Negative experience: i was supposed to have lessons at the 233rd location but they never show up on time or they just don’t show up at all i want a refund but they not picking up the phone i only received 1 out of 4 lessons i was supposed to have 3 by now.

Fantastic experience: My instructor for the most part was José. He was patient and kind. I appreciate all the effort he put into getting me ready for the road test. I come from a place of fear so I really needed someone with a lot of patience to teach me from scratch. And they came through for me. Yasmine was very kind and knowledgeable as well. Help me through all the scheduling and reminders.

Fantastic experience: My experience was an amazing and well learned accomplishment thanks to the staff in On-Time Driving School Inc, I’m greatful for all the steps that I took that was giving in order to finish another goal on my list. I will gladly recommend anybody that is looking for any driving class license to indeed try On-Time Driving School Inc for success.

Fantastic experience: I already have a license in a different country, but need to get mine here in New York. On Time offers different lesson packages depending on your needs. For my particular case, I just needed a pre-licensing course (done via zoom) and two practice sessions. The instructors are great, they pick you up for each session, tell you what to look out for and teach you techniques for your road test. The only issue I had was probably a miscommunication; was told I would be at Yonkers site for my road test but it ended up being at Riverdale. Overall would recommend to anyone in the Bronx area looking for a driving school.

Fantastic experience: I had different instructors at first which was very confusing learning techniques and trying to memorize it when I was getting instructions from different people each time. I finally decided to book with only one person, Edicson. He was absolutely amazing. Very calm and patient with me. He had me parking 10 x better in only 2, half hour classes. He was willing to spend a few more minutes with me if I needed it and cheered me on each time he saw me improving. I would highly recommend to future drivers that are look for help. He was also prompt and ready, always on time. I guess that’s why they called it ON TIME Don’t hesitate to use ON Time driving and ask for Edicson.

Positive experience: Passed my road test in Yonkers after taking 10 lessons with this school! The instructors are really nice and understanding, and I meshed well with most of them. I wish I would’ve reserved lessons with one instructor, as having multiple instructors was stressful as they’d teach me very different ways to parallel park and to drive during the road test, but for the most part I learned what I needed just fine. Only had some issues with instructors showing 20-30 minutes late or to the wrong pickup spot :( But I got the full lesson time I paid for which was good. The receptionists that I spoke to on the phone was very helpful, and for the price you pay this is a great driving school!!!

Fantastic experience: Great service. Always easy to schedule or change my driving appointments. I liked my instructors , Perla and Jhesson were great, very patient and knowledgeable. I passed the first time I took the test!

Fantastic experience: The people at On Time Driving School were so helpful and kind to me. I am a very nervous driver. So nervous I had to add classes to my package just to get use to driving. Each instructor I have came across were so patient, funny, and informative. Everything I learned I applied to my road test. And I never would have thought that I, a very nervous driver, would pass on my first try. Thank you so much!

Negative experience: I may be from a different generation, but common courtesy and professionalism is lacking at this place. I’ve dealt with the same person several times over the phone and it always seems like she’s happier not being there. I get it, we all have bad days, but keep your attitude at home. Nobody cares for it. One of the instructors were good and the other gave old tips regarding how to drive, none of which are in practice anymore. Oh, and don’t ever try to talk when the person on the phone is speaking because you will be hung up on. The customer asking questions is apparently too much for her to handle because she needs to talk at all times. Anyway, enjoy your “lessons” here.

Fantastic experience: I was recommended to this driving school by a friend & truthfully it has been the best experience. I’ve never driven a day in my life& bought the 10 lesson package. I had Perla as an instructor for most of my lessons & she was honestly the best ! She made me feel comfortable & confident. For my last lesson before my road test I had Omareo as an instructor & he also was very great ! He gave me some pointers on parking, so it was great having two ways of parking from two different people. I loved How the instructors boosted my confidence & kept rooting me on telling me how I will pass road test because they believed in me. I passed My road test on the first try !! Thank you to Perla & Omareo. I highly highly recommend this school for lessons & these two instructors.

Positive experience: I had a very bad experience with Mildred. For my first lesson with her she came an hour late; the second lesson she canceled last minute, and for other ones she didn't show up at all nor tell me that she's not coming. However, I would like to thank Joseph, Jean Carlos, and my favorite instructor Willie!!! I only had two lessons with him but they were very enjoyable. He told me everything I did wrong and he gave me confidence that I'll pass the driving exam, and I did yesterday!!! I was very sad to hear that he's no longer teaching because I would've recommended him to anyone I know. I heard Joseph isn't an instructor at this school either, but don't worry Jean Carlos was also good. He'll also make sure that you'll pass the exam. Thank you again for everything OnTime Driving School! I'll be back for the highway lessons, and maybe for a couple of more road lessons just to gain more confidence while driving. -Dennis Borodin

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend OnTime Driving School. I had Jean Carlos as my instructor for most of my lessons and he is top notch! He actually told me everything I was doing wrong on the road, unlike the last driving school I went to. I started out as a very nervous driver, but by the last lesson was very confident and passed my road test easily. OnTime cares about actually teaching you how to drive and putting good, safe drivers on the road.

Fantastic experience: I passed the road test the first time! Mildred was my instructor and she was awesome. She was calm, helpful and informative during all of my lessons. Not once did I feel any anxiety while driving. I recommend OnTime to anyone who wants to learn how to drive. Ask for Mildred as your instructor!

Fantastic experience: My experience at on time was amazing I had three different instructors and they all were amazing. I started off with piera “I don’t remember how to pronounce her name she was great and very patient. Then I had Willy,who was my second instructor and also my cheerleader I love him omg ,I forgot my third instructor name because I only had him a day but,he was great also. I was going to a driving school before then but I failed my first test because my instructor took my money and thought me nothing. On time staffs thought me how to drive in one week and I past my road test also I was very confident after working with these people.

Fantastic experience: The places provides great prices! the office staff was well organized. I was a new driver with zero experience and the instructors were knowledgeable, professional and patient with me. I appreciate that a lot! and most importantly I passed my road test on the first try!

Fantastic experience: Amazing school. Amazing instructions. Had the pleasure of having Willie as my instructor and he made the experience that much more enjoyable and comfortable. I would suggest anyone to request him, if possible. The school also did a great job at communicating with me and rescheduling any time there was an issue. The lady advised me it would take awhile to be able to schedule because of covid but that wasn’t the case at all. Glad to say in less than 2 months, I have passed my test and will be on the road ASAP.

Negative experience: For starters, On Time Driving isn’t very On Time. Some other students and I got a text saying to meet at the school at 8:30 am for our test. We waited 30 mins and then they finally came. The other students had an appointment at 9 am with the DMV and we went to the driving site after 9. When it was our turn, the two ladies I was with was able to take my test. Mildred told me that I have to wait all over again and go to the back of the line because I was skipped. I am not a student at the school, all I needed was the car for the exam. She sent me with another On Time Driving school and left me there with no ride back to the school. I didn’t use the car I paid for. Also, I wasn’t spoken to the whole time. Mildred was on her phone making calls. She spoke to the spanish speaking student in spanish about what’s going on with DMV. Didn’t even translate anything back to me. I had to figure out on my own that DMV will no longer tell us if we Pass or Fail until after 6pm. So the key points is me not being treated equally, not using the car I PAID for, their professional is garbage and just save your coins. I would like a refund for the car I DIDNT USE. Thank you for absolutely nothing. As a response to there’s. Number one, again theirs no communication. No one explained to me the process. No one said that I wasn’t allowed to take the test because of the DMV rule. If you guys knew that, you would’ve said the reason behind me not being able to take my test at that time. Mildred said I can’t take it as I was already in the car and ready. Number 2, Mildred told the other spanish speaking student about the 6pm rule in spanish. Again, why wasn’t it interpreted back to the 2 english speaking students? Number 3, if I wanted to book a car from your other driving school site I would’ve. Google is free and I picked yours for a reason. So, you saying that still doesn’t make it any better that I paid to use YOUR car. Not another car with lose brakes. Number 4, where’s the explanation about your employee making long distances calls with boss revolution instead of doing her job. I’m not sure calls on the job is professional. Number 5, again you guys did nothing for me. Thanks for making that clear with y’all response. Have blessed day.

Fantastic experience: My experience with OT Driving School was phenomenal. My instructor Willy was a positive, reassuring and trustworthy. Fantastic experience: From the moment you walk into the office, greetings of professionalism and a positive attitude are instant. Also, the instructors I had the pleasure of being taught by, Anthony and Juan, were very informative, kind, patient, understandable and their professionalism was extraordinary. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner Jose who's attitude and professionalism was beyond outstanding. In conclusion, I am grateful for the confidence they all installed in me; a positive outlook when taking this Exam. I Passed on my first try!!!!! Fantastic experience: This is a great and safe school. I will continue to solicit their services even after they have help me prep and trained I to pass the NYS Road test for the states driver's license. I had three great teachers from this school, especially Joseph. Under his consistent tutelage, I was able to categorize efficiently what were my areas of strength and improvements. To sum up the experience so far, quite fruitful. I deeply appreciate he and the other instructors conscientious safe approach to teaching. Not to mention, the 5-hour course required by the state, was also conducted by Mr.V, in a professional safe manner. The information presented help I prepare for success on the day of the road test. And I admit, has been the best 5 hour class I took ever out of the three I have in the past years. The office staff are also prompt and supportive to all the needs of service. Fantastic experience: OMG! I took my road test this morning at Riverdale and am still excited. I couldn’t believe I can pass on the first try. Kudos to my instructor, Deivy. He is so patient with me and made sure I learn all the rules. I gave all credits to him because he gave me confidence on driving and taught me how to be a safe & good driver. Also, everybody told me parallel parking is really hard, but Deivy made it so easy. He would teach you step by step and have an easier way to remember it, so end up I nailed the parking in the road test and never hit the curb. I would DEFINITELY recommend this driving school to all my friends or everybody. If you have a choice, just pick Deivy because he is really patient to his students and made the driving less stressful.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this driving school. I had failed my driving test a few times prior to coming here and was discouraged with driving from that experience. But working with both Mildred and Louis helped me to grasp the small mistakes other driving schools did not point out. Mildred was really sweet, made me feel comfortable behind wheel and paid attention to my driving. Fantastic experience: Hands down to the BESSSSTTT driving school EVER. Before i came here, I thought I was never gonna be able to drive, but as soon as i took the first class, i knew i was on the right place. The girl on the front desk is a sweetheart, she will make sure the lessons fit your schedule and will try to accommodate you. And you HAVE TO, like you MUST have Joseph as your instructor, for at least one lesson, if he’s schedule is too pack and you are in a hurry. He taught me how to park on a heartbeat, he makes sure you understand every step, and makes you feel really confident while driving, at all times. I JUST PASSED MY TEST ON THE FIRST TRY Y’ALLLL!!!!

Fantastic experience: Joseph is hands down the best instructor I have ever had the fortune to work with. I had a traumatic experience with this road test before and I lost my confidence in driving a car in NYC. If not for my husband, I wouldn't even have pursued to get a license. But Joseph made me feel relaxed and every day after my classes, i would receive a honest feedback from him, the first one being "RELAX, CALM DOWN. YOU GOT THIS!!!". I pestered and annoyed him too much on the day of the test but he was composed and answered all my questions. I passed the test and all Thanks to Joseph. Fantastic experience: I LOVE THIS PLACE! The staff here is incredible especially SORIBEL LENDOF! She is the absolute sweetest!! She helped me a lot through the entire process and I really appreciated her. The instructors are very patient and clear during their lessons. I worked with Joseph and Gregory and they are both great! I can literally never screw up my parking because of how Joseph taught me! He's amazing. Gregory might come off as a major dork but he knows what he's doing so try and look passed his corny jokes because you will PASS the road test with him as your instructor guaranteed! I actually formed a bond with this place because the school feels more like your own personal support system. I'm happy I passed my road test but I will definitely miss those dorks!

I tried with Ruthie oneday, but I prefer Joseph, because he is a very nice person and he explain everything so nicely. He was so patient with me, because i made so many mistakes and he would never get upset, instead he would show me the correct way..... They call to update you on the dates of your lessons followed by a text message and are attentive to your needs! I purchased the bundle/package which consisted of (1)5 hour class, 4 lessons, Road Test arrangements, & the loan of the school’s car. Additionally, I added a few more lessons to ensure I was ready to go and would pass with flying colors. I’d recommend On Time to anyone interested in passing their test successfully in the correct way in the right timing! Fantastic experience: Before On Time Driving School, I was enrolled in another school and I did not have the best experience. After 3 years I decided to re-enroll in a driving school and thanks to google reviews I chose On Time Driving School. My instructor was Joseph and he’s amazing. He instantly makes you feel comfortable by making conversation during the lesson. After my last driving experience I lost my confidence to drive but thanks to Joseph’s way of teaching I regained it. Joseph never gave up on me and thanks to that I was able to finally pass my road test. Lastly, never doubt his advice when it comes to driving because the man was never wrong.

The place overall was accommodating to my schedule so when I had to change a class there was never an issue and I really liked their bundle package. Because of a job relocation I learned about last minute, I was going to need to learn how to drive and be able to drive to a different part of the US by may. I took 15 classes with joseph and couldn't be happier. Passed the exam for my license yesterday and I feel pretty good about my driving. He's been doing it a while and he knows how to get you good behind the wheel. I cannot give a strong enough recommendation of this driving school and joseph in particular.

Fantastic experience: I had absolutely 0 driving experience before I signed up for driving classes at On Time Driving School. My instructor was Joseph, he was the best hands down. I failed my road test the first time and continued taking lessons with him afterwards. He taught me everything I needed to know for my road test. I took my road test the second time and passed it easily! If anyone is planning on taking driving lessons in this school pick Joseph as your instructor. Fantastic experience: Passed my first time today with Joseph. Took 10 lessons 45 minutes and they were the best lessons ever. Both my aunt and sister passed with him. Joseph is a funny and enjoyable person. When your having fun time flies and that happened every lesson. Highly recommend getting lessons with Joseph!!!

Fantastic experience: I booked the 4 lesson package with Joseph and it was the perfect learning experience! Joseph is friendly, funny, informative, and really wants you to learn. Prices are very fair for the quality of lessons you’re getting. Practicing driving in the same car you take the test in really helps getting ready for the big day. 10/10, after four lessons I passed the road test on the first try! On Time really builds driver confidence!

Negative experience: Very unprofessional and disorganized staff. Driver was late every lesson came smelling like weed a few time. One time came with a flat tire used my time during the lesson to fix it. Canceled a lesson on the same day but i lose my money if i cancel. One instructor was late to picking me up for my five hour course then she was texing and speeding almost crashed. When i had my appoitment for my road test i was at the office at 9 am they called me at 930 to remind me of my test when i said im sitting in your office the lady was confused then asked me if i had my certificate they had at there other office so finally when my driver get to me we have to go to the other office to get my paper to then go to my road test which was at 945 which we were late for had to sit and wait. I called about cancelling lessons and to get a refund the lady transferred me all over said she didnt know how to do it was very rude and hung up on me had to call my bank to file the claim. One of the drivers also told my friend she was hired from craigslist and cancelled a lesson one day because she had to go to court about her license so think twice before booking with these people.

Fantastic experience: I purchase my package that included 10 lessons,5 hour class and road test appointment.I took all my lessons with Ruthie. She truly is amazing and very knowledgeable.She made me a confident driver and most importantly a safe one.My hardest challenge in the past has been parallel parking.However, she has this parking technique that is so easy to learn and so effective! She guides you in all the steps needed to pass your road test and how to become a safe driver.I was able to pass my road test only my first try! I’m so glad I chose on time driving school and Ruthie as my instructor! You should too if you are looking for an easy and effective way to learn how to drive .

Fantastic experience: I WISH I could give this driving school 10 STARS. It looks like a little whole in the wall, but it’s honestly the ONLY place you should consider to get your driving lessons! I did plenty of research and requested Joseph because of all his high reviews. I lived too far for the pick-up service, but I did not regret waking up and commuting over an hour and a half to this place. It was completely worth it! LET ME TELL YOU: JOSEPH IS THE AWESOMEST INSTRUCTOR YOU COULD EVER WANT AND YOU WILL NOT REGRET LEARNING FROM HIM. And his wife JENNY IS THE MOST HILARIOUS, FRIENDLY, YET PROFESSIONAL OFFICE STAFF MEMBER THERE. I got my permit a while back and kept putting off my driving education and on my first day in the car I was a nervous wreck! But Joseph’s friendliness, instruction, guidance, advice, and humor kept me sane. He’s the kind of person who’s very invested in his student drivers and wants to see them pass. In fact, he has the highest passing rate in the facility. They all know EXACTLY what the DMV tests for and Joseph really works wonders on your psyche, confidence, and novice driving skills. He also had patience for all my questions, even when I repeated them. I purchased a package with him at around $305 (my student discount helped too) and within my timing of two months, I PASSED MY ROAD TEST ON THE FIRST ATTEMPT TODAY! The package I purchased came with six lessons, the 5-hour course, a road test appointment, and the car for the road test. They are extremely on top of everything and always call to confirm any appointment. I love them and THANK On Time Driving School TREMENDOUSLY! I’m hoping to schedule my highway lesson soon with them. PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE ON THIS DRIVING SCHOOL, pick this one and I promise you will be prepared well enough to earn a license!

I had never driven a car before soo ofcourse I was freaking out & all kinds of nervous! However Joseph was soooo patient, caring, straight forward, educated & alert that he made me feel at ease. Fantastic experience: Joseph, the driving instructor is amazing! He’s super patient, knowledgeable and very easy going, which definitely helped me feel way less nervous as I was learning to drive. The office staff is very helpful and attentive, and always call back/follow up when they say they will. They also send text/email/phonecall appointment reminders :) I passed my test on my first try, all thanks to the help and support I got from On Time. I absolutely recommend this driving school and am grateful for the freedom I now have to go wherever I want! P.S. —the lesson packages don’t expire which was very convenient for me because my work and school schedule often times got in the way of my learning to drive. I had previously purchased a package from a different school and I feel like I didn’t get my money’s worth because I never finished my lessons before the package expired.

Fantastic experience: I just passed my road test! I've had my license before and used to drive for different companies driving trucks and work vans but it's been over 10 yrs since my license was active. I have to give credit to my instructor Joseph who gave me the perfect refresher to remind me what the instructors look for. As far as On Time generally, all was great. Jenny in the office was super informative & professional, everything about my experience was professional. Highly recommend.
