Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with this school. All the instructors were very helpful and they guided me through the process very effectively, which made me pass my test quickly. I recommend this school for young drivers too. Special shout-out to Chris and Oscar. Chris was my instructor, she was awesome with me and taught me everything that was necessary to pass the test. Oscar was the instructor that helped me with my road service on the day of my test, he gave me tons of useful tips that I used on the day of my test. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I took a beginner package from North Ave and needless to say one of the best driving schools I have seen in the state. The instructors are very professional and polite and teach you with patience. My instructor Jorge was incredible and because of all the lessons i had with him I was able to pass my road test in my first attempt. He was very professional and polite and gave all sorts of driving instructions needed for the test and the road in general. This was my first time driving a motor vehicle, was nervous at start but I give full credit to Jorge and North Ave to be able to pass the test with confidence! Highly recommend! Thank you!!

When taking me to the road test, the instructor provided me with last minute tips which were very helpful, and I even received a call from my initial instructor later in the day to congratulate me on passing and ask about my experience. The entire team was very helpful, from customer service to the instructors, and I will be recommending this school to friends and family in need of a driving school to go to.

Fantastic experience: They were super great and really helped me out with hand over hand and parallel parking. I passed my drivers test in the first go. Kind of wish they dropped you off at home after the test but they’re still an amazing school overall!

Fantastic experience: I had very limited experience with driving and went ahead with the Experienced package. Danny and George are well knowledgeable, Friendly, cool and patient instructors. They helped me with basics and mocked what the driving test would be. Also, George allowed to drive on streets and highway to attend the test, all while being watchful and correcting me wherever needed. I passed the test with ease( it’s same as what we rehearsed before the test) and would definitely recommend these 2 instructors!!

The only thing is that I wished we were dropped off to the test center and back home but other than that north ave driving school is superb! The classes are really great as the instructors explain to you in detail of how to do the parallel parking, k-turn, and the speed for turning to the left and right side. The staff and instructors are calm and patient; on the day of my road test, my instructor helped me review all of the stuff I learned from the classes and made me less nervous about the test. The school taught me that driving is a privilege not a right and that if I really want to pass the road test, I have to be confident and show what I know.

I forgot the name of the third driver but he too was kind and full of practical experiences. The front desk lady is something else Thank you guys!!!

Fantastic experience: My son took full courses every step worth money and time. Very well coached and very confident on his success pass road test first time. Thank you North Av School 5 stars but could give 10 everything from day one to finish 10 points customer service to driving.

Negative experience: Beware! They do not allow you a test drive to get familiar with their vehicle when you rent their cars for the road test! I paid $120 to rent their car for a road test exam and they wouldn't allow me to get behind the wheel for even 5 minutes to get used to a unfamiliar vehicle. When I complained about this, I found out that they have this "policy" in place because they want you to spend more money on their driving lessons. Yea right, why would I give this company any more money when I spent $120 just to use their vehicle for less than 10 mins and they refuse to offer something as simple as a little time behind the wheel which would have made all the difference for my test. Just a massive rip-off renting from this place!

Fantastic experience: Best driving school ever. Was able to pass my road test with them. Alex & Jorge are the best. They have patience with their drivers and help them build their confidence up to be the best that they can be within that hour and 45. You’ll get better and better overtime and they also keep record of that progress. It’s worth every penny going to them. Liliana is also amazing with her service. I recommend this one for sure. 5/5.

Fantastic experience: My husband just completed his driving course and loved the experience. The only downside he could think of was that they didn’t wait for him after taking him to the road test. Other than that, the service was exceptional, from sign up and scheduling down to the actual lessons and instructors. We would use them again in a heartbeat.

Fantastic experience: I never thought I would get my license, as I can be very nervous when it comes to the road. I had so many bad experiences with driving schools in NJ. North Ave was my 3rd school and the best one. The courses are almost 2 hours which gives you so much time to learn. I worked with Oscar, he was the best and was very patient with me. His car was clean and worked properly (an issue I’ve had at previous schools). 10/10 suggest North Ave driving school and if you can get Oscar, you’re in good hands! I passed my road-test on the first try!!!

Fantastic experience: What an exceptional service at the North Ave Driving school, the staffs where jovial and efficient, and for the price! it is worth it, for the fact that they take priority in helping new drivers learn and develop proper driving skills, besides I was also able to get everything done in no time and stress free. I must also give a shout out to the instructor Danny, for taking his time with me and making sure that I was very equipped before the road test, he goes over it again and again until I perfected everything.
