Fantastic experience: I was doing the grand tour of America on a shiity 883 I stole/owed money situation whatever. I left San Francisco. Rolled into LA and called a lady see what bed I’m crashing tonight, she says she’s in desert springs on a girls trip, cool more for me. Rode out there. Good times. Almost arrested because of a restaurant bill situation…blah blah. Then when I was headed back to LA I got hit by a sandstorm, riding sideways in that mother of f….sorry you know what this is in another book. I hit every Indian reservation on my entire trip so I was zigzagging a bit across. Rolled into New Orleans, things happened. Stopped I Panama City beach just to eat and then tried to pull it all the way to Jacksonville before sunrise. Oh man here I am again rambling. I’ll make it faster. Wedding on Sea island next day, drove to Atlanta (my original hometown) to see my pops. All the way up the Appalachian trail to Brooklyn. Then when I pulled out of Brooklyn I tried for one of them iron ass challenge 1000 miles one day, then was 80 miles short when a deer jumped out of the darkness over my head but right in front of me. I figured my speed plus deer speed would make brain Godspeed so I had to pull over at shit hotel and sleep. Next morn I was at Madison HD getting service done and this sales guy gives me a free ticket to the Harley museum and says you have to go. Now. Because I said I’m headed west, not that way. Anyways, checked out the museum, was across the street doing work, checking emails, having a couple good luck beers. I went out for a cigarette and this guys standing there with his old lady. There’s a stage set up so I says, hey fella how’s it goes? What’s about to happen here? He says I’m Bill Davidson and were doing an event for the HD police dept here in Wisconsin . I said my names Cameron Hardy and im riding one of your bikes around the grand loop. Nice to meet you. I took a selfie of myself and bill and sent it to the Madison sales guy. You know what this awesome fellow says to me? I can’t say it here because of HR I bet;)) Please help, I’m just trying to circumnavigate this planet on a Harley. Or a stolen sailboat. But I need to get back to my wife most importantly because she’s the only B-word that sits on my bike. Thank you guys, much love forever for being so kind during that pit stop

Fantastic experience: We were in the middle of a 4000 mile trip and our water pump went out. The service department was able to squeeze us in and get us back on the road as quickly as possible. The Service Department team was very friendly and helpful.

Negative experience: Jada is great. Had a solid buying experience. The reason for the 0 stars is I paid 23k for a 2022 Fat Bob in 2022. I only have a whopping 200 miles on it and all they offer for the bike is 9k. Total rip off. Will never buy from this dealership after this slap in the face.

Fantastic experience: I recently bought a new bike and had an excellent dealer experience. This is my 3rd motorcycle, and my 2nd Harley, and this dealer was top tier. Very welcoming from the beginning, everyone I talked & worked with was friendly, including the owner Wolf. I worked with Dan in sales, and got a deal I was super happy with. The folks in service got my bike customized exactly how I wanted. I worked with several folks across multiple departments including Rod, Luke, Don, Alissa, Mike to name a few, and everyone was happy & willing to help me through the buying process.

Fantastic experience: “We’re not buying today, just here to check out the new 2024’s”. In a matter of minutes I’m on the new Road Glide and the wife is on a matching Street Glide for a test ride. Trey went through all the upgrades and features with zero sales pressure. Wife ended up trading in her 2016 SGS for a new 2024 they had in the back building (huge inventory). Sale went smooth and fast. Thanks to Trey and the entire team at Madison HD!

Fantastic experience: I took the basic rider course 2 weeks ago, and had been anxious to find a the right motorcycle. I stopped by on Saturday on the off chance that I would find something I loved in my price range. Steven was the first sales person to greet me. He was approachable and very knowledgeable. After making 3-4 laps around all of those amazing bikes I saw one that was perfect for me. Steven quickly helped me get a test ride in. He wasn’t pushy about making a sale, but more about what was best for me. I ended up purchasing my first motorcycle and could not be happier. Thank you HD of Madison. I look forward to years of continuing to shop at my local Harley dealer. Also shout out the incredible instructors of the class, Brenda and Brad.

Fantastic experience: Tom and Phil are great. They both did an amazing job getting me and the rest of the class through our rider course. They were patient and understanding and willing to take the time to help anyone through anything. They are both amazing and you guys are lucky to have them.

Negative experience: This place is full of themselves and those around them. Their social media person blocked me from their Facebook page simply for having an opinion on their approach on marketing videos and who was doing them. No swearing or calling names, just a simple comment to add a little negativity to their bad parade (that never got any attention other than frinds and family). They took it personally and instead of just deleting my comment, they actually blocked me. I will be calling Harley-Davidson corporate tomorrow to show how completely unethical that decision was. I have 2 Harley-Davidson's, and this is not what Harley-Davidson is about. Your still just the franchise owner at the end of the day, and I'm the customer. It's YOUR JOB to be better!

Fantastic experience: Stopped in to reminisce owning a piece of American Heritage almost 15 yrs ago. Got to hear the rumble of a modern HD ROAD GLIDE. What came next was a flood of adrenaline and emotion that I haven’t felt for a LONG time. The sensation of contact with the open road. I was exhilarated by the wind on my face and through my hair. I had supercharged nerves listening the roar of the engine and exhaust, I stood smiling broadly as I felt myself being transported back to the music playing from my Iron Chariot as I chewed up asphalt and left the boxed in life behind as I passed every car seemingly in slow motion….i felt present, there, in that moment. I come back about a week later, looking again. Searching for that feeling, I found Dannie. We talked a bit about the bike, the many changes, the new features. Talked about the budget, features, and accessories. I was in, all in. Dannie, really made the process quick, calculated all of the numbers. Gave me the best service, made me feel welcomed. Connected me to all the departments, the management, clothing, parts & accessories. I felt like a pieces of me were being reconnected deep down. Overall a great experience I even got a cold beverage on the house during the process. Dr Pepper, it was only a Dr Pepper. But it was refreshing, just like visiting H-D of Madison.

Negative experience: I had a riding class today and arrived on time. They said I had to complete a e-class before the riding class and told me they would send the information by email and phone. I checked my folders and couldn’t find it, but it's okay. My wife and I were planning to get two bikes which we liked sportster s this week after the classic . I even talked to a guy here a month ago and he told me he can order for us and it doesn’t take too long to get them here, anyway we were excited for it. But didn’t happen. Please encourage Tom, the coach, to smile more. He doesn’t smile or ask simple questions like, "Hi, how are you?" Julie offered to change my class dates. Thank you so much for being kind. I would rather get my driver's license through the DMV or somewhere else who has a good and friendly coach.

Fantastic experience: "Best experience I've had buying something from a dealership. Chris was the first person I talked to. Just wondering what I could get for trade in my current bike, and just run the rough numbers to see what I would get for a monthly payment. It turned out really good, so I got sent over to Rod where he got me the true numbers and it turned out better then I honestly thought it would. He was also very informative on the extra warranties and what not. Answered all my questions about the warranties too. Jada walked me through all the new features on the 24 road glide (which was nice, they added a bunch of stuff to the new ones) showed me all the features they all have, told me what to do and not to do for a break in period. Helped me with parts for it. All in all, I woke up Saturday not even thinking about getting a new bike, I showed up to get my HD passport stamped on my 2020 road glide limited with almost 53000 miles on, ended up leaving on a blue burst 2024 road glide with 7 miles on it. What can I say. A hell of a saturday"

When that one didn't work for my ole lady who was looking for her first harley Dan showed us several other bikes until she found one that worked for her. I have worked with several sales people in the past at several harley dealers and Dan is by far the best I've had the pleasure of working with. We will be returning in the future to Madison harley for my next bike when it's time for an upgrade.a big thank you to Dan and the entire team at Madison harley for restoring my faith in harley dealers after my bad expiriences at my local harley dealer!!!

Fantastic experience: I signed up for the intermediate riding course because I thought I was an advanced safety minded rider (and needed the license). My expectations were to sit in a classroom lecture and maybe do some training and may learn some new tips. The course was so much more than all that. By slow riding through obstacles, and nearly dropping a few times, I was humbled. The instructors could have beaten me up but they persisted and encouraged. I really appreciated that. Thanks a million! As for course feedback, I’d like more teaching how to first before trying some of the advanced maneuvers but in the end it worked and I’ve got a long way to go. Don’t sign up just to earn an easy test pass. They’re the real deal. Safety first.

Negative experience: The cashier was rude and mouthy. Extremely unprofessional. Was our first and our last time there. She definitely needs a course on customer service skills.

Fantastic experience: I walked in expecting to just sign up for class, and sit on a few bikes and check out the gear needed for a new rider. I immediately was greeted with a smiling face at the front desk, and it made me feel more than welcome. I was shown to Jada who was more than willing to answer any question I had and show me around. I was then taken around with Steven and we sat on at least 40 different bikes. ( at no point did I feel rushed, or a burden in any way and felt like he talked to me like I was a family member or close friend while showing me everything and answering all my questions ). I expressed that I was a brand new rider and didnt know anything when it came to Harleys as well as my long term goals when it came to the possibility of purchasing a Harley Davidson. I was shown and got to sit on many bikes until I found one that fit me perfectly, I walked back in and immediately knew that was meant to be my bike. I signed on the bike not long after. While they prepared paperwork I was taken to each department to meet everyone, and what their department does and how to contact them. I was then brought over and got a very warm welcome when I got to ring the bell and got ushered into the Harley family. Ive never been happier going to a dealership, and I never though in a few hours I could go from someone who knows nothing about Harleys to a member of a caring and amazing family of individuals. Thank you again for an amazing experience and making my first bike buying and experience at Harley Davidson something Ill never forget! "

Fantastic experience: I had my first accident and insurance claim with a vehicle, and HD of Madison walked me through each step and ensured our bike was in good hands. We were devastated after the accident. I was worried that the bike would not be at the same condition as before. At first, Dan and Wolf helped me along with pricing out a potential replacement bike. They made sure I had all of my answers, even on a very busy July day. Once we determined a repair estimate is the best route, they made sure that the right people were on the task. Thats where Justin and Riley steps in at the service dept. Although Justin was my main contact for the repair, Riley stepped in when Justin was away or busy. Justin was great at organizing the repair and making sure the right parts were ordered, and the insurance money for the repair went to the right parts. We had made a few edits to the repair estimate (adding a GTS radio in lieu of the exhaust, a different tail light, etc.) and Justin was understanding and made it happen! I was highly skeptical at first when this all happened. I thought that we would be running in to a lot of issues with insurance, making sure all of the damage was fixed, and the right parts were ordered. Thankfully to HD of Madison and their EXCELLENT team, none of that happened. We will be shopping there for a new bike for my fiance. A special thanks to Justin, Riley, Dan, Joe at service, and Wolf.

Negative experience: Very disappointed!!! I just spent $1300 on service for my bike and i didn't even get a wash. A clean bike helps soften the blow of an expensive repair bill. They didn't even bother to clean the windshield.

My sales rep Trey spent as much time with me as needed to pick out the perfect bike. He let me test drive what I wanted without issue. Rod was the friendliest finance and business manager I've dealt with for motorcycles and cars. Danielle was so warm and charming in helping me pick out gear to match. Randy hooked me up with the first batch of custom accessories for the bike and steered me to where all the cool things are. Dave in Service showed me everything I asked for when making decisions on service plans and warranties. Everyone was very knowledgeable and its clear they are passionate about motorcycles and the Harley-Davidson brand. It made the purchase process easy and I'm glad I'll get to visit them again in the future.

Dustin and Kim created a classroom environment that made a brand new rider feel safe and competent and also taught new information and skills to people who already have experience with motorcycles. Fantastic experience: "My battery died in a rainstorm on the way the 120 party in Milwaukee. It was 5:15 and I was at a gas station 8 miles from these guys. When I called, they were so amazingly helpful and kind. They gave me Crystal's cell phone in case we were disconnected after hours and she sent Jeff over to pick me up. Everyone was so nice to stay late and get me fixed up and back on the road and on my way. Jeff even guided my husband and I back to where we needed to be after all was back in working order. As I work at a dealership in Utah, I know it's a drag to stay late but they didn't complain and were so kind and helpful. Thanks so much to the whole team. Fantastic experience: As a first time, Harley owner, I had lots of questions. Howie took the time to answer all of them and make me feel very comfortable. He was patient with me as I rode a few different models to make sure I got the bike I wanted. When I came back to the first bike he had put me on he enthusiastically said of course you can test ride it again. I took out the 2011 heritage classic again (now named Leroy) and immediately knew it was the bike for me!! Cheryl in the finance department was great and offered different finance options and answered all my questions. I also appreciated being taking around and meeting everyone in all the different departments. I have told everyone where I got my bike and how happy I was with the service.

Fantastic experience: I am so impressed with the training team at Harley Davidson - Madison. My wife and I took our New Rider Course this weekend and learned so many valuable skills. I have been a state-trained Training Officer in a former career and I can tell you, based on professional experience, that this was TOP NOTCH training! You will be prepared for riding. Kim and Jeri were our trainers and theyre patient, knowledgeable and and encouraging. I highly recommend Harley Davidson - Madison!

Negative experience: I bought my ElectraGlide from the Madison store 7 years ago and have since spend thousands of dollars every year on it. Once $2,700 just to make the touring pack removable. I give them lots of money, every year. A couple weeks ago I ordered hwy pegs replacement for $170 and was going to put on myself. Well one screw twisted off in the back of a bracket and I don't have tools to work with that so I took the little bracket in to have them remove the screw. They would NOT help me at all unless I committed to paying them $90 for the time. Wow. Another money-grubbing HEARTLESS corporate giant sucking money from the little guy. J&P Cycles from now on, whenever possible. The merchandise and genuine HD stuff is great so still 2 stars for that.

From helping me understand the Extended Service Plans and financing, to assisting me in making my new ride more personal by installing highway pegs, and a heel shifter. Positive experience: It's a beautiful store with a great selection of bikes, accessories, and clothing. Ryan is a great person to work with if you're looking for a new ride, they have several great people working there. I'm not giving them a five star because of a situation which happened today. Overall it's a good store though.

Negative experience: Was wanting to buy a used bike. My credit is not great. They won't budge on price (till it's winter and prices drop). I was approved but they wanted a bunch of money down with an interest rate of 25%. Went to my bank and they'd have financed the purchase if they came down a grand. Nope. When I wrote and thanked Dan for all his help, not a word back. Suddenly I wasn't even worthy of his attention. Wouldn't and won't go back there if they were the last place around. Too bad because my wife really wanted that bike but we were not going to get upside down on the purchase. If trying to get a customer on a bike is a waste of time, as he alluded to, then why work in that position. Offer other options or to try and find something else.

Fantastic experience: Thank you to the gang out there in Madison, I was a walk in. I had zero intention of buying a bike, but we all know how that goes. Let me tell you they were swamped this day, I almost left before I even went in. I was barely there 10 minutes before Erik shook my hand and proceeded to answer my questions. Erik was great he already had appointments he was working with, but took the time to make sure I never felt like I was not important. Chris to took the time to lay it all out for me and make sure that I understood what all was going on, and for appealing the the guy in the red suit sitting on my shoulder. Rod made the final piece happen, he stayed late to make sure the deal got done and never once complained about it. To the guys in service that took the time to adjust the bars. I had never been to this dealership and yet he took all the time needed to answer all my questions. I was casually thinking about purchasing a Fat Boy. I'd always loved the design. Erik showed me the features of the bike and we talked about what it would realistically look like from a deal perspective. I then talked to Rod in finance. He was extremely friendly and very easy to talk to. He asked me a lot of great questions on what I was looking to do with the bike. Myself, not having had a motorcycle for 20+ years, Rod made a slightly intimidating decision much more realistic with zero ego, solid information, and advice.
