Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this driving school for anyone looking to take lessons. I had the pleasure of learning with Andy and Manpreet, both of whom are fantastic instructors. Manpreet's calm demeanor and clear explanations of the road test rules and point system really helped me, while Andy provided valuable feedback on how to improve my driving skills. After trying three different schools, I felt most comfortable here. I passed my test on the fifth attempt, overcoming my anxiety with their support and a lot of prayer. Alhamdulillah, my prayers were answered!

Fantastic experience: AD Driving school has been a great pleasure to attend, having attended schools before. They were extremely willing to accommodate to my practice times, even coming earlier sometimes, making my days easier. The best part of it though was my instructor Andy, who worked with me for weeks to make sure I definitely passed this exam, making everything relaxing and extremely constructive. Having taken the exam before and going through the process of practice, it means a ton to me to finally have passed this exam. This school is a definite option when considering the many within Jamaica.

Positive experience: I passed my test from AD school. These people have taught me very well in 2 classes. I specially thankfully Manpreet mam.

Negative experience: The car they gave me for my road test had the check engine light on. Instructors tell you different things and don’t listen. They show up late and take time off the lessons.

Negative experience: The cars are very old and have the check engine lights on. The office is also selling life insurance for you when you die with their instructors. A complete waste of money. Their lessons are just to waste your time. I learned more in one lesson with other schools than I learned with all my lessons here. The packages on their website also cost more than their individual services. Go somewhere else if you really want to learn and save money.

Fantastic experience: Just passed my road test today. Would not have done it without A D Driving School. I had Manpreet (and Andy once) as my driving instructors. Manpreet is the best! She was so calm and nice. I felt relaxed when I was being taught by her. Also can't stress how nice Debbie (the front desk lady) was. She was really flexible with my scheduling and tried to work with the dates I gave her. Love love love this driving school. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Praise YAH! I am so thankful for AD driving school and absolutely over the moon that I passed on my first try! ANDY and CHARLIE are the instructor's that you want HANDS DOWN! They are so patient, kind and offer such a helpful and effective approach for beginning your driving career. I barely had driving experience and by my 4-6th lesson, it definitely started to come more quickly. TIP: Book 2 or three lessons a week if you can because that will help you retain everything that you are learning. I broke a generational curse receiving my license on the first go around, using the school provided car at a location where my family did not have success. All I have to say is HalleluYah, by the grace of our Heavenly Father I made it!

Fantastic experience: I just passed my road test this morning after taking a long hiatus from driving. Thank you to the staff at AD Driving School! I had 3 instructors - Luis, Charlie, and Hanifa. Luis was great at teaching me to how to maneuver turns and parking. Charlie was such a delight and made my anxious self feel at ease. And Hanifa is superb as a mock road test instructor. All the instructors are superstars!

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience at the school. I started out in the summer of 2023. I took classes and failed three times. Then I had Luis, he is an amazing instructor. Right from the first day in winter, he pointed out my flaws and where my weaknesses were. Each day he focused on those little things, I always thought I messed up on engine control but he pointed out it's my steering control. Every day he improved my driving skills and made it more consistent. He went out of his way to send me YouTube videos and resources to help me pass the test. He is the best instructor. I fully recommend him to anyone. Ask for Luis, he is a very dependable and skilled Instructor. I can't stop praising him.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to this driving school for quite a long time with not much luck until recently, I've finally passed my driving exam. One of the reasons for that is an instructor named Tim, if you go here I highly recommend working with him. Also the office staff are very helpful, kind, and accommodating I never felt unwelcomed. Lastly, sometimes driving doesn't come so natural to some but don't be discouraged, If I can do it so can you. I highly recommend this place. And remember to request a few lessons with Tim if you do come here he's the G.O.A.T!

Negative experience: Would not recommend for beginners.. lady in the office is the only reason why I give this school a 2 star. Instructors have no patience whatsoever and no experience working with beginners. One of the Instructor came 20 minutes late to pick me up and keep complaining that he's tired and he only gets 3 hours of sleep in which his personal life has nothing to do with me and my lesson that i paid for, cut my time and only do 30 minutes and each lesson is 45 minutes when I called the school and they spoke with him he lied saying I was ok with it in which we had no conversation about cutting my time that. That pissed me off even more. Instructor's are young and inexperienced. Would not recommend I had to find another school to learn the necessary driving skills.

Negative experience: Receptionist was EXTREMELY rude and not helpful at all. Called to PAY for a class and see if they had an opening for a certain day. She was rude from the very beginning. Definitely never recommending this place to anyone.

Negative experience: Had a bad experience with this school. Instructor did not explain things well, kept wanting to stop for food and talk to people on the street on MY TIME, payed attention to mostly his music, and even taught about all-way stop signs badly (the way he taught about them was that you stop at the sign, then you go at all-way stop signs, and he would complain when I looked all ways at the all-way stop sign and said I was doing it wrong). All these reviews are FAKE.. THIS school is the worsttttt..

Fantastic experience: I had 2 lessons with Hanifa. I appreciated her calm and welcoming demeanor, she gave me specific pointers on things they would be scoring me on during my road test and went over my problem areas. I passed my test and we were able to share some laughs during our time together. Over all I had a really great experience and I would definitely recommend AD driving school.

Fantastic experience: I took about 20 driving classes with instructor Hanifa for a month and a half at 7 AM lol. She was very helpful to work with. I set my last 5-6 classes back to back and I had a warm up last lesson on the day of the test. I passed on my FIRST TIME! I struggled with the parallel parking though and I parked a bit far from the curb but only had -5 points. The test instructor didn't have issues with my driving overall. I recommend this school for driving lessons!

Fantastic experience: I have passed my test today (2/2/23), a huge thanks to Hanifa who helped me a lot and gave me tips for today's test. Also thanks to the other 2 instructors who helped me as well, Randy and Muhammed. I appreciate the help, even though I only took 4 classes but they were well informed, and definitely the reason why I was able to pass. I would definitely recommend this driving school, as they give you great pointers and steps to help you on the day of the test. 10/10 driving school.

Fantastic experience: I'm a licensed driver!!!!! Thank you so much to the AD staff but most important my instructor, THANK YOU HANIFA. She is so patient, kind and made me feel comfortable from day one.

Negative experience: One of the worst experiences i've had with a family owned business. Worst part is, I dont know if the owners are aware of how some of the staff has overall neglected customer service. A new staff member informed me that the packages expire within a year if not used (this was mid to post pandemic), who decided being rude and nasty about conveying the info was the way to go (growing family here, who's business you lost - along with multiple other student referrals). I've also sent multiple emails to the office, no responses on a resolution. They've lost my documents back in 2019, and i should've known then to not revisit business with place. I paid everything in full without question, and did not receive what i was paying for. Still had about 4/5 lessons left in a 8 lesson package. Imagine that! Disappointing. Chose to write this lengthy review , because although there were some good things about this place, the overall experience took a downfall because of one staff members actions. For me, that reflects on the entire business. All in all, i wouldn't go back here, or refer anyone here if they're seeking a good school to learn from or to handle their experience. 0 stars if i could. Nice family that owns the business however.

Fantastic experience: I just found out that I passed my test!! AD Driving School was very approachable and patient with me after I had failed a couple of times. It was comforting to know that a school actually cared to call me back and schedule extra lessons to make me more of a safe and confident driver. My main instructors were Hanifa and Luis. They are both very nice people and give good feedback after each lesson. So, pay attention to what they say carefully. At one point, you are fine tuning your skills and at other moments you are relearning the basics. —Just trust them and practice a lot, which will help you reduce nervousness behind the wheel. Thank you so much to my instructors and to the school!

Fantastic experience: I was very nervous to start driving but my instructor Luis was the most patient and calm person and made it easier for me to have a smooth and easy experience. I definitely recommend having him and will definitely take more classes with him.

Fantastic experience: Passed my road exam 8.26.2022. I bought the 8 lesson package and an extra lesson the day before my exam. Rob was my instructor for 4 lessons in a row. We were very comfortable with each other. He was extremely patient and his calm demeanor is exactly what I need to start out. Then I got to ride with Mohammed. Mr. Mohammed is the instructor who will snap you into shape like a strict personal trainer. He brings with him a syllabus with parking diagrams and the point value system used by the examiners. He will take you out on the main roads to sharpen and strengthen your skills in real life busy traffic. Be forewarned, Mohammed is no nonsense. Do NOT, I repeat DO NOT take it personal. His style is a road test examiner's style which is extremely beneficial if you've never taken your road test before. This way you know what to expect. Mohammed wants you to pass your exam. Your success is the instructor's success. I specifically requested him for a few of my lessons. And then there was the gem of instructors, Hanifa for my last lesson before my exam. She also gave me tips that the others did not. I say that to say this, get a mix of instructors. They each bring something different of value to the lesson. AD Driving School offers highway lessons. I plan on purchasing to further improve my driving skills as I know highway driving is a whole different animal. Oh, almost forgot to mention Debbie at the front desk. She is very amicable and helpful. Thanks AD Driving School. At the age of 58 I am finally a licensed driver, proving it truly is never too late to take to the road to independence and self reliance. A+

Fantastic experience: Fantastic experience! Highly Recommend... This was a great experience and the person who made it exceptional was my instructor, Hanifa. I'm an experienced driver who relocated to NY and during the pandemic my license expired so I had to re-test. Hanifa was exceptional. She broke some sloppy habits; reminded me constantly, in a positive and supportive way to drive the way the examiner expects, because that's the only one who matters. Learned an easier way to parallel park, signal more and scan the road lots more--all good things to do. Had only one 5 pt. deduction on the actual test. Other teachers were good but the best is Hanifa--the gold standard. Some reviewers complain about having to go to the school the day of the test, or having to pick up Safe Driving Certificate. Yeah, it's annoying but when you've got dozens of students and certs to send you need a procedure. The half hour out of your life isn't more important than having a good school, instructor and experience. AD was my excellent experience; my instructor was the best. Larry

Negative experience: I don't like how on the day of the road test we have to come to the driving school. And after the road test they take us back straight to the driving school instead of our house. The driving school should pick us up at our house and take us to the road site and then take us back home. I took driving lessons with HANIFA and she was super quiet most of the time. She said I was driving good and I didn't have anything to improve on. I failed 3 times in a row. Automatic fails all 3 times. She never told me if I was driving too slow and I failed for that. She never explained who has the right of way at the stop sign. I always assumed I was doing everything right since everyone says she is the best. But she never said anything. I failed multiple times. She would bring me back to my house before my 45 minutes was up. I switched to a different driving school and they taught me the proper way how to parallel park and reverse. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND JK driving instead!!!!!

Fantastic experience: I started with AD driving school in nov 2021 in total I took 34 lesson because I didn’t have anyone to teach me beside the school. I can say the lesson was worth it . I had accident in feb 14 2022 . Didn’t drive I thought that I was going to fail because it’s been a long time since I drive and due to my accident my right arm is weak but the day of the road test I was surprised mind you the last time I took lesson was feb 11 so 3 months from now . I also watch YouTube videos the day before so I can refresh my mind and I can absolutely say it help as well. But overall this was my first time taking the road test and I pass thank you to Charlie Luis and randy . I had all three instructor and can say this was far the best experience I had they very patience and it made me more comfortable to express my weak points and what I needed help with and they work with me thank you guys I wouldn’t regret it and definitely recommending this school

Fantastic experience: Best driving school in south richmond hill, staff is really helping. Female instructor Hanifa is really good she explained eveything before test and i passed my test. I do recommend this school to everyone they are so professional.

Fantastic experience: Definitely the best driving school in the area. They always show up on time. They send out reminders the day before for your class. The receptionists and the instructors are amazing. They tell you what you need to improve on. I couldn’t have passed my test on the first try without their help.

Fantastic experience: this school has great instructors! Patient, kind and easy-going. Felt like I was riding with friends. Luis, I did it! Thank you for being patient with me and giving me great pointers! I beasted that parallel parking and 3 point turn. No issues! Nas, thank you for keeping me leveled before the test yesterday.. I appreciate y’all! I passed on my first go and I’m so happy to have gotten through another milestone with the help of A&D. 10/10 would recommend!

Fantastic experience: Had a very pleasant experience with this driving school. I was very nervous and hesitant to learn to drive after waiting for almost 20 years to take lessons. My instructor Charlie was amazing! So kind, patient and detailed with my lessons. He always on time, has great communication and was so thoughtful with all his tips, suggestions and feedback. I highly recommend asking for him. I felt very encouraged that I was going to pass my driving test and I did on the first try. Thank you so much Charlie and A.D Driving school for all your help.

Fantastic experience: I was happy I chose this school for my lessons I paid for a package had 2 different instructors which was both great I took my road test on 12/10/21 and pass they made me feel confident and comfortable every step of the way I would recommend this school to other people. I got my money's worth
