeanor during a milestone experience for my son. Would recommend.

He was responsive to any questions we had while booking the appointment, before taking the test and he provided a full overview of everything needed to complete the process.

Fantastic experience: I came here for my drivers test 6 years ago and knew coming back would be the right choice when my husband needed to take his test. He just moved to the US and doesn’t speak much English, but Steve went above and beyond with his Spanish knowledge to give him a great testing experience. He made him feel calm and gave great advice. My husband didn’t pass the first time, but Steve went got us back in asap and he passed the second time. I barely had to interpret for them because Steve knew so much Spanish!

Fantastic experience: I recently took my road test with Steve and it was truly a wonderful experience! I originally scheduled with another person who unfortunately wasn't able to make it, but Steve made it right and took over her tests, worked around my schedule to reschedule my appointment, and provided a very comfortable, friendly, easy going test. Fantastic experience: I highly recommend! Very kind and caring people. I have had four children go there over the years. I feel that they all left knowing more about driving than when they arrived. After the test Steve took a fair amount of time with us explaining the events during the test.

Since before of the test I explained him that my first language was spanish and that when I was nervous it was harder for me to understan english, He was very patience making sure that I understood every indication that he gave me.

Steve worked with my schedule, booked my appointment for the next day, and Laura was professional, courteous, encouraging, and extremely thoughtful in making sure I understood the test directions. Fantastic experience: I would recommend this site to anyone and everyone, they have some of the best instructors I have had the privilege of encountering. I was in and out of there in no time at all. Laura was so positive that it made me feel like i wasnt taking a test and that i was just out for a drive. Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Kenney Learn to Drive! My son took his road test yesterday. He took it before with another company that was rude, impatient , and downright horrible. Took me months to build his confidence back up. Steve was the complete opposite. Understood my sons anxiety level and put him at ease from the word go. Was so encouraging and brought out his confidence. My son passed his test and was able to listen with the respect level he needed to learn how to be an even better driver. Highly HIGHLY recommend. Will he going way out of my way to bring my daughter in for segment 2 and her road test in the coming months. You can’t do better than this company right here for your teen driving needs! Negative experience: I had a fever and thought it was COVID so my daughter called to cancel and they told her she could reschedule. When she tried to reschedule they said she had to do it online and pay again. They did not communicate that she would lose $70 by rescheduling. And when I called to clarify nobody would call me back. Worst customer service I’ve experienced in a long time.

My son talked about how he calmed him down during his road test, just by talking to him. He talked about his experience through our celebratory lunch upon him passing his test. He spoke with me (mom) in-depth afterwards and praised my son not only about the road test but about other aspects that are going on in his life. Very valuable information. He is a gem and very personable and good at his job. I just want to say thank you again Steve! My review would be the same had he not passed his test the transparency and honesty was amazing. Negative experience: I usually never EVER write a bad review but this needed attention. I had the driving test scheduled for some time prior to it. A whole week before the test I had an issue. I tried to get in contact almost every day for the whole week before my test and it was impossible to speak with them. The only time I got an answer was the morning of the test in which I was not able to reschedule at all and they took my 70$ with no refund. 70$ for a test I didn’t even take… on the other hand, I called Renaissance company the same day and they easily made the changes I needed and was able to get an appointment the same week (HIGHLY RECOMMEND RENAISSANCE COMPANY). I even passed the test with no problem when I took it with renaissance. If you do schedule with Kenney company, just know It’s pretty much impossible to reschedule. So if you do end up going, make sure you have no unpredictable issues that may happen before the test.

Fantastic experience: I am a single Father, and sometimes it's tough to let go, to let your children slowly become adults. My oldest son recently took his driver's test at Kenney Company, Steve, the owner, administered the test. Sadly, my son did not pass the parallel parking, so, he could not take the road test. The amazing and heart warming part of the whole experience was Steve. This kind and generous man actually took the time to work with my son after he didn't pass. I was so blown away and emotional that he would actually do that. In today's world a man like this rarely exists. I am so greatful that Steve is out there helping young people to be great drivers. His heart is in the right place, and, he wants with all his heart to have his students pass, and be successful drivers. How lucky I am, and my son is, to have him be part of his driving experience.

Fantastic experience: I took my test on nov 9’22 with Steve. Scheduling process was very smooth, we got call back within 24 hrs. and all details taken in single phone call and appointment was confirmed. Steve explained complete test process and evaluation guidelines at the beginning of test and shared feedback to improve driving further at the end of test which helped a lot. I was little nervous in the beginning but they make you calm and comfortable, gives clear instructions and is very professional. They have a pretty decent office and testing space, will recommend this facility any day.
