Fantastic experience: The federal government has made obtaining a CDL very difficult, $$$grab (thanks Biden). If it wasn't for SUNNY, I would have never passed the CDL road test for Air brakes with passenger endorsement. They duplicate the road test very similar to DMV, study, practice and you will pass.

Fantastic experience: Thanks to Sunny Truck driving school I passed my road test, it wasn’t easy at first but Mr. Tej I believe he’s the owner… did everything to help me reschedule my road test and gave me a free lesson. He’s professional, understanding and compassionate. I’ll not forget Santos who done a wonderful job yesterday on my last training session. He had me practicing the offset on the right and left, he told me he could be either one. That’s exactly what every student needs. Fantastic experience: I had so many questions regarding the process of getting my CDL with Sunny. I walked in the office one day and everyone was very friendly they guided me in the right direction. Negative experience: First of all I passed my cdl road test .You might have problems with instructors.. I have work with 3 different instructors 2 of them was okay BUT i had the worst experience with one of them disrespecting, making lesson shorter and nobody should deal with their altitude. The instructor was completely talking shit about school it was so weird. This school is good for price and it doesn’t mean you will have problems too but if you have any problem contact with school management and they will help you out. After instructor waste my 2 lesson at least they gave me a free one additional lesson. Anyway good luck everyone ..

Negative experience: I got my driving licence from sunny truck driving school . I prefer new driver go to other school for their cdl . And make sure that school have certification . and also school give certificate that you spend 130 or 150 hours in school . What happened I'm my case . When I got my cdl after I try to find a Job westren express hired me. What they do they did 6 months contract with me because. I Don't spend 130 hours at truckdriving school . Every week I make almost 500 to 600 dollars I f want to leave westren express but I have to pay westren express 2500 dollars . If you are new cdl driver some companies pay your tuition fee. But in my case westren express refused to pay back my tuition fee because they told me you Don't have 130 hours of school training I recommend to all new driver go to different school who gives you 130 hours of certificate experience .

Positive experience: Really appreciate the insights from the trainers. They really prepared me especially for the Range Skill portion of the Road test. No question about it, with enough time you really learn everything you need to get your license. Needless to say i got my Class A on the first try.

Negative experience: This is a horrible company. My son signed up for the CDL 10 lesson and road test package. The instructors are not American and have very strong middle eastern accents. My son told me that he couldn’t understand his instructor so I called the company. They said they will give him another instructor. They did for one lesson and then it was back to the original instructor. They only instructed him for 7 of the 10 lessons, they said that he missed three of them. I contacted the company and they had me come in. One of the lessons my son missed because he got stuck at work (it happens) and the other two the same instructor called one day and said (in broken English) that he had two lessons on the weekend. I could hear that my son was busy doing something and just said ok. He never received a text confirming the appointments and no follow up when he missed the first. I asked if he can have at least one extra lesson, because of the confusion and they told me no. This company only cares about money and if you look the reviews, it’s from mostly middle Eastern men (probably friends of the owner). You live and learn. This company is horrible and did not help my son in passing the CDL road test. Don’t waste your money with this company. Edited **You said that your instructor waited two hours?? If that was the case, which it wasn’t, why wouldn’t they have called or at least texted. You’re claiming that some your instructors are native English speaking but we called and specifically said he could not understand his and you continued to give him that instructor instead of your supposed native English speaking instructors.**

Fantastic experience: My experience with Sunny Trucking school it's an excellent one. I had failed the road test around two years back with another school. Not that the other school was bad it was just that I had only afford for a 10 lesson course and 1 road test with the other school wich was a basic course of $1200 dollars. Sunny school offers financing which I was able to sign up for a 15 lesson course with 2 road test. Which if I had two road tests I would have certainly passed it since I was going for the manual road test. When going for a manual road test with no behind the wheel experience it is highly recommended to get 15 road lessons. Even though this time I passed on my first try a second road test always comes in handy. I have to say that the instructors at Sunny school are excellent at what they are doing. They are very knowledgeable. They catch whatever mistakes you are doing and correct (some might say nip it in the you know what). My instructors; Mr.Will, Mr.Said, Mr.Dave and Mr.Gale (I hope I spelled that right), were knowledgeable and consistent. Thank you all. Fantastic experience: The school offers great services for a reasonable cost. The instructors were great and I passed the road test on the first try! They were very accommodating with the schedule since I could only take lessons on certain days. Definitely the best CDL school in New York!
