Fantastic experience: John's Driving School (TPT Testing Center site #75009): we had an excellent experience with John's to help our teenager learn to drive and prepare for the road test. A little pricey but 100% worth the cost. Our son worked with Lonnie who exceeded our expectations as a driving instructor. Lonnie was courteous, punctual and did an amazing job getting our teenager out on the road (and getting us as parents comfortable with him driving). The prep for the road test was excellent - he went into the exam with no anxiety and he did great! Will definitely be using John's again next time we go through this with a younger sibling. Cannot recommend enough. Super convenient to be able to take the exam nearby at John's instead of with DMV. Thank you Lonnie!!

Fantastic experience: Late review but: This place is absolutely wonderful, I took their starting driver lessons (3 classes and the test) and the people here are amazing. My driving instructor Joe was a huge help, and it was a great experience over all.

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough about John's Driving school! This is the second time I have used them to conduct the driving exam for my children. Each time, the instructor has always put my child at ease and never came across as militant causing them anxiety (this time around, it was Mitch who was the instructor and my daughter definitely had a great experience!!!). I definitely recommend John's Driving School to any one, either for driving instruction or to conduct the examination.

Fantastic experience: I just want to say if your not sure about using John’s driving school let me tell you they were absolutely amazing I was so stressed before my test but the minute I got in the car with Mike I knew I was in good hands everything was explained very wells and at no point was I unsure about anything I just want to say thank you to the amazing staff I passed my test and was in and out in less than 30 minutes

Fantastic experience: Very Nice driving school. As a french foerigner with little to no driving experience, I took the new drivers package: 6 hours of driving classes, the driving exam, and an online class regarding safety ( The online class is pretty useless, to train for the learner's permit, the online pdf are way more efficient). The instructors were very nice, eventhough I speak poor english, they still did small talk for the whole classes, which is very good to put me in a driving mood. The lessons were excellent to train for the exam, I felt ready and passed easely. If you are a foreigner, student or intern, do not hesitate to go with them, I had my driver's licence in less than 2 weeks after my first lesson. I highly recommend.

I didn’t even know this was an option before. The DMV is rude and unprofessional to say the least. They make an already nervous new driver more nervous. The entire staff at John’s, especially her instructor were friendly and professional. It was absolutely worth the expense to have her take her test at John’s where she passed.

Fantastic experience: John's Driving School was great to work with from start to finish. It was easy to book a package and dates for the lessons for our daughter. She had been a permitted driver for a year, but failed the driving exam at the Penndot location. We wanted to use John's to help her polish her skills and give her the confidence to past the test. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our experience at the Lower Bucks center - Site #75009 Her instructor, Bruno, was very professional and friendly, and really helped in building up her confidence in her ability to handle a car. Being able to use one of John's vehicles for the test was also a bonus. Our daughter was able to pass the test thanks to the skills she learned through the school - and we even got a discount on our insurance because of the instruction. We will definitely return to John's when it comes time for our youngest child to get behind the wheel in a few years!

Fantastic experience: Our daughter developed a lot of confidence and composure learning to drive with Pete of John’s Driving School. The 3 sets of 2 hour lessons covered the basics and as I and my husband continued to practice with our daughter between lessons we noticed continuing improvement each week. Fantastic experience: I just had my second child this year, take and pass their driver's test!! Having this small, local, and friendly driver's testing site in lieu of the horrific long wait at the overcrowded DMV in Trevose is a blessing There was absolutely no wait before or after the testing in a local neighborhood. It was a nerve-wracking, yet quick and excellent experience!! They let you choose to take the test in your car or one of their cars for an extra price. I highly recommend it to any parent/guardian or new driver. They also offer driver's classes that teach appropriate extra learning before or after you obtain your license that will count for an auto insurance discount.

Fantastic experience: Crysta at the front window was as helpful as I could have hoped for. Having to deal with the stress of taking my drivers exam, she put my anxieties at ease. She took the time to show me the company vehicle and let me sit in the driver's seat to acclimate with the car I had never driven. And it wasn't just Crysta that made me feel comfortable. Jenn, as my driving examiner, was professional and yet compassionate, and gave me clear and intelligent directions as I was taking the exam. The whole experience was a good one. I also passed the exam which only made the whole thing that much better.

Fantastic experience: We had a great experience using John's driving school for our oldest son! My son had Pete for all 3 of his lessons and he was awesome. My son connected well with Pete & he taught him way more than we ever could have. In 6 hours, our son was a better driver than he had been after driving with us for 15-20 hours. They teach them everything about the car, turning, checking blind spots, merging, driving on the highway, and much more! He had Mitch for his test. Mitch explained what to expect during the test & kept the environment calm. You can opt to use their vehicle or your own (if acceptable.) Their prices are reasonable and definitely worth it! Some insurance companies even give a small discount. I would highly recomend John's Driving School to everyone who is going to have a new driver in their house! Their safety is worth it!

Fantastic experience: We had 2 different instructors at John's, and they were both phenomenal. Rich (who did most of our daughter's lessons) was able to instill confidence in our daughter which got her driving places she would not drive with us. We received updates after each of her lessons, and they were helpful and actionable. Her final lesson was with Lonny and he was excellent, too. They both did a great job preparing her to be a good driver and to pass the test. Our daughter took the test at John's, too, and the process was smooth, and the examiner was so nice, putting a very nervous teenager at ease. We will definitely use John's again for our next child!

Positive experience: My Grandson took his test at John’s driving school. He failed the first time and instructor told him what he did wrong. My grandson was upset but he took the corrections as a learning experience. He took the test again 3 days later and passed. I want to thank the first instructor for not passing him. Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this school! They are very efficient with what they do, the lessons are 2 hours and you learn so much from your instructor, I had Jeannette Powers for my lessons and she was such an amazing teacher! I learned a lot from Jeannette and would highly recommend her to everyone interested! For my test I had Mitch (unsure of last name) but he was a super cool guy, the test did not take that long! I think the longest thing would be the parallel parking depending on how experienced you are. The people here are super sweet and helpful at John’s Driving School, I can not stress enough for this school to be your number one choice when going for your license rather than wait at a DMV for hours on end. You schedule your lessons and drivers test the same day they call you! There is an online course that is 30 hours completion that comes with the package of your choice I believe! Would give this school an 1000/10 if I could!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend John’s driving school! All of the employees are kind, informative, and respectful. I took the drivers lessons as well as the test and each time I had a different person. Each of them were phenomenal, they made me feel calm, knowledgeable, and confident. After each lesson you will receive a “report card” which tells you what you went over during the lesson, what you need to improve on, what you’re proficient on, and what driving skills you possess that were commendable. During the driving lesson, the instructor goes over what is expected of you in order to pass the test. The instructor provides a relaxed and comfortable experience during the test. You have the option to use their car for the test or an acceptable car of your choice. After the test, they offer C.A.T. training which offers intensive training on real life driving situations such as hydroplaning and accidents. I highly recommend John’s driving school.

Positive experience: The driving instructors assigned for the on road training were great. There were two different instructors, both were patient, informative, and made my daughter feel comfortable. When the driving test came, there was a different instructor that was rigid and tense - made my daughter nervous. No big deal, it happens. Second test, she was over the speed limit by 2 MPH in one section for a few seconds and failed. This to me felt like a money grab as the two previous instructors both disagreed with his decision. I would of liked for the same instructors that trained her to be the ones on the license test. We assumed this would be the case - unfortunately it was not.

The moment we started talking on my very first lesson day my anxieties were lessened. She built up my confidence so I could pass my test. Mitch was an amazing testing instructor. He made me laugh from the very first moment. I am proud to say that I was number 10 testing with Mitch that day, and he was 10/10 for a passing rate!

Positive experience: My son had a good experience with the driving school. His driving improved a lot after the first lesson and he continued to learn from the instructor each time. Call as soon as your child gets their permit - they are booked up 1-2 months out. The only annoyance we had was they cancelled our lessons twice due to the instructor and because they are so busy we had to reschedule a month later both times.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I were not the best at teaching our son how to drive, so we decided to enroll him in John's Driving School - Fairless Hills. This is exactly what my son needed. He learned to be a confident and knowledgeable driver. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: We used John’s Driving School to give our teenage son his road test for his driver’s license. Communication following scheduling and leading up to the test was excellent. We used the Allentown location and, simply put, Mitch (the examiner) was amazing. He was incredibly friendly, put our son at ease, and made his road test as stress-free as possible.

Fantastic experience: Instructors are amazing and know exactly when to be patient and when to push a person past their comfort zone. I learned a lot of driving skills through them, including ones I had never thought of before. My instructor knew exactly what I needed to succeed. Driving exam was easy after all the lessons I took, and I passed first try. Highly recommend this place for new drivers!

Fantastic experience: Got the New Driver package for my teenager and was very impressed with the driving lessons and test. My child had about 30 hours going into the first of the professional lessons. The instructors were knowledgeable and professional, arriving promptly and approaching the training in an organized manner. They did a great job making sure my child was skilled in lane changes, highway driving and parallel parking, and made sure he had all the driving details for the driving test. On testing day, the driving test was right on time with a very calm and relaxed tester. Loved that we could use their car he had taken lessons with. Only criticism is the online drivers education platform they use. The lessons were pretty static and the tests had lots of typos. So impressed with the driving education we are looking at getting one of the Street Safe packages.

Negative experience: I attended their driving lessons and the instructor gave me information that was false that ended up not lining up with the rules of the test that caused me to fail. I paid a lot of money just to receive false information. They repeated over and over again the wrong information that was then deducted from my test. I would’ve passed if they told me correctly but instead they didn’t. I have to now pay again to get another test and it’s frustrating and upsetting that they have “teachers” that are teaching their student and preparing them with false info. I complained about it but they didn’t care a bit. How is it fair that I wasted money for education and then when it came down to the test the two things that were deducted were the same 2 things that my instructor at the time told me to not forget and kept repeating. Why do they have instructors working their if they don’t know the rules of the test and just teaching false info for the test.

Fantastic experience: I had Joe as my instructor, and he was wonderful! Very calming presence, and he gave me so many helpful tips. He acknowledged right away that I was nervous, and that that was completely understandable, which I really appreciated. When I did something right, he always gave me great encouragement, and when I made a mistake he corrected in a helpful manner.

Fantastic experience: I decided to take a refresher driving lesson after I bought a new car to address life long bad habits. Joe was great! He was able to explain to me what I could change in a way I was able to understand & learn from. It was well worth the cost. Just got back from a long road trip & felt much more confident in heavy city traffic.

Fantastic experience: So to start off I am a single mother to 2 children & I am 24 years old. I have really bad anxiety & my driving instructor was Bill Watkins .... he was ABSOLUTELY THE BEST. He was very professional, kept me calm & taught me everything I could learn within the 3 lessons I had. When I made a mistake he was very nice at teaching me what I did wrong & how to correct things. I enjoyed all of my lessons with Bill & most importantly today I passed my driver's test!! I am now a licensed driver & I would not have been able to have accomplished this without the help of my instructor Bill! Negative experience: My daughter took her test there 3 times and they failed her all 3. She is an experienced driver so we did not take lessons just the test. I watched the instructor pass 4 tester prior to my daughter. All parking just as my daughter did, and yet only my daughter failed. We were the only people of color and I sincerely believe because we did not use there driving school services she was penalized. When I spoke to the instructor he seemed to take pleasure in the fact he not only failed my daughter but upset her and brought her to tears. I would never recommend this business to anyone, WORST EXPERIENCE I’VE EVER HAD WITH A BUSINESS!!! In response to your comment. I have noticed all reviews that have had bad experiences with your school were those who did not purchase lessons from you or women. That is telling. My daughter fits both categories. When they do not “park in the box” do the j structures show the person for verification… no. It is just their word. Again I don’t feel she received a fair opportunity because we did not purchase classes from your school. Also I again say the instructor seemed to take pleasure in my daughter being upset…. Poor business, would not recommend using this place…. Rip off!!!

Fantastic experience: My daughter took her driver's exam here. Her tester was so unbelievably nice! He knew that she was nervous (as it was not her first time taking the test having had a horrible experience at PennDOT already) and calmed her down - told her that if he saw her getting nervous, he would stop her to calm her down. He praised her as she accomplished each step. At the end, my daughter told him, "You have no idea how much I needed those words." I would recommend any of her friends to go there to take their test!

Fantastic experience: My daughter took driving lessons here and it was an amazing experience. As a very nervous and anxious mom these lessons also helped me feel more comfortable with my teenager driving. The feedback forms were great for us to know what to work on after each lesson. Also the ease at which they taught my daughter to park was phenomenal! Have already recommended to classmates of my daughters! Worth every penny!

Fantastic experience: My daughter completed the Behind the Wheel course at John’s Driving School in Fairless Hills. The instructors were thorough in providing my daughter with the tools she needed to become a confident driver. On the day of the test, she was extremely anxious. Jason was wonderful in helping her relax. I would recommend John’s to anyone with a teenager learning to drive.

Fantastic experience: Hi everyone! I am a parent of newly licensed teenager!! ( pray for me ) but I had to say we had to say we had an great experience at John’s . My son failed twice and passed on the 3rd try. John’s let us know what he did wrong and scheduled us again for another try. The instructor came and spoke to me after my son passed and complemented my son on a job well done . I recommend John’s to take the driver’s exam and overall professionalism.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend! After failing twice at the DMV, I decided to try it and loved it! The instructors were nice and compassionate and very understanding. They kept me calm and not nervous the whole time! Definitely recommend for a small fee!

Fantastic experience: John's Driving School is amazing! My instructor, Julie, helped me learn to drive confidently and safely. I got so many wonderful tips that helped me easily pass the driving test and develop many important skills! This is the place to go!

Fantastic experience: I went to John's driving school in Lower Bucks for the license driver driving test. The facility was nice, the cars were new and in great conditions and the instructor was really nice and gave you the confidence that one requires when doing the driving test. I absolutely recommend John's driving school if you are looking for a serious and respectful academy to do you driving test.

Fantastic experience: Had a wonderful Experience At John’s Driving School. After my 16-year old having a very bad, uncomfortable experience at a local DMV center, and failing her test, we decided to give John’s a try after talking to friends. The driving proctor was amazing with my daughter and made her feel so comfortable from the very beginning. He was very friendly and made her feel at ease. I would highly recommend John’s to everyone. Well worth the small fee, in my opinion. I would have definitely done driving lessons for her here too if I had known about them sooner!
