Many of them have started with other instructors who simply don’t compare to Gordon's teaching style. Over the years, I’ve referred countless friends and family members to him, all of whom have shared positive experiences and even referred their friends as well. Fantastic experience: Tom is an amazing driving instructor. His relaxed, calming, caring, manner combined with very clear step by step directions and encouragement makes learning to drive easy and enjoyable. At first I was so hesitant to learn how to drive and lacked confidence in my abilities, but after I started lessons with Tom I felt extremely hopeful and my abilities improved with every lesson. The office staff who answer the phones are lovely, accommodating and attentive.

Fantastic experience: I am so happy I decided to take driving lessons! I had taken drivers Ed at school but I was still not confident and had a hard time finding time to practice with my parents. With Bell Auto, my driving instructor, Vlad, was able to understand and target the areas I needed more help with. Not only did he help me master basic skills like parallel parking and lane changes, he also helped me to be a defensive driver by reinforcing different checks I should make before making a move and looking at the drivers around me. There were some mistakes I didn’t even realize I was making and with Vlad I was able to correct them! Leading up to the road test we had done multiple practice road tests and I was able to pinpoint the areas I needed to improve before booking my road test. When I did take my road test I was confident in what I had learned and passed on my first try with 5 points off! After the road test, I had some unused lessons left so we were able to practice driving on the highway which would’ve been so difficult if I wasn’t with Vlad! Throughout the entire experience Vlad was easily reached by text and always had a positive energy. He was super patient and willing to reexplain things if I didn’t understand them on the first try! My family and I have called these lessons the best investment we ever made! Definitely do lessons with Bell Auto and ask for Vlad!!

Fantastic experience: Pass the road test on my FIRST TRY thanks to TOM and PAULETTE! I would highly recommend Bell Auto School, I had great experience with them. Every person there is extremely helpful and very pleasant to speak with. I never had any issues with scheduling my classes or road test. I had 2 great instructors Paulette & Tom. Paulette made sure she took her time to go over everything and was very patient , she helped me get over my fear of driving, I would have love to contiued with her but unfortunatley she move. Then I was assigned Tom as my 2nd instuctor and he is an excellent teacher, kept me calm every lesson, very knowledgeable and experienced. Tom was one of the reasons I was able to pass my road test on my first try !

Fantastic experience: Vlad was a great instructor. My daughter learned a great deal from him. He was very technical in his teachings and it showed. His communication and scheduling was fantastic as well. I will most certainly ask for him for my younger one when she starts driving.

Negative experience: If i could give this place a -10 I would. first of all, I made appts for a driving lesson multiple times they got confused about the lessons and screwed up the entire schedule. Second of all the driving instructors are unprofessional and tend to get too personal and are rude and say out of pocket comments. Also during the exam the testing guy (older black gentleman) was giving unreasonable requests. telling me to turn left at the last second- causing me to slam on my breaks. then proceed to yell at me and called rude names. This place is unprofessional and they set you up for failure. save your money!!!!! I know better driving schools upstate and around the city if anyone wants a better experience, otherwise suit yourself.

Fantastic experience: My lessons with Vlad really helped me overcome my fear of driving, especially after a previous negative experience at a different driving school. Thanks to Vlad’s structured lessons, patience, encouragement, and attention to detail, I passed my road test today! Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of taking the 5 hour course with Mr. Howard Garthwaite. He is a very knowledgeable gentleman who went through all of the concepts of driving. He didn’t only teach us the content on his slides, he also threw in many tips to pass the road test, and general knowledge of the road. People will dislike the idea of sitting through a long class, but with Mr G’s enthusiasm and humor complied with his factual knowledge about driving, it goes fast! Thank you Mr. Garthwaite and I hope that I pass the road test when the time comes!

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Bell Auto for lessons and road test prep. The whole process was very smooth and everyone at the office was helpful. If you are able to request an instructor, I would definitely recommend Vlad. He was my instructor for my lesson and he took me to the road test. Vlad knows what he's doing and is very knowledgable in terms of what the DMV employees are looking for during the road test. My main concern prior to the test was parallel parking, but Vlad was able to teach me a quick trick within a few minutes, and I nailed it during the test.

Fantastic experience: I had 10 lessons with Peter and he was amazing. Over the years, driving has given me a surplus of anxiety. I am 24 and have been pushing back taking my road test for a very long time. Starting off as a beginner taking lessons, I had so much fear behind the wheel. Thankfully, Peter was kind, calm, and patient every step of the way. He gave constructive criticism in a way that was extremely helpful, encouraging, and reassuring. On top of my confidence, I was struggling with parallel parking and he made sure we focused significantly more of our time on this skill until I understood how to master it for the road test. I can confidently say I have become a more comfortable and competent driver because of Peter’s help! On the day of the road test I was pretty panicked. Peter was an incredible support and reminded me to just breathe before doing anything. Driving can be scary but having an instructor who is empathetic, passionate about driving and teaching, and eager to help beginner/ intermediate drivers, and those who just need to refine some skills makes the experience so much more validating and enjoyable. I passed my road test the first time and don’t think I would have been able to do so without Peter’s knowledge and advice. I cannot think of a better instructor to recommend!!

While he of course taught me how to safely operate a motor vehicle, he also provided additional information such as how to properly predict the movements of drivers and how to gauge what the situation outside of the vehicle is. My instructor, and the company he represents, occupies the highest echelon of quality. Not only did I learn how to pass my road test on the first try, I also learned how to be a safer and more efficient driver overall and having fun whilst doing so. Fantastic experience: PASSED BECAUSE OF VLAD I was a complete nervous reck and was suppperrr scared abt my road test, Vlad my instructor helped me navigate through the test and reminded me that Im a confident driver! Fantastic experience: I was super nervous to learn how to drive, but my coach Vlad was so patient, kind, and skilled! I nailed my drivers test on the first try because of his instructions. Fantastic experience: My son was taking driving lessons with his instructor Vlad with Bell AUto School .Vlad was amazing in every way , he was on time for pickups, very patient, went over and beyond . Cristian felt so comfortable with every lesson with him and enjoyed it very much. Vlad also took him to his drivers test and texted us after to let us know how he did. I can not say enough about our experience with the school and mostly in regards to the instructor Vlad. If you call I would request him , you will not be disappointed. And my son did PASS Lora

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience learning to drive with Bell Auto Driving School. I took lessons with Dennis and my final lesson before my road test with Stephen. Both were amazing instructors and made me feel much more confident behind the wheel. Stephen was a great to have before the road test, because he gave me very useful tips for the parallel park and perfected my 3 point turn. I highly recommend Dennis and Stephen at Bell Auto.

He is patient, teaches you in a way that you can understand and no matter how the lesson went, he will always tell you how great the lesson went and that you will do better the next lesson Bells auto school is my choice and I would choice them again

Fantastic experience: Stephen is a phenomenal instructor and I've had a perfect experience with Bell Auto. After failing the road test twice and awful experiences with different driving schools for years, my confidence in driving was crippled. Getting behind the wheel became a fear. Stephen is professional, patient and an excellent teacher. His instructing was precise, and easy to understand. Seeing his lessons improve my skills with turns, intersections, and parallel parking helped me better handle my fears on the road. In five lessons I went from being a complete nervous wreck to passing my third road test and getting my license. I highly recommend Bell Auto and Stephen as an instructor.

Fantastic experience: I took refresher driving lessons with Steve. He was very kind and accommodating; a great instructor! He gave great tips for parking, making smooth turns, and how to develop a better driving mindset. I feel 1000x more confident driving after the lessons. Definitely planning on taking the highway lessons as well.
