Fantastic experience: This was a great drivers education course, it taught me many things. I both enjoyed it and tried my very best and had fun with it. Negative experience: Their "roadside assistance" is a SCAM. I was charged $5 for it. I never authorized it. and when I tried to use I didn't even had an ID membership so I couldn't use it. Stay away from them.

Negative experience: I bought the permit test but could not start it because it told me I had to do the permit course first even though I had already done it on another website before, which is why I only bought the test, not the whole course. I tried calling customer service but they would not pick up. I am waiting for them to email or call me back.

Fantastic experience: Very interactive! Closest to a classroom experience.
Negative experience: This company fraudulently charged my credit card $5 a month for a year for "roadside assistance" that I never authorized. I paid $100 for the parent taught driver's ed for my son. They enrolled me in a "free trial" of their side racket without my consent. Then they started charging me because I didn't cancel the subscription, that I never asked for or even knew about, after their trial period. I use my card for a lot of auto payments, so their charges fell beneath my radar. This scam seems pretty criminal. Their response to another review claims this only happens if you check a specific box at checkout. I assure you I did not. If this was true, why has it happened to so many people? Seems to be purposely convoluted to trick customers. Update: I tried AGAIN to get them to stop charging my card, the link they sent says I don't have an account. So I emailed them again, and they told me there's no account. And then they charged my card again TODAY. I've been telling them all week to stop and they did it again.

Positive experience: I took the course in anticipation of renewing my driver license. I thought the course was pretty good, although it definitely seemed written for new drivers. I would have appreciated a form at the start which would have allowed me to specify that I was renewing my license, which could then have been used to change the content I saw. I felt at times I was being talked down to; I've been driving for 40 years at this point. Another issue: Texas has Farm to Market roads other states don't have. It would have been nice if the course explained what the "FM" stands for on these roads. Finally, the course failed to clearly answer my biggest question about lane usage, which is: when turning at an intersection, does Texas require you to turn into the closest lane to you, or does it not matter? Different states have different laws in this regard. I wish the course had underscored DPS' position on this.

Negative experience: Company took our money and let my daughter start the course. She’s completed several hours of the course, then locked her out. I called the customer service line and they told me to give them 24-48 hours to contact me back. 72 hours later I try contacting them again bc no one had contacted me at all. The phone line is down and the message tells me to text a number. I text the number explaining everything and I receive a message back saying to allow 24-48 hours for a response. I see Aceable is giving me the run around and aren’t going to fix my daughters account and aren’t wanting to give my money back.

Fantastic experience: Had to take a driving course for a speeding ticket dismissal and Aceable was great. Didn’t have to listen to some guy talk for hours. I actually did it all on my phone and was able to break it into chunks and do it at my own pace over the course of a few evenings. Would highly recommend!

Negative experience: My experience with aceable was pretty bad. I took my learner’s test online and got my permit. I had no idea that the course would expire in 6 months nor did i get notified that it would. For personal reasons, I was unable to complete the course before it expired. When i tried to sign in to my account, it didn’t let me do that either. So i emailed them, and was told i would have to pay again for the course if i wanted the completion certificate. Now, almost 6 months after that, I received an email saying that aceable was unable to charge $5 on my credit card. Smh.

Negative experience: If I could could give ZERO stars I would, I ordered the driving course for my son, we had an error at the final exam saying he failed and to pay again but he never got to take the test. I contacted them and the representative said someone would be in touch with me via email and telephone. I had him confirm that he had all of our correct contact information. I’m going to report this to BBB if I can’t get a refund. This is not professional. We haven’t received any response. I bet they won’t adhere to their money back guarantee.

Negative experience: If I could could give ZERO stars I would, my husband ordered the driving course for our daughter encountered an error at check out but still got charged $70.00 tried contacting them no answer then when he finally did get someone on the phone he was told they would send a confirmation for our daughter to begin We never received it. Negative experience: The driving course itself was fine, but, beware the big SCAM that they run with automatically signing you up for a recurring charge that can only be cancelled from your kid's account, you can't even manage it from the parent account. Completely shady and scummy and I guarantee they know what they're about.

Positive experience: I LOVE aceable. I’m dyslexic and not all learning styles work for me. Aceable’s courses and study materials truly work for everyone! My ONLY complaint is that they partner with Examity to take required exams at the end of certain courses and Examity seriously sucks. I had to pay an additional $200 for my SAE real estate license renewal because they cancelled a scheduled exam without notifying me resulting in me having to take the exam after my license renewal date and my license going inactive preventing me from working for a couple of days. Examity has a 2.5 star rating while aceable has 4.4 stars. They should seriously consider partnering with a company that holds themselves to the same standards.

AceableAgent is required to have a certified proctoring service to administer the end-of-course exams required by the state. We really wish there was a way for us to remove this requirement. Negative experience: They have a charge on the minor side that to be unchecked. It a sneaky way to get 5 dollars a month from a customer. I have been unable to get them to stop the charges. Customer service is terrible. I could not see the study material for my child either. I would not recommend this service for any thing. I paid to have my child enrolled in a real school. I wish I could give something less than a one.

Negative experience: Waste of money & time. I requested a refund out of their policy time. They claimed they couldn’t do a refund.. no biggie. They then refund my account 50% and removed the course from my account WITHOUT my authorization. I was not notified prior to their decision, nor was I asked if it was acceptable. I would have much rather let the course sit in my account until I was able to complete it at a later time.

Negative experience: 2 stars because class work and tests are easy to understand for my kid. However … It says the child’s birthdate is “optional”, however you need the actual birthdate for the certificates and they charge you more to change it after your kid passes. That should be a “required” field! I guess I skipped over it since they listed it as optional and just had to shell out more money since my kid passed the tests.
