Positive experience: vaswani driving school, this experience was super weird to me! He sent me messages of a student car at a mechanic shop that wasn’t the same student car I had a lesson with him in, he said his car broke down and he was stuck at the mechanic shop and mention to me he had to cancel our appointment. After about 10-15 mins I tried calling him FaceTime he did not answer, I then replied to him through iMessage “ What games are u playing? Call me FaceTime” he then calls me back at his office. Never heard from him again after that! made up a story to me it was very weird what happened with him I still don't understand why he did that. I recommend for those looking for a driving school, always try with about 1-3 lessons firstly before committing to a package.

Fantastic experience: I have gone to a number of driving schools in the past 3-4 years and no school has been like this one. Mr. Vaswani is patient, direct, and helpful. He truly wants you to learn to drive and be GREAT at it. Excellence is what he strives for you to achieve. With his methods and knowledge, you will get to excellence in no time! I took lessons with Mr. Vaswani for about two months and passed my first road test!!!! (I did make a minor mistake, but that’s from the nerves, haha.) I could never be more thankful for Mr. Vaswani’s guidance. He’s genuine and available at any time. He came recommended to me by my sister (who also passed her road test on her first try!) I will pass his information to others so that they can get their license as soon as possible. Pricing for lessons are also fair, and he has various payment options! If you are looking for a great instructor, call Mr. Vaswani as soon as possible! You won’t regret it!

Fantastic experience: I was lucky to come across Vaswani driving school. One afternoon doing laundry and before I almost gave learning how to drive, I was fed up with my husband not being patient enough teaching me how to and so I saw the driving school and gave Vaswani a call and boy that was one of the BEST decisions of my life!!! He is absolutely professional and patient. Makes you feel comfortable while assuring you’re doing it right and safely. I was so happy to have him as my instructor, always looking forward to my classes. I am thankful to him for transforming me into a confident driver on the road and helping me overcome my fear of driving and although I was so nervous at the time of my exam I passed on my first attempt. With Vaswani I truly enjoyed the entire experience of learning. His 5 hours classes are well unstructured and fun too!!:)

Fantastic experience: I started taking driving classes with Vaswani 16 years ago. This was even before I had a family. I am now married with three children. That’s how long this process has taken me and how patient Vaswani has been with me. I would come take classes, take the test, fail, and then wait a few years before retuning again. Finally on my third time returning to take driving classes Vaswani told me we are getting this done. You need to be more confident in yourself. He worked with my schedule and fit me in wherever he could. He always told me I was doing well even when I doubted myself. He always told me at my classes “You can do this, and we are getting this done this time. We are making it across that finish line this time”. Right before my driving exam my anxiety was through the roof but he kept me grounded. And guess what I passed my driving test. I couldn’t be anymore grateful and thankful for having him as my driving instructor he knew I could it and like he said he got me to finish line. Fantastic experience: I was recommended to this school by a friend years ago. This year I finally made it a priority to learn to drive. Vaswani was my instructor and he was excellent. At many times I felt impatient, but he reassured me that the learning to drive takes time and practice. He explained all road rules and driving techniques in detail and in a way that was easy to grasp. He always answered my questions without making me feel like I was dumb and I really appreciate that of him. He challenged me, but also never let me feel like I was lost and would correct my mistakes immediately. He was very flexible with my schedule and we always worked a time for my classes. Vaswani not only cares about us getting our license, but he also cares about who we are as a person and our personal lives. I was able to pass on my first try and had no prior experience to driving before!!! I totally recommend giving Vaswani the opportunity to teach you to drive and learn the rules by the books. Fantastic experience: The best decision was to come to Wasvani for driving lessons . Why?? Because I really didn’t like to drive and I was always the designated passenger . From Wasvani I didn’t just learn the basics but I learned little tricks , got many good tips and advice, little by little I felt more comfortable and happy to drive . I am confident that he’s teaching methods and techniques helped me to rise above my negative feelings and pass with flying colors. Fantastic experience: I have to say that Vaswani is definitely hands down one of the best driving instructors. He is detailed, cares about his students, and make sure you are always understanding. And if you need extra help in certain areas as a learning driver, he is patient and will go over every uneasiness you have. I failed the road test before, and was in a car accident, and my anxiety before driving again was high. I was afraid, and refused to go behind the wheel. Vaswani made sure that uneasiness and anxiety was gone. He helped me understand safety, and rules of the road. Understanding them, definitely decreased my anxiety. Because of that, I passed my road test on the first try!!! But I’m definitely sending my son to his classes and to take his 5 hour class! I wouldn’t trust any other instructor!

Fantastic experience: Vaswani was not only patient during our lessons but helped me build consistency in practicing how to drive while I had a lot going on at home with sick children and sick in laws. He has been in business for this long for a reason - he is the best! He would find a time that would work with my crazy schedule sometimes working late on Sundays in order to help me learn. You get a sense of security from your very first meeting with him during his 5 hour course (which he provides Saturdays via zoom). He asks everyone questions and learns everyone's name. I HIGHLY recommend you call him if you want to get your license. His prices are affordable and you WILL learn to drive.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Vaswani to anyone looking to get their license. I started my journey about 1.5 years ago, and I am so glad I stuck it through. I had 0 experience behind the wheel, but I was coached very well by the instructors (Carlos and Vaswani) at Vaswani Driving Academy. I unfortunately failed my first two tries--but that was because my nerves got to me. I knew exactly what to do and felt fine during the final practice sessions but with the DMV examiner seated next to me, I started to hesitate and second-guess myself. I took several months off of practicing because I was so disappointed in myself. But when I was ready to start, Vaswani was ready to help me restart my journey. I told him about my previous tries--and I can say that working with Vaswani was the best decision. He always kept things honest, was cool and calm during lessons, and re-assured me on what I was doing well. That significantly helped boost my confidence. Despite being nervous for my3rd road test, I had significantly more confidence this time and I PASSED-- and I owe that to Mr.Vaswani. He's an honest man (really cares about you passing, not just $$). Fantastic experience: I got my drivers license on the first try and within in 3 weeks with Joey as my instructor. Joey’s experience was visible with clear instructions. Fairly priced, no complaints. A happy customer. The only thing worth knowing is that the cars are older and worn. However, that’s what you should expect to train in. If you bend a new car the bill will be hefty. Vaswani is passing those savings onto their customers, the Bronx community.

Fantastic experience: I am 40 years old and never driven in my life! having two small children, I knew I had to get my license and stop paying ridiculous money on UBER/LYFT! I finally got my learners permit, googled best driving school in the Bronx and found Vaswani. Best money ever spent! I did a 10 lesson package and he helped me so much. Fantastic experience: Million thanks to Mr.Waswani! I got the best Christmas gift ever! My daughter driving test result just come back today morning… I woke up on his text , ”She passed the test congratulations!” what a great day to start with! She 18 and got to learn how to drive in NYC it’s really not easy these days. People have no patience and intelligence been out on the road. But Mr. Waswani helped for my daughter and practice with her all the time, and give her great advice till got her license. It was not easy, but now time for her to drive every day, so I can relax, and enjoy the following road-trip on the passenger seat. Finally we can move out from the city far away, where life slow down and I don’t have to worry how she will go to the college. Fantastic experience: I just wanted to say although the classes are expensive the experience was worth it. I did the 10 class package that includes the 5 hour course, and the car for the road exam. (I recommend this package for people who has never driven before and paid for a extra lesson same day of my exam -just incase lol). Vaswani was my instructor and he is awesome! We had a lesson in the rain and in the evening to get a feel of what it is like to drive during different times of day which I am thankful for. He showed me how to turn on the windshield wipers, get inside different cars (some of my lessons were a different car and he would say- "you need to know what it is like to drive different vehicles!" Which is completely true. He is very respectful and if there was ever times he was late or had to cancel (rarely) he would make up the time. I passed my road exam on my first try! Thank you Vaswani !

Fantastic experience: Vaswani is top notch. Very professional, patient and understanding. He's a straight shooter when it comes to teaching, which is so important. He's thorough in teaching you before and after you get behind the wheel. Something I haven't experienced with other driving schools. Fantastic experience: Before I went to Vaswani I had horrible experiences. I ran into instructors who weren’t certified, not speaking English well, not showing up on time or just flat out calling out on me. That school was Colwell’s. On the day of my road test my instructor called out on me and I had to switch to a new instructor with a different vehicle than expected. It messed up my whole flow and as a result I failed my test. When I met Vaswani that’s when everything changed. Come to find out guys weren’t teaching me the correct information. I wasn’t being taught how to use my mirrors properly, how to signal parking properly, and he was the first to teach me how to turn my wipers on. Vaswani was never late, always on time, he was flexible with scheduling, his elaboration on details were great, he really cares for his students genuinely. He doesn’t make you feel like he’s just there to take your money at all. I’d recommend Vaswani to anybody struggling learning because he makes it easy. Without him I’m not sure where I’d be, THANK YOU VASWANI, I PASSED MY TEST!

Fantastic experience: *HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND * I just passed my driving test with Vaswani and I can confirm that this is one of the best driving school. I found them by checking the Google reviews online and this school has the highest rating. I purchased the 10 class package with 5 hour class and driving test. Vaswani was very good with me and I went from having no driving experience whatsoever to feeling confident in my driving. He goes on your pace and works with you in time and scheduling. I started in September and took my test on 11/28/22. I don't have no one else, either friend or family, to practice and my only practice has been with Vaswani and I passed. This tells you the great service from his driving school. If you are unsure in your driving and need a good school, this is the place to go.

Negative experience: If there is a -1 I would give it to him. Don’t ever go to Him. If you want to go, use another instructor and not him. He talks on the phone & eats while you’re driving. He only says “less gas or more gas.” That’s all he says. He comes late, wasting your time and money. I failed my driving test twice because of him. Went to NY driving school and then passed. Was happy with my investment there. Vaswani is a waste of money and time.

I took my classes with Vaswani he was very patient and gave a lot of explanation and really educated me on driving and rules of the road. He is a force of nature and a literally mogul in this industry! Fantastic experience: This is an excellent driving school. The staff are pleasant and respectful. Vaswani is an exceptional teacher, he gives you the right amount of guidance without expecting you to do everything right on your first attempt. He is respectful of your time. In all my lessons with him he never cancelled last minute and never finished a lesson early. I have used other driving school, where the instructor would finish a lesson in 30 minutes and charge me for 45 minutes. Due to his teaching style I would hear his voice in my head instructing me what to do next leading to less mistakes during my test and I passed. Although the driving school is really far away from me, I chose to take lessons from Vaswani, because of his teaching style and etiquette. I have taken lessons from other school and felt like I was wasting my time, money and energy. I can not recommend any better driving school where they will teach you the proper technique without placing too much pressure on you. You will not be feeling like you are wasting your money taking lessons from here. I will be a great investment.

Fantastic experience: I had classes with Vaswani on and off for a couple of years and I always returned to Vaswani bc he is the best. He was never judgmental and always calmed my uneasy nerves. You can ask him anything without feeling silly and in fact he prefers you ask rather than not know. He has an excellent driving record and it shows. He’s clam and informative. Fantastic experience: Thanks to the Vaswani Driving Academy my son just passed his road test to obtain his NYS drivers license. I was extremely impressed with the care that went into the safety aspect of it. It showed during the 5 hour class and driving lessons, because it's not just about learning to drive a car you also have to learn how to be aware of your surroundings on the road. Fantastic experience: First and foremost, I want to give a huge thank you to Vaswani! Today is the day I past my road test! Before I went to Vaswani, I started with a another driving school and after my first two lessons with them I knew I had to go somewhere else!! Fantastic experience: I went took driving lessons with Mr.Vaswani, took 5hr class and took road test with. But let me tell you this guy is amazing!! He saw my driving from day one and knew exactly what I lacked on, I had a little experience but was always very nervous when taking the test and that’s why I failed it a few times but he never gave up on me. He kept telling me that I needed to show confidence and to believe in myself like he did because he knows I knew how to drive and I knew it too. His teaching skills are great, so easy to follow. He was always so calm while I was in the drivers seat even the first time which I was impressed because it made me feel less nervous. Fantastic experience: I passed my road test today with Vaswani today on the third trial. I had been to two different driving schools and failed because I wasn’t taught the basics. I went to Vaswani intending to take 10 lessons but on the first day when he assessed me, he was honest and professional and said you don’t need 10 classes! I will give you 5 lessons and you will be comfortable to take the test. He was very consistent and actually teaches you how to drive! He taught me what the different car light signals meant which I didn’t know before. He is patient and gives you the opportunity to ask questions when you don’t understand anything. He genuinely wants his students to pass and not there to just make money of you. Finally on the door of my road test, he gave me a final lesson, then test you as an examiner will test his student. He is the best!

Fantastic experience: I was introduced to this driving school a year ago by 2 of my friends, They both told me make sure your instructor is Vaswani! I called got the information I needed he set me up for my 5hr class since they were giving it that exact week I called. When I got to my 5hr class I met Vaswani which I called him Mr.V instead. He was so cool, made you feel so comfortable & made you see that your making the right choices by coming to his school. I started my classes Mr. V was so patient since it was my first time behind the wheel. The communication was always great he reminds you about your upcoming classes, he was very flexible when it came to my schedule. When it came to my road test I wasn’t so lucky that I failed 3 times not because I didn’t know what I was doing but my nerves would get the best of me, when I wanted to give up, Mr.V kept pushing, working with me because he knew this was something I been wanting & a goal I needed to accomplish. Fantastic experience: I came from another driving school after failing my first road test. As soon as I walked through that door, Vaswani made me feel like he knew me, keep in mind this was my first time meeting him. I immediately knew I could trust that he was going to get me to pass my next road test by the level of confidence he had in me. He's not focused on making money off you, he's focused on doing everything in his power to help you, and he makes that clear every time he takes care of you. During every lesson, he made the setting of driving how it actually is, with small music in the background and small conversation here and there, while still incorporating instructions. This tactic really helps to teach you how to multitask while still focusing on the road and it also kept my nerves calm. I felt like I learned more with Vaswani in two lessons than what I learned at my old school with 5 lessons. Go do your driving lessons and get your license with Vaswani. He will not disappoint at all.

Positive experience: Vaswani, the man himself, is a really great guy. He can come off a bit strong, but has good intentions. You can tell that he knows his stuff. His employee is a different story. I went here for about a half a year, once every week. I wanted to be 100% sure about passing the test so I invested a bit into classes. The instructor I was paired with (I don't remember his name) could be pretty unprofessional. He would fall asleep mid-lesson and was always on the phone. I took a break from classes for a bit and when I went back he would give me feedback. He would just say I was going to fail (which I didn't). Also, getting in touch with anyone at the office is pretty hard. In hindsight I should have told Vaswani what was going on.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend you ask for Vaswani to be your driving instructor. I had Carlos first, but he made me very uncomfortable and I always felt like he was attacking me when I was driving. I took 10 lessons with Carlos, but I switched to Vaswani and got my 1 lesson from my driving package and purchased 2 more. I learned so much more with Vaswani than with Carlos. Vaswani never yelled at me and explained more to me about parallel parking. Whenever I made a mistake he would just correct me and explain how to fix it, while Carlos would constantly grab the wheel and made me feel like I wasn't driving well enough. I am glad to say I passed my driving test thanks to Vaswani!

After failing my exam with one of these school it took me 3 years to try again and like god sent Vaswani Driving Academy came my way while walking in the neighborhood. This gentlemen is so attentive with everything, you learn more than driving through each class. The private classes are modified to your experience there is no rush, he has so much patience and shows you the correct ways to drive safety. He does not rush you straight to take your driving test, he waits for you to feel ready and then polishes your skills even further before the exam. Everything about the classes was perfect and worth the investment. On the day of the exam we had one last class as a warm up and i felt ready for it. I PASSED MY EXAM!!! I tried learning from another instructor, but he made me feel uncomfortable and nervous. With Vaswani, I felt I was driving with a friend. Fantastic experience: I first started driving lessons with my dad. My dad first started teaching me driving lessons with his car and due to the nature of situations the car had to go because of the costs and that sort of thing. I then went upstate to visit family members and my aunt told me to see if I can get driving lessons from the driving school that I live nearby which is Vaswani Driving Academy. I called Vaswani to schedule the 5 hour class back In August and I did the 5 hour class via zoom. I would like to say during the 5 hour course I learned a lot of safety tips and many situations that may occur when you drive with your learners permit and once you get your driver's license. I also learned that the road you drive is not a one for all road that belongs just to you but it belongs to other drivers and motorists that drive and use motor vehicles to get to one place to another including public transportation like buses and cabs. after I learned about the 5 hour course and took the 5 hour mandatory course it made me feel like I will always want to keep my eyes on the road and always pay attention when I drive once I get that license. Afterwards Vaswani set me up with my driving instructor Carlos. I as at first a little nervous to drive because it has been a full year since I have not driven a car. Carlos taught me how to go easy on the breaks and turns and made me feel comfortable driving again like it was my own car that I was driving. I did a $310.00 package deal which included 5 lessons which was now 4 lessons to go since I did one lesson with Carlos on the first week of September of this year. I had a second lesson about a few days later the same month and I gladly practiced my 3-point turn and yielding as well. I also learned when I drive if a car is double parked you use your turn signal on whichever side the car is double parked on it could either be the left or right side of the road you use your left or right turn signal and I easily accomplished that goal with the help of Carlos during my second lesson. On my third lesson I learned how to park at first it was a little tricky because you line the car up with the car's mirror next to you and when you reverse you make sure the front of the car is lined up with the light before you back into the parking space completely turning the wheel twice to make sure the car either goes left or right into the space depending where you parked. I then did the full turn all the way and backed into the space without a problem because Carlos taught me how to park by guiding me and directing me on how to park correctly. On my fourth lesson I did a refresher lesson one day before my road test and I practiced what Carlos has taught me throughout the past month and throughout the duration of my driving school lessons with Vaswani Driving School and overall I felt more confident that I was going to pass the test the following day which was this Tuesday. On my 5th and final lesson I used whatever Carlos has taught me and did a final lesson with Carlos and did one last refresher and while I was driving and practicing with Carlos one last time I have gained my full confidence on driving with the knowledge and guide that I was taught by my driving instructor Carlos. That following afternoon I successfully passed my road test the first time due to the confidence and wonderful support and driving school lessons that Vaswani and Carlos have provided me. I would like to thank Carlos and Vaswani for the wonderful 5 hour course and driving lessons that I was provided to help me get my drivers license.

Fantastic experience: When my mom first brought up for me to take driving lessons, she immediately told me to go to Vaswani. I absolutely love how patient he was. I started off as a new driver with no former experience in driving and Vaswani was always patient with me. I originally came to him to only learn how to parallel park but nope, Vaswani teaches it all, the intersections, the turning , the 3 point turn, to parallel parking! He calls and texts me confirming our classes together and reminding me of the Road Test Date. Right after that he took me to the Road Test Exam in New Rochelle. Fantastic experience: I first started taking lessons here in 2015 but had to stop to return to school. Five years later I come back and get paired with Vaswani himself to get back in the groove of driving. Vaswani mentioned in the 5 hour presentation that you don't get licensed to drive a specific vehicle, you get licensed TO DRIVE. This lesson hit home the most on the day of my road test. I had been taking lessons with one of Vaswani's newer car and adjusted to it through my 8 lessons. Unfortunately, on the day of my test, that car's windshield needed to be repaired so I had to test with a different car "Uncle Bernie." I was so nervous at first but eventually the nerves went away and by the end I learned that I passed! This driving school is affordable and flexible with scheduling but most importantly have great teachers. I can't stress enough how important each lesson is and to take as many as you needed. There is always something to work on. I highly recommend this school. Best of luck and drive safely.

He is patient and knows what each one of his student needs. He works around your schedule and always finds a time that is good for you.
