Fantastic experience: Deanne Braden was a great driving instructor! She taught me all the things I need to know about driving and helped me through my flaws. I feel ready to get my permit and eventually get my license!

Negative experience: Honestly a nightmare from start to finish, on the corporate side of things. Our children’s teacher was good and prepared them well for the road. BUT - the class location, which was within walking distance from our house, was switched to a location that was a 20 minute drive away two weeks before class started - too late to change schedules for busy highschoolers who have already been responsible and talked to coaches about missed practices - we had NO input into scheduling our students drives. It was not possible online even when all drives were signed off on. Our kids were often booked at times when parents could not drive them 20 minutes out or when they had school sporting events. There was no way to reschedule - only to cancel and hope we would get signed up again instead of penalized for not meeting class requirements. - Corporate was SO rude when I explained the scheduling problems. They told me I was wrong, I absolutely could reschedule online, and it didn’t matter that the previous employee told me I was write, even they couldn’t reschedule me online. I was treated so rudely and defensively. I was just trying to schedule what we paid for! I finally just had to say goodbye and hang up rather than continue to be berated. We ended up having to pay a babysitter to drive our child to drivers training (ironic, huh?) since All Star wouldn’t work with us.

Negative experience: So, your driving school is the reason absolutely no one knows the rules of the road. I was driving behind one of your cars, with 3 people in it and the kid driving was screwing around. Goin 25 in a 45. Then goin 50 in a 45. Speeding up, slowing down, swerving so I couldn't pass them. And I did call and leave a voice mail about how the instructor was allowing the driver to act like that. Y'all need to inform your drivers about how dangerous it is to drive a vehicle. Your instructors need to let the students know what exactly can happen when you mess around while having a couple thousand pounds under their control. Very unprofessional!

Fantastic experience: I did all of my drives with Shelly. She has been so patient, helpful, and overall such a great driving instructor. When driving with her, I always felt that I could trust her to know what instructions to tell me or to take control when needed.

Fantastic experience: My driver was Ms Shelly, I loved driving with her. She is very good at repeating instructions and making sure we know what were doing, overall she is very kind and fun to be around.

Negative experience: **Extremely Disappointing and Unprofessional Experience** I had an appointment scheduled for 9/5/24 at 7:30 AM. My brother, an interpreter, and I arrived on time and sat in the parking lot for over an hour, waiting for someone to show up. No one ever did. When I called the office to inquire about the situation, I was told that it was "our fault" for coming to the appointment, claiming they had called to cancel it. However, no one from their office ever contacted us, and we would have never wasted our time sitting in an empty parking lot if we had known. What made matters worse was the rude and dismissive attitude of the woman I spoke to on the phone. Instead of addressing the miscommunication or offering an apology, she hung up on me after I expressed my frustration. This kind of unprofessional behavior is unacceptable. My entire family has used this service in the past, and I have even referred many of my clients to them. However, after this experience, I can no longer recommend this business. The lack of communication, accountability, and customer service is deeply disheartening. I highly suggest taking your business elsewhere.

Negative experience: do no send your child to this school. they do not have instructors to do driving hours. you will finish segment 1 and won’t have any drives completed and won’t for like 2 months when the state only allows 6 weeks. then they lie to the state saying you finished in time so they don’t get in trouble. they had an instructor marcus johnson who smoked weed vaped in the cars with students brought a gun in the car and never fired him because he was “one of the only instructors” so parents complained every day about him and they never fired him cause they would have no one. so it was brushed off he was moved to other locations then eventually fired. but he was a danger to kids and they did not care they only care about your money and getting more students enrolled to take money and not fulfill contracts. the compliance department is a joke and doesn’t take phone calls so we would get yelled at everyday. managers did not take calls of angry customers so we got yelled at all day. road tests with kyle are cancelled everyday. he has cancelled more tests then he has conducted but you can still schedule with him it will just be cancelled the day of your test. They also do not send out zoom link for classes on time and blame you for not checking your junk or spam. classes are cancelled on a regular and sometimes you arent even notified then when you cant attend the make up class cause of their error they charge you $30. Both the managers yvonne and taylor talk about how this company is a joke and its going downhill and wont last they think its funny. do not waste your money here find another school cause you will be unhappy

Negative experience: Had a drivers test scheduled for today and Allstar cancelled it this morning and charged me a $30 fee for their decision! Customer service was completely unhelpful. Do not recommend.

Fantastic experience: Miss Shely was a amazing driving instructor she help me through ever single drive with her humor and happiness making it easier to drive and calming my nerves she's a grate person and a grate instructor

Fantastic experience: Shelly Benjamin was the ideal driving instructor. She was an excellent communicator, thoroughly understanding, and kind during every lesson. Every time we drove, she showed endless patience and empathy. I appreciated her ability to help me correct my errors and progress as a driver. I couldn't have asked for a better instructor in my learning journey. Shelly definitely set the bar high for future instructors.

He was incredibly kind and well-mannered, always ensuring I felt comfortable throughout the test. Jay provided clear instructions before each section, which made everything much easier. Negative experience: Not willing to help costumers. To start my son make the honest mistake to enroll in the wrong course for Texas. Theres a school course and a parent taught course for Texas apparently. They’re essentially the same thing with a few minor differences. After several emails and calls asking them for help crediting the $70 to the right course even if we have to do it again they said no. They wanted us to pay twice for what is essentially the same course. I understand it was our mistake, but I’m positive that it wouldn’t have been hard for them to help us in this situation. We never got a certificate.

Fantastic experience: After a rough start getting drives scheduled due to our daughters time constraints, and lack of availability, they double booked our instructor and all of our daughters drives were cancelled without any warning. After calling AllStar, her instructor, Jason Guminski worked to get all of her drives rescheduled - while I may not recommend AllSTAR to friends, they did go above and beyond in this situation.

Fantastic experience: I had Mr. Jay Beck as my driving instructor, and I couldn't ask for a better experience! The instructions were always very clear and kind. He was very engaging and accommodating. He also made sure to give helpful feedback after the test, which certainly made me a better driver!

Fantastic experience: Jay is a very professional examiner and he gives clear instructions during the test. His level of compassion also needs to be highlighted: I was amazed by the way he came through for me and squeezed me into his busy schedule when I was desperate and scared that my "Driving Skills Test Authorization Receipt" could expire before I pass the driving test and get my Driver's License, after the examiner assigned to me canceled the driving test at the last minute (2 hours before the time the test was scheduled to start). Fantastic experience: Our road tester was Jay Beck. He was professional and displayed a very calming demeanor. His directions were brief yet clear, and after my son passed the road test, he offered some excellent advice to strengthen his driving skills. Plus, he had a Pink Floyd license plate, which my amateur musician son immediately spotted and thought was very cool. All Star has been pretty good overall, other than some occasional communication challenges (which had nothing to do with Mr. Beck).
