Fantastic experience: Good school just don't like that if you miss an appointment you have to pay again. Keep in mind most of thier customer base are teenagers. Lost 60 dollars due to my daughter not showing up on time had to pay again to reschedule.

Fantastic experience: Benavides Driving School is the place to be. I highly recommend anyone who is wanting to take driving lessons or take their driving test, go to this driving school. The instructors are very patient with you and they will teach you everything you need to do. These are the type of instructors that want you to pass your driving test and the type of instructors that every driving school should have. I would also like to take this time to thank the driving instructors for teaching me the safe ways of driving and being able to pass my driving test. Fantastic experience: To Nancy Daves...it's not just the "experience" that will get you to pass a licensing exam but the QUALITY of the experience that YOU bring to the licensing exam. To "hello"...there are 4 ways of failing the licensing exam and you were advised of them before the exam...BY MEANS OF POINT DEDUCTION, ANY VIOLATION OF THE LAW, ANY DANGEROUS ACT or ANY TYPE OF A COLLISION. You sir, failed yourself due to ignorance. By the way the licensing exam is 65 dollars and not 60.00. I advise anyone wanting to take a licensing exam to prepare themselves in advance for it. The worst enemy of someone taking a licensing exam is NOT the examiner but the BAD driving habits or lacking the knowledge for it. At Benavides Driving School Mr. Olivares will do things by the book.

Fantastic experience: Went here as an adult with a full time job as DPS only opens weekdays and close early, They got good flexible hours to fit everyone's needs and make things simple and hassle free. They teach, do driving lessons and do the driving exam. 5 stars would strongly recommend they made getting my license simple. Good price, good quality service.

Negative experience: One little mistake you make they will fail you, they don’t do the test legally. I went to Driving Zone & they did it the legal way (I also looked up driving test laws in Texas) where you get a score & get at least 70 to pass. Please be ware its $60 to take it & then another $25 to take it again.

Fantastic experience: Today was my last day at Benavides driving school in Mcallen and all I can say is that it is a great driving school with amazing instructors. Mr.Olivarez was my course teacher and he was always professional and educational. This driving school does not only prioritizes education but also safety. Negative experience: The reason i give it a low rating is because of the front desk ladies. So unprofessional, they seem as if they don't know what theyre doing. One told me something while the other said something else. One seems so judgmental too. when looking for our files it seems as if they couldn't find it at first, guess theyre not that organized? Also when we werent sure about what bundle we had purchased or sure what to do afterwards they werent any help, seemed as if they didnt even know what the bundles had. Thought it would be in our files. Other than that the teacher in class we took was amazing.. he sure does enjoy his job unlike the ladies.
