Negative experience: The instructors at this school are good, but the owner is a HORRIBLE person. He shouted and disrespected me on several occasions without really a need to. If you try to talk to him about anything he will belittle you. Go here if you don't have any other option but no one should be paying this place for the disrespect they have to bear

Fantastic experience: If you want to pass your road test on the first try, I definitely recommend this driving school! I purchased a 12-lesson package, and I feel like it was just right for me to learn key skills and become more comfortable behind the wheel. I tried out two other driving schools prior to TLG, and I can confidently say that Eugene was the best instructor I’ve worked with! He is very patient, positive, encouraging, and helpful. I do think the office can work on a few things, such as efficient communication with the students. For example, I was waiting for my instructor one day and I had to call three times before I got a hold of the office to tell the lesson was cancelled because of the weather. However, I am very happy with my experience overall. I was able to pass the road test on my first try and was confident during the exam.

Negative experience: Nobody at this school knows how to communicate well. In the driving lessons, they don’t have the patience to teach you why you are wrong. They only say this is wrong. Also, there were no precise instructions about how to pull out, pull over, intersection maneuvers, etc. Avoid at all costs!

Positive experience: Most of the instructors are nice. Didn't consistently have the same instructor. The owner (older Haitian man) gave me about 2 lessons and yelled at me the majority of the time. It's not my fault he has a thick accent and I had to ask him to repeat himself. The yelling made me nervous. Went to the road test with him and the woman at the front desk accidentally forgot to give me my ID (she also blamed that on me despite me giving her my 5hr class in an envelope and my id, she returned the envelope but without my ID) before we left the office so he yelled at me and someone brought had to bring it to us. I didn't pass my test and I guess he could tell because that was the only time he was moderately quiet. He is very lucky I'm not the type to yell, curse or carry on. I basically sat quietly while he was rude. Would not recommend if you have to deal with him.

The support from the owner is outstanding he make sure he evaluates you before your for the test date and he is very honest about your performance and will guide you how to correct your mistakes and very detailed on the requirements I. find him professionally because if you listen to him you will pass because the examiner are looking for specific things to pass or fail you. The instructors are great too they will gave you all the skills you needed to pass the test and become a safe driver on the road. I personally appreciate them. Fantastic experience: After 15 lessons with zero driving experience, I was able to pass my road test on the first attempt, all thanks to Eugene. He was patient, calm, knowledgeable and supportive all the way. There were some lessons where I did not do my best, made silly mistakes and was mad at myself for doing so. Eugene, however, being true to character, remained calm and encouraging all the way. The morning of my road test, to say that I was nervous would be an understatement. Eugene, I guess saw that and said to me “You can do it, I know you will pass” Teaching isn’t just about knowing what to teach, it’s also about knowing how to do it in a manner that your students will understand and succeed, while also encouraging them to believe in themselves. If you want to learn to drive and obtain your license, trust Eugene and TLG Father to get you there.

Negative experience: Did some classes with these people and The old man is very rude and gets annoyed easily when asking to repeat himself when I can’t understand what he is saying because of his accent. He is always on his phone for some reason and leaves to go outside when the 5 hour class is in process. He sometimes argues and raise his voice at the female employee and it is very weird to me.

Negative experience: horrible instructor . Dragged the 5 hour out into 6 hours talked just to hear himself talk . speaks no English and has no teeth . asked multiple questions that you canning understand then gets mad at you because you don’t answer him or belittles you . 10/10 I DO NOT RECOMMEND SAVE YOUR MONEY

Fantastic experience: TLG Father Auto driving school is the best. they put everything in perfect details about driving a car, following road signs instructions very carefully reading the road signs and also signing up for a five-hour class which is very important because you need to learn a lot of this before you ready to take that road test. All the driven instructors were very nice and have manners to me and others as well. My driver instructor was very nice, patience with me. He Believes that I will pass this road test. He said to me why are you thinking about failing the road test, He said that I believe in you, and I know that you will pass this road test. And here I am crying with so much joy and happiness. Guys God will open up doors for you he hears your wishes and prayers for what you want in life. Whenever I am on the street, and I see my favorite dream car. Negative experience: Worst experience with a driving school ever. The old man was extremely disrespectful and accused me of lacking common sense when it comes to driving when I came to him to learn. He also drinks a lot and smelled like beers when it came time for my lesson. I get that he isnt driving but I at least want a sober teacher.

Positive experience: Oh boy where do I begin. The lady who I spoke with always sounds like she’s unsure or distracted when I asked her question. Which came off as a red flag but I proceeded with doing business with them anyway. I don’t like the fact that they don’t have set posted prices of the services that they offer on their website or anywhere else for you to see. Which should be considered as another red flag because that’s how confusion can start. After I waited about 20-25 for them to decide who was going to take me to my road test I finally arrived at my site and passed. All thanks to my first instructor I forgot his name but he really gave me the confidence and help with parking that I needed for test. Thanks to him now I know how to park and correct it if I need to. Other than that take your chances with this school and Proceed with caution. I feel like this school is a hit or miss.

I’m really happy I chose this school to learn from, the instructor (G father) is very informative and makes sure everything he teaches is in accordance to the DMV rules. Fantastic experience: All the instructors are good, the experience was pleasant. There is one instructor though that stood out against all the others; Patrick. I was lucky enough to have Patrick as my instructor the day before my road test and he is definitely on point. He prepared me to pass and I did it. I stepped out of the vehicle and felt confident enough to keep my road test appointment and passed with ease. I recommend Patrick as the instructor of choice if offered, or may you be as lucky.

Negative experience: Driver was unprofessional (talked on the phone for half of the lesson and gave no real pointers on driving) and rude (was insulting and insensitive) and the car was dirty. Overall horrible experience. Wish I saved my time and money!

Negative experience: The owner of this place is a crazy person who yells at his customers and employees. I was taking a driving lesson with him and he said that explaining the rules and watching me driving is too much so he won’t talk and every time he didn’t like something about my driving he was screaming at me. I also got a package which included driving classes, appointment for driving test and rent a car for the test. A few days before my driving test I called and confirmed that I am coming and they knew that I paid for everything. However, when I came an hour before my test the owner met me and ask how much exactly I paid. I paid 2 months before my driving test so I didn’t remember and decided to check my bank account. He asked me second time and started to scream at me like crazy that I have to tell him how much I paid. I WAS SHOCKED!!! And it happened 1 hour before my test! He doesn’t care if you pass your test or not! Other drivers are nice and polite, however, everyone in this school has a heavy accent and it’s really hard to understand them sometimes. I would not recommend this school.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Father and son driving school . They understand the assignment after 6 lessons i pass on my first try .

Negative experience: The instructor (I think his name was Michael?) made about a dozen phone calls and face-time calls DURING our 45-minute driving lesson and didn't pay attention at all. The whole lesson he alternated between talking on the phone and yelling at me when I did something wrong, without explaining how to do things correctly. I told him off the bat that it had been years since I'd driven and I'd completely forgotten everything, but he didn't help me or teach me what to do even though he was having me drive around in full traffic, so the lesson was a terrifying and stressful experience. I was so distracted by his constant phone calls that I only realized later that he never had me adjust my mirrors, and I had to adjust the middle mirror mid-lesson because I realized I couldn't see through it. He had me stop mid-way through the lesson to wait for some guy to give him hundreds of dollars in cash, and then he told me to keep driving forward while counted the cash, ignored me, and face-timed someone to show them how much cash he'd made. I took the lesson because I am an inexperienced and nervous driver, and I felt worse about driving after the lesson than I'd felt before it. I hope the business replaces him with another teacher because I realized later that this lesson was not just demoralizing and terrifying, but actually really dangerous- I could have gotten us into an accident while he was face-timing countless people.
