Fantastic experience: Highly recommend 911 Driving School. The staff are professional, knowledgeable, and communicate well with both the students and parents. Following each lesson, feedback is given for what needs practiced for the next session. You can optionally take the SC drivers test during your final lesson, which is another bonus for this school.

Fantastic experience: It's always nerve wracking when your child is ready to get their license. 911 Driving School was so great with my daughter. The instructor's were so patient with her and really taught her lots of extra safety tips as well as skilled driving.

Negative experience: I pay for my son to take this class, it was not a lot of available space to do driving days. Was unable to get anyone on the phone when trying to schedule his driving test.

Fantastic experience: I’ve put both of my children through 911 driving school and could not be happier with the results. The package includes the final test- which means you don’t have to book it through the DMV- and you will save money on insurance with the proof of completion. I highly recommend them!

Positive experience: The instructors were great, as well as the focus on defensive driving. My daughter felt very calm during her drives. However, scheduling her drives was not easy. You are expected to check the site 2 or more times a day (which I was unaware of until I inquired after not being able to get any drives scheduled). The majority of available times were during school hours and with the strict FMSD attendance policy, missing school is not ideal. I understand that the instructors are scheduling during their off times, but wish I knew going into it how difficult it would be getting drives scheduled without having to miss school.

Fantastic experience: They were absolutely fantastic here, my son felt more confident after every drive and passed his test 1st try!!

Negative experience: I would like to inquire about how this company claims to have police officers available to help students drive. Do they have a contract with the local PD, promising enough officers to fill the need? Because after my son tried to check the availability for the road instructor, there were never any times available. A classroom instructor told my son he would need “30 hours of road time” BEFORE he could even schedule a driving instructor, even though he had a permit. On top of that, they have you sign a contract that expires in 180 days and if there are no times available, they keep your money. We also paid an extra $95 for “reinstatement” and checked availability immediately and there was none for months. Which brings us back to the contract expiration days. This shady way of conducting business allows them to keep hundreds of dollars and not provide the services you’ve paid for. When you confront them over the phone, they offer NO REFUNDS and, as you can tell from responses, get quite abrasive and aggressive. Wow, beyond poor business model and customer service.

Fantastic experience: We had an excellent experience with 911 Driving School. We chose this particular school because of the law enforcement officers teaching the kids. Both of my kids were very well prepared to get their licenses.

Negative experience: It is very difficult to book drive times. You have to stalk the website daily and only offer times when teens are in school. Afternoons and weekends are impossible. Too many students for the amount of instructors they have available.

Negative experience: Update: We have never been contacted after leaving multiple messages. You have our contact information, reach out. Original review: Don't expect a call back from messages left. We have a son with a disability and after the first ride we were told he needed 20 additional hours of driving and after receiving that amount we needed to call and request a specific instructor. Not wanting to force the issue we did a few hours every week, so it took a few months to complete. When we tried to call back, there was no response. 8 phone calls later and multiple emails sent, I have still never heard back. After several months of trying, my wife was finally able to get an email from them stating that the time had elasped and we would have to reenlist my son and spend more money. Wow! The audacity of these people. This was our third child that we had sent here so it's very disappointing to have such a negative experience.

Fantastic experience: Both my sons took this course. Both my husband and I felt we ALL greatly benefitted with greater peace of mind that they were learning from the very ones who could hand out tickets to know exactly what they needed to know. We also felt it important for our sons to have respect for law enforcement and that law enforcement respects them and to experience it. We highly recommend this program. Though it's more costly than others, we believe it was well worth it.

Fantastic experience: 100% recommend 911 Driving School Fort Mill! The driving instructors were top notch and my daughter came out of the training much more confident and ready to drive on her own. The school was flexible with scheduling and we were able to fit in all of the driving sessions during the holiday break.

Negative experience: Steer clear if you have a teen driver in school. It is next to impossible to get drive time with an instructor. We left this school with time still left on the books and went to another local Fort Mill driving school to finish. It's that bad and when I called to talk with them about the issue, they really could have cared less. Very disappointing considering the cost of the package.

Negative experience: Updated 12/20 (3 weeks after class). Thank you for the response. We have logged in every day three/six times a day just waiting for open times not during school hours. Fort Mill High School is on a half year/semester basis with classes. You're only allowed to miss five classes a semester. The way high school classes are scheduled it is not an option to take your child out of school unless they're truly sick. In addition, you can not take your child back to school without a doctor's note. Taking your child out at 10:00 am means not returning the rest of the day. Driving is important and so is the training; however missing class is not an option. We will continue to login daily and see if we can schedule an after school appointment or over the holidays. Original comment: Unfortunately Driving hours are during school hours. My daughter took the 8 hour course 2 weeks ago. We have logged into their website daily to try to schedule driving hours. The hours that are offered are during school hours . I going to assume that they are understaffed.

Fantastic experience: My son enjoyed the class and got a lot out of the drives with an instructor. It was easy to use the online scheduling. The staff was very friendly, helpful and promptly communicated.

Negative experience: Before choosing this school, I inquired about whether they offer evening and weekend sessions. They claimed they did. Well, really that’s just the 8 hour class and then they rarely offer any driving sessions outside of school hours. To schedule those sessions, you have to check the site repeatedly all day to find an open slot. I made the mistake of signing my son up for the premium class not knowing they had a 180 day cut off. It says to contact them, but it is difficult to get through to anyone. The officers that teach the classes are informative and thorough. It’s just hard to schedule the driving sessions unless you are willing to pull your kid out of school and you have time to check for openings several times a day.

Fantastic experience: I am so pleased with our experience at 911 Driving School - Fort Mill! All of the instructors were very thorough and taught my son a lot about road safety. They have an excellent program.

Positive experience: We had a positive experience with the driving school. The instructor was knowledgeable, encouraging, and patient. I was relieved to have an expert teach interstate driving to my teen. After taking the course, my teen passed the driver’s license test on the first try. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because it took awhile for messages to be returned. However, that won’t stop me from coming back with my next teen driver.

Negative experience: The driving class is fine and no problems scheduling it. But, trying to schedule driving lessons for a student who is in high school is VERY difficult to find times not during school hours. You have to check the site 15x every day to try and snag a coveted time outside of school and they go very quickly because every parent is checking often. They don't do lessons on Saturday. Makes no sense to me how a company who's majority of customers are HS students have such limited hours for them to take lessons. Of course they don't tell you they have very limited slots outside of school available before you sign up and you won't get any help from the office. Instructors are good, but the aggravation of trying to schedule lessons is not worth it. I've resorted to signing my child up during school hours to get in a lesson. I recommend looking elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: My daughter went to this location for her drivers permit and now her license. She loved having pencil and paper for her test. She loved being able to sit quietly, and take the time she needed to answer all questions. She was extremely happy to pass with all questioned answered correctly. I liked that they answered all my questions via email when I scheduled her test. They gave also gave me tips on how my daughter should study. They were also super friendly as I waited for my daughter to finish her test. When she took the driving classes she felt that they explained everything in a manner that was easy to understand. I love how they not only teach your children how to be great driver, but also how to be a safe driver.

Fantastic experience: We had a great experience at 911 Driving School. While it can be a bit challenging scheduling drives, we checked several times daily and did not have trouble scheduling drives. The teachers were very knowledgeable and my daughter learned a lot. Would definitely recommend.

Negative experience: My personal experience with 911 Driving School was not very positive. While it was easy to get into the classroom portion of the class - things went downhill from there. We were instructed to schedule the 3 2-hour sessions online and it was clear in the email not to call the office for support. Finding a time slot was a nightmare. Most time slots were during school hours and we were also fighting to book slots before who know how many other students in the same position. It took weeks upon weeks to squeeze in the 3 sessions - one I had to book during school hours and my son missed school to get his driving lesson in. I visited the website over 10 times a day hoping I would get lucky and see an available spot but inbetween those times, new sessions were made available and already taken by someone else. I'd suggest having more driving instructors and a better online experience. Also maybe not telling people they shouldn't call the office when they are unable to find a driving spot that works for them would have been nice - especially considered how much parents are charged for the class!!

Fantastic experience: The office was always responsive when I had questions. The instructors were great. I accidentally paid twice and before I even noticed it they called me to inform me of what I did and had already refunded my card. My daughter was well prepared upon completion to drive on her own and more than that, I felt confident in letting her spread her wings and drive independently.

We have had three children go to 911 and all three really have a great understanding of driving, precautions to take while driving, and how to stay safe on the road. Would highly recommend!

Positive experience: We have had a solid experience with 911 Driving school. The instructors my son worked with were all very kind and knowledgeable. The sessions are 2 hours each which is long enough to truly get some practice with the expert in the car. At this time they don't have a lot of instructors which makes it a bit challenging to schedule yourself online. We were able to emailing the office directly and they booked us in a timely manner. They are also able to do the driving test, to avoid testing at the DMV. Very helpful!

Fantastic experience: Everyone here at 911 is a pleasure to work and schedule with. I ran into an issue with trying to schedule drives and they were beyond helpful in working with my child and myself! I appreciate the reviews after each drive my daughter takes. It helps to know what to work on in between drive times! I’m very grateful that during the driving period the instructor is also teaching my daughter (driver) things to be aware of and such. I also enjoyed hearing that the classroom session was hands on and not just someone lecturing from start to finish. Negative experience: I have NO clue why this driving school has good reviews. I would give them negative stars if I could! Setting up my daughters driving sessions was a nightmare, and they kept getting rescheduled. When the time finally arrived for our first one, it was incredibly disorganized, I was charged the wrong amount, and the male instructor Was so gross and unprofessional. He stunk like BO so bad, that the car that he was driving in the previous session reeked. The car was filthy, and I felt horrible letting my daughter leave with him. I kick myself every day that I didn’t stop her. He literally brought a comb and combed his nasty bushy beard during the drive. It was disgusting and disturbing. What’s more, he instructed my daughter improperly - saying that she did not need to yield to pedestrians at a crosswalk! I suggest you go anywhere but here! *Edit to add that 911 driving school’s rebuttal is completely inaccurate. It was 100% their school, because I spent thousands of dollars flying my daughter to Colorado to pay for all of her driving sessions to be done there so that she would never have to go back to 911 driving school in Fort Mill. They were not helpful AT ALL. I had to nag them constantly to provide proof of my one lesson with them. I finally wrote this review after a year because they continue blowing up my email a year later requesting one.

Negative experience: If I could leave zero stars I would. Terrible experience and their lack of communication is appalling. I called many many times and left voicemails and nothing. I actually ended up going to another school right here in Fort Mill and it was great! Stay away from this place as they do not answer or return any calls. I suggest you check their bad reviews thoroughly and you’ll see. If anything, you’ll get a crazy and lengthy reply from the owner if you leave a review. So petty. Fantastic experience: The instructors were great and my daughter feels prepared to start driving on her own. The portal is convenient and user-friendly. It is a disappointment that there are few after school and weekend drive times. The high schools do not excuse absenses for driving class and will not allow students to return to school if they are checked out for driving class.

Fantastic experience: My daughter took her driving lessons through the 911 Driving School in Fort Mill and it was a great experience for her! On the last lesson, you have the option to take the driving test to get your license which makes the process much less nerve wracking! We were thrilled with our experience and my son will be going when he turns 15!

And we all have had to wait In long lines at the DMV and stressed out there so it’s nice to avoid all that headache at the dmv. He goes today for his final driving test for his license. . school FM! Fantastic experience: Both my son and my daughter attended 911 driving school. They are 8 years apart and both had excellent experiences. 911 teaches safety and makes sure that these kids are equipped to make good decisions and be responsible drivers. It's a crazy world of drivers out there and kids need every advantage they can get especially being new drivers. I think being taught by SC State Patrol and hearing real life experiences that they have been through and seen is very valuable to impressionable teens and how they learn to drive.

Fantastic experience: Fort Mill 911 is currently training a second teen driver in our family. It has been a great experience. Teaching foundational techniques even with all the technology today. Great experience and highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Overall the experience was very good it was hard to schedule once they stopped all the classes for July but that was just due to a lot of kids trying to get the class and they’re driving done. Also one thing I noticed was that on the schedule to drive app that you utilize you can always schedule one at a time so then it causes you to have to wait a little bit longer because the drives fill up so fast and reaching someone at the office can also be hard, but otherwise it was a great and would recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Had two teens that needed to get their licenses, so decided upon 911 Driving School. It was so easy to register both boys online. Check-in was quick when the day arrived to do the classroom education. It's summer time so many kids are doing their behind-the-wheel training now so you have to make sure to check the app everyday to get an appointment. They both completed one session of behind-the-wheel driving. Both boys had nothing but positive things to say about their instructor and their time doing the behind-the-wheel. Wish I would have signed my daughter up too!

The instructors were amazingly patient and supportive, but also gave him some 'tough love' and constructive criticism that I know will make him a better driver.
