Fantastic experience: I had not the greatest experience at another school on the island. I finally switched schools. My instructor at Alyaa helped me feel comfortable behind the wheel. She never yelled at me. I passed my test after a couple of lessons. On the day of the test, Alyaa took me for a thirty minute lesson before we went to the test site. Thank you all! The secretaries were also so friendly.

Fantastic experience: I couldn't be more happy with my experience at Alyaa Driving School! They taught me everything I needed to know to pass the road test, answered all of my questions, and gave helpful advice. Everyone was kind and patient during the whole process. I took around 7 lessons and then passed the test on my first try. The pricing is reasonable too. In terms of the road test they do everything for you, they schedule it, bring your 5 hour test certificate, give you practice time, and bring you there in the car you drove during the lessons. Scheduling lessons is also pretty easy, they actually have time slots available but make sure you plan a couple weeks in advance. Over all, they made getting my license easy. I wish I had come here first, I tried Island Driving School first and it was a nightmare.

Fantastic experience: I actually started my driving journey with Island Driving school and quickly noticed that they were not personable at all. The instructors were booked up and my 5 lesson package was spread so far apart. To the point where the instructors were either different or the same but didn’t remember who I was or were we left off. This put me in a search for a new driving school and I found Alyaa Driving School! They were very professional and not only recalled where I left off per lesson but actually remembered me by name with each lesson ! The lessons were well retained and I feel it was due to me being able to use the same car for practice up until the road test. I was pleased with being able to also use this car for the actual road test. The day of my road test I got a 30min prep prior, took the test with confidence and passed with ease! As someone who doesn’t own a car as of yet and needed consistent practice and a car for the test, Alyaa Driving School was PERFECT! The staff is knowledgeable and kind as well as attentive. I would recommend them to anyone of any age ready to get their license ! Let me not forget to mention their pricing is more affordable than the other schools!

If you make some mistakes they will tell you and explain how you did it and what you should do next time without being rude at all! They give you helpful tips as well! However after calling Alyaa driving school I was ensured I would be ready to get on the road. The 5 hour certificate class was also extremly helpful and informative. Before i came here i was enrolled in another driving school, “Island driving school” and they gave me lessons MONTHS LATER and i failed my first road test because of the huge gap i had between my last lesson and the road test. But Alyaa driving school is the best, on the same day of my road test i had a 30 minute lesson beforehand and she gave me the best tips and advice that actually helped me pass my road test the second time. Alyaa is amazing and gives honest feedbacks to make you a pass. She is kind and does not make you feel stupid if you make mistakes. Fantastic experience: Just want to share my personal experience with Alyaa Driving School. None of my friends and family ever thought I was going to drive because I was getting older and never had the interest to drive because I had a driving phobia. Hannan, the secretary assured me from the start, that it was okay to be a little nervous and I was going to learn. And she was right! Ramia was my driving instructor who made me feel very calm, encouraged me, and taught me well. On the day of the road test, Alyaa (instructor and business owner) took me herself to the test. She had me drive around for at least 30 minutes before the test to warm up while reinforcing rules to pass the road test and become a safe driver. And surely, I PASSED!!! I thought I was going to be SpongeBob who never got his drivers license. As for the office in general, it was clean, and had all friendly, professional and welcoming staff. They would send out a friendly text reminder the day before a scheduled driving session to make you don’t forget to go to it. I definitely recommend Alyaa Driving School to family, friends, and the public!!! The best driving school on the island!

Fantastic experience: I have been to a few driving schools and this is the best one I been too . Everyone that works at the school is very nice and it helped so much with my anxiety . I took 5 classes and each class was very informative and helpful .This school really helped me become confident in driving and I passed my road test on the first try . Negative experience: Not speaking for myself but instead my girlfriend. Ayala was incredibly rude and disrespectful for her entire lesson. Often shot dirty looks when the student messed up or “wasn’t listening” even though it’s hard to focus and listen when constantly getting berated by your “teacher”. Ayala constantly pressed the break instead of allowing the student to use it, and would then reprimand her for not using the break. Ayala is extremely harsh which is fine but her attitude is certainly inappropriate, especially for beginners. Would not recommend for beginners or anyone who would like a proper instructor. Instead I recommend South Shote Driving School as many of their instructors are much more patient and respectful to the student and their time.

Fantastic experience: this driving school was definitely the best. i was nervous before having my first lesson but just after having my first lesson, i felt extremely comfortable and confident and looked forward to completing my driving lesson package. my instructor was super kind, patient, encouraging and made me feel comfortable. i would 1000% recommend this driving school for new learners as they truly & genuinely care about all of their students . Fantastic experience: I went to other driving school and they took 4 months but still didn't get appointment and than somebody suggested Aaliya driving school and within a week we got appointment for road test and he was able to pass the test. Fantastic experience: This is the best driving school, Alyaa is the best instructor and all the other ladies, they make sure your comfortable and safe. When i'am in the road test i was so nervous and shaking but thanks too alyaa she makes me calm and honestly speaking if your calm and just relax you have more focus on the road and what your doing. Fantastic experience: I can say only good things about this school. I had a great experience. Alyaa and Fatima along with other ladies instructors were great at making me feel confident and more secure about myself after failing the first road test in ozone park. All of them great teachers/ instructors with lots of patience:-) here with a few lessons I was able to pass my road test today. highly recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: 1 - Instructors actually care about you and want you to pass. 2 - Q/A are answered very clearly. Don't be afraid to ask. 3 - They took me to the testing area and helped me calm my nerved driving around prior to the exam. 4 - They will give you tips and tricks that will help you long term but also guidance on what the road test proctors are looking for. Road Test passed on first attempt.

Fantastic experience: I don’t usually do reviews, but this service was so good that it just deserved one. Alyaa Driving School help me pass my road test. After coming to the school and taking a simple 30 minute lesson with a great instructor I was able to pass my road test. I highly recommend this place. This place offers 5 hour classes. with different packages of road practice including fast booking appointments. Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Fantastic experience. I went for the car + road test since I failed my road test with another school. I came in and she went through what I went wrong, and we focused on that for 30 mins before the test, which some schools don't offer. This helps you feel the car, the pedals (reduces chance to get points on hard stops cause you're not used to the car) I passed without any points. She is amazing at teaching (especially parallel parking, which was my weak point). I recommend EVERYONE (1st timers & retakers) to go here for their road test.

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience at this driving school! Both the instructors I took lessons with, Alyaa and Ruby, were very kind, patient, and great at explaining rules. They helped me feel at ease when I was nervous on the road, never got upset when I made mistakes, and helped me practice all the parts of the driving test many times before my exam.

Fantastic experience: My experience was amazing thanks to Rubi and Alyaa. They are both very easy to talk and helped me understand the rules of the road. I only took two lessons to pass the test. Definitely worth it.

Fantastic experience: Excellent School! From the moment I called I could tell they knew the road sites and today, I passed my test at Fox Hills thanks to them. During the classes, the instructor explained every step that I needed to practice, guided me through the areas that I needed to strengthen and would often comment on the signals to make me aware. If you are looking to do the 5 hour pre-licensing course, they offer it ONLINE via zoom! I recommend taking the road test with one of their vehicles.
