Fantastic experience: The lady Cecilia makes you feel like you’re just hanging out with a friend in the car. Great explanation and she’s always nice to you. During the road test you don’t even feel nervous since her vibe is really relaxing.

For what i was told he was Good at what he does and recommended for me and come to find out they are not wrong, He taught me so very much in a matter of minutes. Truly a person of great teachings.

Fantastic experience: Roberto Hidalgo was a 10/10 instructor, answered all my questions, never got impatient, and told me exactly what I needed to know, offered to pick me up early so I could eat before my road test appointment at the Edison DMV, wished me good luck, the other person in the car and I both passed pretty easily.

Fantastic experience: This school is great. At first, I had an instructor by the name of Jonathan but he wasn’t good at all. He had a heavy accent and even though I tried to cope with that, he got mad whenever I told him nicely about it and even cursed. He also got mad over the littlest of things for no reason. Overall the experience was awful but then I had Roberto and he was so much better. He is patient and very friendly, and is of very good help, I highly recommend going with him.

Negative experience: My daughter and son had lessons with this company at the same time. Initial sign up was great. It went downhill after I gave them my credit card. Daughter’s experience: Jonathan was her instructor. She said that Jonathan ask her to warm up his food in our microwave before they started the session. He had her stop driving so that he could shop at a yard sale. He left her in an empty parking lot and crossed the street to shop and purchase items. She practiced a K-turn and then they sat in the car and had a conversation about life and church. He asked if her dad lived in the same house. And told her to call her dad more often. This is none of his business. Jonathan also gave her a list of Bible scriptures to read. So my daughter did not get a full six hour lessons. I'm totally against him leaving her in the car away from him. I requested a new instructor. I was going to request for them to make up for the hours that were lost. I didn’t want to continue trying to work with them. Son’s experience: I requested a different instructor for my son. I was promised that the instructor would get my son from work, have his lesson, then bring him back home. Later my son received a text stating that the instructor would pick him up from the house instead. When I called to question this, Carlos began to argue with me. He said that the instructor refused to go to my son’s job. He also said that we can stay on the phone and continue to argue all day because the decision was not going to change. I asked to speak to the owner. Carlos said that he was the owner. Not true. When I hung up with him I called the Harrison location. I spoke to someone who identified himself as the owner’s son and confirmed that Carlos was not the owner. So Carlos lied. I’m disappointed with this company and do not recommend.

Fantastic experience: The driving school has great instructors and friendly staff. My driving instructor was Johnathan Acquaye and he was really informative when I was learning K turns and parallel parking. Great instructor, will definitely recommend him. Overall the driving school is really good

Negative experience: Questions and answers for written knowledge test are outdated. On road driving practice was okay.

Negative experience: Could have been a decent set of lessons but this place has horrible communication skills. Told my instructors the wrong address on two different occasions. I had to have two different insteictors due to my first instructor getting into an accident on the way to me which doesn't surprise me considering during a lesson on parallel parking he was more interested in the birds in the park than instructing me. The second instructor I had, Segundo, was an amazing help just wish I could have had more time with him to set me on the right place.

Fantastic experience: This driving school is amazing, the office staff is very professional with great communication skills. My instructor Jonathan Acquaye was especially great, he was so patient and easy to talk with. He explained step by step at each driving lesson; what I need to do to be successful on the road test. (great teacher). I did my road test on Tuesday and I pass.!! Big Thank you to the Express Driving School Team

Fantastic experience: Express driving school gets an A++ from me. Went in there to get my CDL A. Their staff was is extremely helpful and polite. I passed all my written tests on the first attempt. They prepared me with all the knowledge I needed to pass. I purchased the 25 hour package. Alvaro and Alex are amazing at what they do (they were my instructors). They prepared me better then i expected. From pre-trip inspection to post trip to parking and driving the tractor trailer they hit the hammer on the nail. Passed my tests and got into a company in Port Newark doing pier work. It ain’t easy but anybody can do it! Alvaro and Alex thank you for getting me to this point! If your looking to get your license in whatever it may be, definitely hit up Express Driving School! Alvaro & Alex thank you guys!

Fantastic experience: I called this school as a last resort. They were respectful and actually squeezed me in when they had limited space. Carlos was an amazing instructor. Because of him, I am no longer afraid to drive. I practiced with this school for 3 hours and passed my road test. Fantastic experience: Barring the semantics behind scheduling and payment negations, the actual teaching done here (which is really what matters) is super grand! If possible, ask for Carlos as your instructor, he teaches not only how to carefully drive, but how to pass the specific skills and nuances behind the road test itself so you go in totally prepared! Don’t be shy to ask and explain any confusion, he’s willing to intuitively break down most any skill! Above all, his tricks behind special car maneuvers like parallel parking while behind the wheel are unlike any I’ve seen online; a must have!

Fantastic experience: I had Carlos as my instructor and he is very friendly made me feel comfortable and safe while driving. I was able to get the driving down pretty fast , he explained everything to a T and it was very fun to drive with him. The first day we went straight on the road did some turns , k turns and u turns, the second day we did all of that together as well a parallel parking ( he teaches u a trick to get it every time) and the last day we went on the highway and did everything else. Fantastic experience: This is a great school if needed to learn how to drive properly. Many was my instructor he was strict at the beginning but he loosens up a bit but still keeping strict but that isn't a bad thing since without the strictness I wouldn't be able to learn anything that I know now.
