Negative experience: I wouldn’t recommend at all. I paid for $80/hr. I was supposed to start at 11:30. didn’t get into the car til 11:38 and my instructor told me we will be done at 12:30 and I told him no at 12:38 as soon as I step in the car that’s when I will start. now as we driving, he waits til I get to the light to tell me which way to go not only that he kept yelling at me and once I told him I was confused he caught a bigger attitude! what pissed me off was as I was parking near a park he had the audacity to say he needs a break and need to go to the bathroom, HOW YOU DOING THAT ON MY HOUR THAT I PAID FOR! i’m not a bad driver at all just need guidance I don’t know how you expect me to learn when your yelling. so I will not be back at all.

Negative experience: Worst Driving school you can get it into they take money as cash.Once they got the money they won't book the driving test.Then they ask for more for booking driving test.Obi was the person whom i dealt with i don't know what he is he stopped picking up my calls.When he did he was saying he is going vacation call me later what do you mean by that I have paid u a package to do everything after you get the money you don't even answer.Please go to any other school whom you guys know.This is the worst driving school.I joined the one in yonkers.

Positive experience: They good but the instructor Jay is not cool he is rude and angry he shouldn’t be in the driving business as an instructor Valentino good people they will teach you if you never drive in you life or failed before or only took a few lessons I suggest you pay them the highest amount of money driving doesn’t come at a cheap price you pay for what you get beginners that are deep down not use to doing it there way do not set your self up and go buy a cheap course that’s just certified squid behavior get your money right and buy a good course with all the lessons you can get I don’t like that they want to teach you a certain way to park though not everyone gone park the way you teach some people have their own way of parking you get what you get for package money with there business I say they good and affordable than any other school my pro tip advise is park they way you can park that’s best for you that you are use to if you are not comfortable the way some one is teaching you tell them to let you park the basic way that’s the way you prefer or how ever way learned previously sometimes it hard to change your parking technique when you already mastered that one technique your first mastered you’ll always end up going back to the first way you remembered epically when you are tense and nervous with anxiety

Negative experience: My instructor was the only good thing about the school. I had Obddalis as my instructor, and she was great! It was thanks to her that I passed my test on the first try. However, the owner of the school, Mr.Lehman, was a terrible person. He is unprofessional, rude, and has a nasty attitude. During lessons, he is always on his phone. On the morning of my road test, we were told to arrive at eight o'clock. It was still closed when I arrived. Two other girls and I waited until like 8:20 something. Which is when Mr.Lehman arrived. One of the girls asked him “ Why tell us to come early in the morning if the school was still going to be closed?" Mr. Lehman reacted in an unprofessional manner and with hostility. Asking her if she’d would like to take the test or not. After that, he blacked out on the second girl for signing her name on the wrong place of her certificate. Keep in mind that this man is the owner of a driving school, and he is behaving in this manner. when he should act with professionalism and respect. I definitely don’t recommend coming here. This establishment is not what you're looking for if you're searching for a patient, professional, and kind learning environment. Go elsewhere.

Negative experience: POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! I called the office to purchase a package since I am new to trying to drive. This is my first time, I do not know anything about how it works. They told me to zelle money to a number and they will send me information via text. I Whatsapp'd the gentalman asking for an invoice before sending the money. I never heard of customers zelling funds to a company who has a store front. Just to be safe I wanted the invoice first. The guy told me to send the money first and that he will send me everything that I needed. That right there is sketchy but I am not sure why but I sent the funds without the invoice. So I did. The only thing they provided to me was a zoom link to do my 5 hour class that same day. I did the 5 hour class with no issue. I wanted an appointment that Saturday to do my first driving practice out of 6. They called me and told me that I because I did not tell them I was going to cancel the first practice that I lose out on that practice and now I will only have 5. I explained to them that no one called me to tell me that I must call to cancel a class within 48 hours of a "missed"class. It also does not state that online. He told me that it states that on my recipte. I explained to him that I never recieved a recipt which I did ask for. He literally told me its in front of him and when I go into the office he will hand it to me. Firstly, when I did call to find out about the different packages, etc. No one let me know that its there policy/rules. I explained to him exactly that and he kept on being rude. He told me that he can give me my refund for the package with the exception for the 5 hour class and the 1 missed appointment. No sir! once again that was not told to me nor was that information on your website. He stated that it was on their window in the office. Sir once again, I did not go into the office and sign up. I signed up by looking at your website and calling the office. If that was the case than the person who called and I paid should have told me all about how it works etc. SMH. Plus it is a tiny office that smells and the office is dirty. I saw the picture of the rat in the review section and thought to myself, hmm maybe it was a one time thing. Boy was I wrong. Do NOT go here!!

Negative experience: This place gave me so many headaches. They are nice people but very disorganized. They said one thing and do another. Be aware of that.

Fantastic experience: Don't know what all the negative reviews are about. I paid the 15 lesson package, 5hr class, car for road test. My son went from left foot brake right foot gas to passing road test first time. We put two lessons together making them a hour long in Yonkers for 7 Saturday's. The last class was a hour and a half the night before the road test and he only scored 20 points which if you let him tell it he shouldn't have gotten that. Communication was excellent and the instructor is awesome. Love the fact they use SUV since my boy 6'2" and would never fit in those tiny cars other schools use. Definitely recommended Lehman Driving School..

Negative experience: Pathetic service, they don't answer the calls, if we visit office they make you wait for more than 30 minutes all the time, they schedule the classes according to them selves as if we don't have any other works to do. They don't care whether you want to book the road test appointment or not, they'll do it when ever they want & will inform you.

Negative experience: ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING STAFF! Whatever you do don’t make an appointment here. I made an appointment 2 days ago and had to call 5 times just for someone to pick it up. They lied and told me to come Monday at 11 am. I was there on time and ready. When I reached the store it was closed and the owner wouldn’t pick up the phone YOU WILL LOOSE YOUR TIME AND MONEY

Negative experience: This place is a scam they make you pay for things that you don’t need. On top of that they don’t make sure you are ready before even scheduling the exam so you end up failing and having to take more classes to get more money out of you.

Negative experience: The owner who is also the instructor was not good at teaching one how to drive or the NYS road rules. He was on his phone throughout the driving sessions, and very unprofessional and abrasive when his behaviors were brought to his attention in a polite manner.

Fantastic experience: Lehman Auto Driving School are great people. I passed my road test on the first try. The information they give you is 100% percent imporant and needed for the road test.You will pass with a 100 if you follow everything that's told in the Lehman auto driving school YouTube video. Best of luck to you all drive safe.

Negative experience: Some of the staff is friendly you had one driver instruct the name JJ he’s horrible. He yells at you while you’re trying to ask questions and learn. No one barely speaks English! I’m pissed off!!! I paid for a package deal and I should’ve passed on the first try so evidently they did not teach me everything I needed to learn. They did not prepare me fully for the exam!!! Now I have to Spend more Money money however I’m not going back to them again!!

Fantastic experience: My mom and I both came here for driving lessons and they helped us so much. Odalis is such an amazing instructor, she is patient and incredibly informative. We traveled all the way from yonkers to take classes with her. Definitely recommend.

Negative experience: Paul avenue has 2 SOLID YELLOW lines ! And the driving “ instructor “ keep telling students to do a u-turn . This is a very busy street with 5 bus routes in it.

Fantastic experience: This driving school was a great experience for me I passed my test on my first try. They worked around my schedule and are very supportive. I appreciated the attention to detail on acknowledging the pros and cons of my driving skills. They are very precise with helping everyone pass. They offer lessons in Spanish and English. If you are looking for a driving school this is the one! I highly recommend.

These people really want you to learn and pass your driving test ! I recently passed and I really have to say that it was because of choosing them..

Negative experience: Beware of this place they will try to scam you. I came to change my driver’s license test, but the owner and his son had an attitude and wanted to charge me for an “express” driver’s license test appointment in a demanding and forceful way. Stating there are no more regular appointments and that I would need to pay 85 dollars for an “express” appointment when the government does not charge for that. I did my research due to the sketchy way they handled the situation and there is such thing as Express Appointments they just wanted to scam me out of my money.

Negative experience: I NEVER LEAVE REVIEWS, but I'm forced to this time. Client satisfaction is nonexistent at this office; I payed for 15 classes $500 plus. You schedule an appointment to take the lesson with a specific driver, but when you show up, you receive something different. I understand that there are numerous other clients and that this isn't always possible, but when you try to explain that you've already made arrangements, you're met with a rude response.When they switch drivers, I have been accommodating and always go with the flow, but it goes without saying that you pay for the best service, and if you don't get it, the provider must make accommodations for the customer. I made the time and the appointment by calling the office, but when I arrived, the receptionist had a horrible attitude and told me that I had to make appointments one day at a time and that I had to call the office as if I hadn't. They don't accommodate you, they don't offer weekends for the road test, and you have to spend an additional $150 and more to be moved to a more convenient day. To top it all off, I had to take classes for 30 min and some drivers give you 20 min which is why I wanted to change instructor. _________________________________ NUNCA DEJO RESEÑAS, pero me veo obligado a hacerlo esta vez. La satisfacción del cliente es inexistente en esta oficina; pagué por 15 clases más 500 dólares. Usted programa una cita para tomar la lección con un conductor específico, pero cuando usted se presenta, usted recibe algo diferente. Entiendo que hay muchos otros clientes y que esto no siempre es posible, pero cuando tratas de explicar que ya has hecho arreglos, te encuentras con una respuesta grosera.Cuando cambian los conductores, he sido complaciente y siempre voy con la corriente, pero no hace falta decir que pagas por el mejor servicio, y si no lo obtienes, el proveedor debe hacer arreglos para el cliente. Hice la hora y la cita llamando a la oficina, pero cuando llegué, el recepcionista tuvo una actitud horrible y me dijo que tenía que hacer las citas un día a la vez y que tenía que llamar a la oficina como si no lo hubiera hecho. No te acomodan, no ofrecen fines de semana para la prueba de carretera, y tienes que gastar 150 dólares y pico adicionales para que te cambien a un día más conveniente. Para colmo, pagué para tomar clases por 30 min y algunos conductores te dan 20 min que es la razon por la que quise cambiar el instructor.

Fantastic experience: I passed my road test thanks to these guys within 3 months I was available to schedule and pass the road test thanks to Lehman driving school, they may have you run around a bit but it’s all worth it and a key note don’t schedule the road test untill you feel 100% ready for it just do you classes and follow the steps they show you in the practice road test and you should be able to pass it with no problem god bless you all and good luck .

Negative experience: They had me take the road test in a very different car than what I practiced in. Gas pedal was very different, turning was different etc... One teacher even spoke to me in Spanish the majority of the driving session even though I only speak English. Very unprofessional!

Fantastic experience: Very nice experience would definitely recommend! The instructors gave very helpful advice and were very nice during the classes. They helped me pass my driver’s test after only 6 classes which surprised even myself since I didn’t have as much experience driving.

Negative experience: Worse driving school, don't go to this school. They very unprofessional and just want to make a quick buck. it's so bad that while my husband was driving, the instructor was sleeping. These guys are alonely for the money and they don't care. My husband went to reschedule his road test and on the paper says it went from $69 to $80. But the guy tried to add an extra $15 more and say that's the real price, not the $80. That's false advertisement.

Fantastic experience: Excelente lugar. Lo recomiendo al 100%. Pase mi examen a la primera. Recuerden que no todo se le debe dejar a ellos. Esto es 50% ellos y 50% tu, es decir debes de poner de tu parte. Al momento del examen no es vehículo, es el chofer. Con esto digo que sin importar el vehículo que te toque si te pusiste nervioso pues te quemarás. Ten fe en ti mismo. Si eres de las personas que solo manejas cuando te estas tomando las prácticas. Pues 3 clases de 30 min no es suficiente. Mi recomendación es a parte de las prácticas, tome un vehículo por su cuenta y vote el miedo. Tienen un servicio muy profesional y atentos. Muy económico y Excelente forma de pago.

Negative experience: El dueño es un señor demasiado perro no tiene educación ni paciencia mejor que se retire. Las clases sólo son 30 min que se van en 3 semáforos. No ay profesionalismos cuando llegas a tu cita de las 2 tienes que esperar hasta las 3 porque nunca te dan la cita a tu hora. Si haces una cita con un profesor específico té la cambian de la nada sin decirte nada con otra persona. En conclusión no lo recomiendo.

Negative experience: I’m not sure how this business has four stars, if less than zero was possible that would have been my rating. If this is the service they provide to all customers, how is this place even open? The instructor was late for every single class. (Amongst other things) The straw that broke the camel’s back was when the instructor arrived 45 MINUTES LATE to the class then did not allow me to finish and drive back to the starting point because he was late for the next student. He gave a lame explanation that my 30 minutes were up, made me stop at a gas station and get out of the driver’s seat. I exclaimed that as a courtesy, the least he could have done is let me drive back to the school. We were like five minutes away. The business owner was made aware of this and did not even acknowledge what happened. These people are irresponsible and very unorganized. Also the vehicles are very bad condition. The worst experience I’ve ever encountered.

Negative experience: This has to be the worst driving school in NYC they are disrespectful money hungry people who have been stealing money from people for YEARS they don’t teach well and are very unprofessional and aggressive this place needs to be shut down immediately it’s disgusting how they treat people I spent over $500 on this place

Negative experience: Even a One star is too much to give. Very rude and unprofessional. The owner and the other dude with the grey cap lacks accountability when it comes to scheduling. I scheduled my lesson once for 11:00 AM and did not get in the car until 11:45pm. I had another lesson for 12:30pm and did not start until 1:15pm. I asked for a refund, they asked why? And denied. Don’t waste you time and money here... I highly recommend taking your lessons elsewhere.

Negative experience: Will completely try to scam you out of your money. I requested a refund and what they did was give me a refund but then charge my card again two months later for the full amount without my consent. They thought I wouldn't notice a $200 on my credit card! They kept my credit card information on file!

Fantastic experience: Pick Rachael to give you driving lessons, if you want to learn how to drive and pass your road test. All of my Stars are for Rachel. Rachel is professional, but also relatable. Rachel speak clear English. Rachel know how to get you to feel calm while you drive. Rachel can spot what's your weakness and your strength. Rachel has years of experience with providing lessons to diverse people, so she is able to teach anyone. I had Rachael as my driving coach from Lehman and I passed my driving test. In less then a month. I believe it was very helpful that I took my driving lessons consecutively with a driving coach who I understood and who understand how important it was for me to get my driving license. I did not feel like she was trying to get me to keep spending money on taking lessons, since this process is not cheap$$. But Rachael helped me understand mentally and physically how driving really works. THANK YOU RACHEL!!!

Negative experience: The fat Latino guy keeps grabbing my wheel for no reason, and telling me I didn’t know how to drive when I had 10 prior classes and they enjoyed driving with me. This man is paranoid, there is one good instructor in that school but the school is unprofessional. I went for a session today at 2:30pm and waited till about 4pm to start driving.

Negative experience: If you are looking for a horrible experience, this is the place for you. This driving school is very unprofessional, proper training needs to be done. Firstly they never answer their phones from their students, secondly the hours that are listed are not as they are (even after confirming with them countless times) they close whenever they feel like it and thirdly their customer service is horrible, very disrespectful. Mind you this a conversation where their employee confirmed they close at 5:30, he goes on to call me names because I stated its ridiculous that your hours state otherwise but you close at a certain time. I do hope its not a language barrier thing because this man went ahead to call me stupid after calling them out.

Negative experience: EVEN ONE STAR IS TOO MANY! Money hungry, Terrible , unprofessional , very unorganized. Different instructors for all 3 of my lessons. They charge you extra money on top of what you already paid for the package. Be careful not to reschedule any lessons or 5hr class because you will be charged the full individual service price even if you purchased a package . Barley learned anything feels like this is done purposely so you can pay for more lessons.
