Island Driving School: Reviews
Negative experience: I was one of many scammed by Island driving. Read further, and I will reveal their scam operation. They get you to come in and give them your money. They have you sign a DMV approved receipt or contract that guarantees you a refund under certain conditions. They may get you to come in initially through the 5-Hour class. They connive people in the 5-Hour class to give them good reviews right then and there. Read the reviews for yourself and you see that this is true. The reviews talk mostly about the 5-Hour class. Then you find out that they are heavily booked for the next three or four months. They will try to deny this. Just click on LOWEST reviews. Read the hundreds of reviews of dissatisfied people who say the same thing. Literally hundreds of reviews! Island attempts to paint them all as disgruntled and wrong. Island strategically buries the bad reviews with the top loaded 5-hour class reviews. Can Hundreds of people be so wrong? If you go to Island’s Better Business Bureau profile, you'll find a bigger surprise. They defend themselves from scrutiny with a policy that they previously had on their website. Stating that once they schedule your lessons you are not entitled to a refund. They got rid of that policy once I told them I was reporting them to DMV. They will claim that they cannot use policies that are not DMV approved. Yet they used these unapproved policies to defend themselves on the Better Business Bureau website, further stealing people's money. They can't have it both ways. They either DID have these policies on the website, or they DID NOT! If they say they did they are admitting to wrongdoing. If they say they didn't, the proof is right there to read on the BBB website. In Their Own Words! Recognize that these people are actively engaged in the theft of customers' money. You can read all of this information for yourself. You don't have to take my word for anything. Island Driving will now give their pathetic argument against proof that you can read for yourself. They don’t want you to believe me. They don’t want you to believe your own eyes. Don't get ripped off.
Dear lailany E. And Robert D. This is the 9th review you have written for the same purchase . Feel free to continue posting . 2nd one was a 1 week ago under Google acct SIREN. Google deleted your review because they knew it was fake . I am addressing this response to the student and not to the owner of another driving school here in Staten Island named Rob who is pretending to be the students uncle and is writing this record. You should concentrate more on your business than spending days creating Google accounts to commit a crime on Google by providing false statements about my school. The uncle is not an investigator but he does pray on underage females and bash other businesses . The same owner who told all his students he closed down so he can keep all there money . Tons and tons of students called here crying and till this day never got services or a refund yet he reopened quietly and took new money from new customers. All old customers needed to pay again to get services . That company is a scam . We don’t treat any of our customers that way . We actually provide the service as we have been in business for 12 years and his company just opened 2 years ago . If we were that way we would not still be in business providing exceptional service to our students . To the student who is not the one writing this review : You purchased our spring summer special on 8/26 and completed your 5 hour class on 9/4. You booked 3 lessons . We don’t book the lessons therefore we don’t need to know when you are available . The students book their own . What you state is false . You booked all 3 lessons on 9/6 at 1256pm. You took your first lesson on 9/11 at 130pm and you have two more lessons scheduled for this month that you have not cancelled . As you can see your lessons were not months apart. Your first appointment was a week from your purchase date. Upon signup of the package you were advised of our contract and policies which had been in place and approved for sometime now with dmv. If a contract is not approved then the school cannot use it. Therefore what you state is false. Your uncle who is not your uncle but an owner of another driving school called here to speak on your behalf. We have the conversation on a recorded line which has been sent to dmv. We understand now the owner of another driving school is writing this review. It’s unfortunate the owner named Rob d. feels the need to include a lot of lies in this review causing defamation in effort to promote his own business . Our prices are the cheapest and if any student who wishes to “ do the math” they will see that we are the cheapest . I would love anyone to challenge me on that . His school charges more for road test appointments as well . Unfortunately when you go to this other school (the person writing this review ) he will tell you that you need 20-30 lessons before you are ready for a road test because he likes to take advantage of underage females . During your lessons with him , if you don’t listen on your lesson you may get a smack on the hand or be left on the side of the road or blindfolded . This is why he is not employed by us anymore. We wish his business was doing better and was able to find his own students . Lailany if you would like the help we are always willing to give it , please call us so we can help resolve any issue you are having . You should watch who you give your email out to , the owner of that school has been arrested and if you do a background check on him you will see a lot of fbi sealed cases . We really do wish you well . We are sorry you found this other school who is now taking advantage of you .

Negative experience: Old car Don't be a liar, I never asked for a free car. I don't care what you want to say. Whether I failed or not is not your problem. The problem is that you pay for the car and you have an old, rickety car, that's my complaint. OLD CAR......
Hi Katherine, I was nice speaking to you yesterday after you wrote this review. We are sorry to see that you didnt pass the road test but according to the dmv it was your observation that cost you your test. Per dmv, You also drove over a curb. The car had nothing to do with it. You also were asking the instructor how to do parking and k turns before you even stepped in the car to take your test. I know you asked for a free car yesterday and I was not able to give that to you because we would have to pay the instructor for the use of the car. The car you paid for you received a discount of 25.00 and only paid 75.00 for the car in the package when usually it's $100. Again, we are sorry you didnt pass your road test but you have the option to take it again. You did not purchase any lessons with us. As I mentioned yesterday to you when you picked up your certificate and requested your road test, I offered to book a lesson close to your test but you declined and said you did not want to pay for it. Taking a lesson is always beneficial and it will help you prepare for your test. If I can assist you any further, please don't hesitate to reach out to me, We do hope you try again.

Negative experience: Be weary of the fact that when you sign their so called contracts, you essentially give them the right to wipe any credits and purchases after exactly one year. Customers should be made aware of this when purchasing their lessons. But it is, apparently, in the fine print that no one reads. Also, leaving an honest review get's you doxxed by the company, so keep that in mind as well.
Hi Igor Zay You purchased a 4 lesson package with us 7/18/22. You completed all 4 lessons in 2022 . You then purchased two additional lessons on 11/29/22 . This was 2 years ago . On 1/20/23 you called and said you would be in to setup a road test but you never showed. Unfortunately, All packages expire within one year although we did extend the package another couple months for you . We inform our students of the expiration when you make the purchase to inform of all policies verbally and it’s also included in our contract . You mentioned “wipe” which means the credits get wiped off your account automatically once it’s over a year . You are never recharged as we don’t save any credit card numbers . We are sorry to hear that you are unhappy .

By owner ego…..CHANCE TO LOSE MONEY Check all the negative reviews and how the owner respond defending themselves you never right.!!BE AWARE before you chose this school.Impossible to use their website reach them on the phone impossible,they don’t checks email save yourself a time and find other school it’s been a month I purchased a package and finally after a month I got my credit for a lessons what I paid for a month ago.And guess what still can’t book a freaking driving lesson….IMPOSSIBLE to use this school I have 2 weeks till I have a road test and they’d just freaking ignore you .they just ripping you of and you get absolutely nothing…VERY DISAPPOINTING that I lost 370$ :((( Top of that I need it to paid other school who actually responded because we are millionaires yeay..and after this review they even DELETED MY ACCOUNT so the review made sense after all..IF you don’t want to LOSE MONEY GO CHOOSE OTHER DRIVING SCHOOL!!!!! Hi Nora You purchased your package on Saturday 10/19/24. You spoke to the office that same day . You told the representative you were not in a rush . You were then emailed our contract and credit card authorization form To sign and send back . On 11/5 you called and the representative advised you that they were still waiting for you to send your paperwork back this way you can start booking your appointments. You returned it last week 11/14. You called today to say you booked the car for road test with another school and need 3 lessons before 12/3. Today is 11/18. You said you would look online to book those lessons . That was the last we heard from you . You also said you can only do lessons weekends only and there is only this weekend and next weekend for you to complete 4 lessons since you already booked your road test for 12/3. The email you are referring to is not monitored. When you email it you always get an automatic email that says that . We also don’t understand how you say you couldn’t get in touch with us when we had multiple conversations with you. There were no voicemails left . We don’t ignore our customers ., I have emailed you this evening to speak about this and see how I can assist you. I am waiting to hear back from you. As of this morning which is the morning after you wrote this review, I haven’t heard back from you. We care about our customers. If there was an issue you could always reach out to me so I can assist you.
Fantastic experience: Great class I paid for the fast road test on Thursday and had my road test the following Tuesday! I rented their car and they were amazing!

Negative experience: Do not recommend. They have a policy to steal your money if you cant log in due to some circumstances. If you don't log in, then they steal your money. No rescheduling allowed. I have a hotel business, people cancel all their booking ALL THE TIME, but I never steal their money if they can't make it. The lie and told me to go online to reschedule, but the website will not do it. Then I called them to check about it, then was told I need to pay again. Based on my tremendous disappointment about not being allowed in the class at 4:05pm, and not getting my refund, I will have to call the bank and leave a negative review.

Hi. Who are you? Please call so we can help. We train all our students to pass the road test and as a licensed driver/ If we feel your not ready, we would tell you. You may have just got nervous. We don't guarantee passing because dmv is who tests you. We also don't have any packages that cost 800. Call us!! perhaps we can help.

Fantastic experience: Even though I only had Mike for one lesson he was a massive help in preparation for my road test. His way of parallel parking was the most consistent for me. He’s personable, funny, and a great instructor. I primarily had Laura and had Mansur for two lessons. They both set me up for success aswell. Can’t go wrong with this school as long as you stay proactive when setting up the dates for your lessons.

Negative experience: If they have minus 5 stars would’ve given them Worst experience ever! Had my Mom going for a driving test with Mike who was very rude and unprofessional! On top of the that he was taking pictures of my family and threatening them by saying “ I know your address” AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! Will be going to the police next.

Positive experience: I took most of the lessons from instructor Reggie, he thought me perfect way. I could give him 5 stars for lessons,. About Island driving school I can recommend this place but you have to beware about this ones. 01. Once you paid for the lessons it is really difficulty to book lessons as they do it online and lessons will be booked fast. 02. It will be confused if you get different instructors for different lessons cz each of them have different methods of teaching but it is good to have at least one lesson from different instructor. 03. if you are expecting the same car for the road test make sure let them know before booking the road test.
Thank you for reviewing our school, yes, we have a high volume of students and most are referrals, by offering an online scheduling, students can pick the same instructor or choose more than one, we normally will book the road test with the same instructor unless that instructor is not working the date we received from dmv which is close to the last lesson. .
Fantastic experience: I thoroughly enjoyed taking this class. It was very informative, comical and engaging. I appreciated that the instructor provided a lot of knowledge but also didn’t make the class boring.

Negative experience: Honestly. This school is a HOT mess. They will make you wait MONTHs to book your lessons then once they do book it , it’s not guaranteed because they will cancel or reschedule you for a different time and a different driver without even letting you know . I booked my lessons in February, I am NOW 6/21/2024 getting my 2nd lesson which has been rescheduled and they tried to cancel. They do not inform you that they are backed up before letting you pay for the lessons . Honestly just horrible 0/10 do not recommend. You guys did not call me as my call log shows I called you guys TWICE and left a voicemail. When I was informed about my lessons being switched I was never told it would be with a different Instructor or a different time . I have one email confirming for one time and then another email confirming a different time . I took one of my lesson this morning because you guys conviene it to a two hour lesson. And I had to PUSH for that to happen because you guys tried to make me look online to book my own classes after waiting weeks . I will try calling AGAIN tomorrow and see what happens . Like I said I DO NOT RECOMMEND
Hi Mya This is the second package you purchased with us . The second package you purchased was a 5 lesson package. You purchased this at the end of March and took your first lesson in April . You took two more lessons this morning . We confirmed this lesson with you via email and text message. The remaining two hours you have scheduled for this Sunday 6/23. Originally this 2 hour lesson was booked for a later time in the day . The instructor had changed their availability which unfortunately was out of our control. We called you and asked if you wanted to take the lesson a week earlier which you said you could not . We then offered you a lesson for the same day you were scheduled for but at an earlier time . You accepted that . Your lessons were all booked with the same instructor and we did not cancel them. We offered an earlier booking date or a different time on the same day to accommodate you . This was your choice completely. We did call you today but did not receive a call back . Please call us so we can discuss and resolve any issues you have .
Fantastic experience: after putting off driving for several years and many negative experiences with other driving schools, today i was finally able to take my road test comfortably and happily. everyone at the school is accommodating, kind, and mindful of the stress that learning to drive can put on someone. i always felt safe and listened to, and more importantly, comfortable and informed. thank you to the administration and all my driving instructors. i love u guys

They do nottttt have availability unless you check their website like social media and most adults have better things to do . They DO NO BOOK OVER THE PHONE FOR LESSONS .I was told that twicee and instead of a solution they emailed me a link to the website. They don't provide refunds because they know it's impossible to book a lesson within 3 months and no one plans to learn how to drive over the course of a year. Then to add fuel to the fire then decided to demean their competition by saying that they don't do free pickups and drop offs , Drive Rite and Alyaa driving do hour long lessons with free pick up and drop off .amd the packages can be booked in advance ,online and over the phone which Island driving school has lied about so far .Now attempting to lie again by saying they have availability for 6/7 .They do not you can see it on their website and in an attempt to stop me from posting their calendars that you as the customer need to check multiple times a day to book they've deleted my account while owing me 4 lessons or $250 back . Now whatever 74 year old owner thinks they're doing well by blocking and responding to low reviews in a snarky tone will be dealt with . Legitimately any other driving school wouldn't change their policy without updating the current customers attempting to book their packages except Island driving school ran by BERNADETTE V. Pretending like I didn't call for help when I keep phone calls records is ridiculous they refused to help cause they rather ignore you online and try to lie in the review to look better. Negative experience: Unless you can wait over 2 months In between lesson or check DAILY like the customer service has asked me too for THEIR website you won't be getting lessons. Also I was told my lesson package can remain for over a year ... it should never take a year for a school to teach you how to drive .Go to Alyaa academy or drive rite instead cause they have availability also when you call they can tell you when the next availability would be. The customer service department is some gay guy and this girl Danielle who takes to harassing people about paying what they were asked too over lesson they've never received and they believe I'm causing a problem by calling them out from all of my accounts. The only five stars they get are from the class that you can take online and if you try to call you legit get the run the around , EVERYONE DESERVES TO KNOW THIS SCHOOL HAS NOTHING DECENT TO OFFER AND THE DRIVERS RIDE IN OLD BEAT DOWN CARS BECAUSE INSTEAS OF REGULATIONS THEY ALLOW PEOPLE LIKE LENNY TO WALTZ IN AND LIE ABOUT OTHER SCHOOLS .Proofs in the pudding

You called today and we explained to you that we have transitioned to online scheduling to give the convenience to all of our students to book lessons 24 hours a day 7 days a week . There are plenty of lessons available for June , July and August as we release new lessons everyday. The soonest lesson available is this Friday 6/7. The lessons available in July are consistent with where dmv next available road test date is as dmv is about to release August road test dates . You told the representative you will not go on to book them. You also failed to ask us to help you book them and immediately asked for a refund and didn’t ask for assistance from a manager . It seems you have already made your decision as you researched two other schools who don’t have many student referrals as we do and who only provide 45 min lessons. These other schools also don’t provide pickup or drop off from your home for free like we do. We are sorry to see you go.
Negative experience: The worst business in Staten Island. Please stay away from this business. It takes a lot of time and energy to schedule an appointment online. People in the office are not willing to help, they say there is a schedule online but in fact the schedule does not have any availability until after 1 month. Supervisors do not respond to the email( the only way of communicating).

You have your second lesson scheduled for June and we offered you a two hour lesson for tomorrow which you declined.! You did Not ask for a supervisor. All of our students like the scheduling system because the system is available for booking 24 hours a day . We are sorry you don’t feel that way . The system is very easy to use . You did book three lessons on your own so based on that we are not sure why you feel it’s difficult . We spent a lot of time on the phone with you helping you . Despite island driving school being unable to provide service they will not refund the purchase. Absolute garbage service with unclear instructions of how to book on the website. You called us today and stated you have a road test scheduled for this upcoming Monday which is in 5 days and needed to rent a car. We advised you to cancel that road test date and we would help you rebook the test for a different day where we can provide the car for you. You declined. You purchased this car on our website on your own. It does state to call the school first before paying for the car so we can make sure we have a car available for the day and time you booked your road test for. You failed to do that. We did provide other options to you but as we were explaining them to you, you hung up on the representative. Negative experience: The driving instructors themselves are very good at their job, but actually getting lessons scheduled takes a ridiculous amount of time. I bought a lesson package and they took like 3-4 MONTHS to schedule them and they only schedules SOME lessons not all. I don't recommend unless you like wasting money or calling a business multiple times for a service you paid hundreds of dollars for. They NEED to improve on their scheduling because they're just stealing money from people.

Negative experience: 74 yr old man ripped off by thes eliars. On sat in one of there defense driving course. I'm told I can get a road test within one week. I buy an airline ticket based on this S I'm leaving this great state of ours to move to new mexico. I'm told that I can pay for everything but the fugaz e road test with a credit card but road test no it $160.00 must be paid in cash . And yes Even got a re empty. The woman explained I would get a call the day of the test. She's a liar, she has an assistant callme on wed.telling me my one week guaranteed road test would be the following Monday. I'm scheduled to leave on Sunday. These guys don't tell the truth.
EUGENE, You completed the 5 hour class and purchased a fast road test with me the owner and president of the company this past Saturday 04/20/24 . Please note: I am only 3 years younger than you. You signed up for a Fast road with the car which would give you a road test in 1 week. I told you the request would go in on monday 04/22 when dmv reopens. Dmv is closed on the weekends so weekends are always excluded as dmv does not test on the weekends. Your road test is scheduled for 4/29/24 which is exactly 1 week. My employee called you today to go over the road test date and time. We fulfilled our promise. You never said you were leaving the country otherwise I would have never taken your money. You also signed the fast road test form which indicates the time frame for a fast road test. The office is fully recorded and monitored and you did not disclose any vacation to me. I have also reviewed the recording and you did not mention you were leaving. I don't mislead my customers and I certainly don't take money if my students don't agree to it..We have provided everything you paid for. I don't know how you can say I am a LIAR. Negative experience: If I can give a no stars I would, worst company ever. They lure ppl in under false pretenses and than switch up later. The secretary or the person that answers the phone is unprofessional and has a passive aggressive attitude. Never seen a drivers school like this how are y’all still in business. Hi Alexis Clifton You called here today at 1257pm and was upset because we wouldn't give you free services. You are also reviewing a location you did not pay and did not correspond with until today for the first time. On 06/25/2023 you purchased a 5 hour class for 49.00. We provided you with free road test scheduling because you took the class with us. That is all the money you paid to the other office location. On 07/07/2023 you were provided your road test date of 07/17/2023 2pm in the dudgale location. You were given this information by text, email and verbally over the phone. 9 months later you are calling and asking for additional services that you did not pay for and want them for free. You got upset when we explained that to you. You then called the representative a "BITCH" and hung up the phone on her. The representative was not passive aggressive with you. She was simply just explaining that when services are given instructors need to be paid for their service. Our reviews written are from verified students who all have receipts and have had experiences with us. The amount of reviews we have could not possibly be from friends and family. You are only stating this because you want the school to provide free services.
Fantastic experience: The entire staff here were very helpful, friendly, and resourceful ! The teachers are great and the customer service from everyone is immaculate! I definitely will be referring my friends and family to Island Driving School ! I am now a NYC licensed driver and I couldn’t have done it without Island Driving School. Thanks guys!

Negative experience: I brought the holiday package which included 5 lessons leading up to the roast test. I was under the impression that my road test and lessons weren’t going to be more than 2 days apart. I understand everyone is busy and I also had a specific schedule so I did not mind having gaps in between my lessons. But my last lesson was scheduled a week before my road test. Aside from all of that, I had a different instructor for every lesson which I also was not expecting, maybe 2 different instructors was expected but 4 different people had me even more confused. I have no complains about the instructors, Reggie, Lenny, Laura, Michael were all very helpful and did their best but everyone has different ways of teaching. So I was driving a different car for every lesson. The scheduling overall was not the best, I am a bit disappointed cause I have spent almost $500 towards this. I did fail my first road test, I am responsible for my own driving but island driving school did not help much with it.
Hi Refaath I am sorry to hear that you didn’t pass your road test. Your purchased 5 lessons, 5 hr class,, car for test and road test appointment for $399. You did not pay us $500.. I see your lessons and road test were very consistent. Your first lesson was 03/26/24, second lesson 03/29/24, third lesson was 04/2/24, fourth lesson was 04/5/24 and 5th lesson was 04/9/24 and your road test was the following week today 04/16. When we book your driving lessons, we go off of island driving schools schedule. When we book your road test it goes off of the departments of motor vehicles availability. They don’t test any students on the weekends which is why your test was the following week. In terms of your lessons, we book your lessons according to your availability and the instructors. All of your lessons were In the same car except for one lesson. On the day of your road test you did use the same car that you did 4 hours of practice in. On your last lesson which was on 04/9/24, the instructor explained to you during the lesson that you were having issues mainly with your right turns. Your turns were wide due to under turning because you were afraid of the parked cars. Your left turns however were much better. The only other issue the instructor explained to you was when you did your parking you would forget to look in your blind spot. The instructor did tell you that you would benefit from an additional lesson so that you can perfect your turns before your road test. You mentioned to the instructor on 04/9 that you asked your parents to drive with you too because you knew you needed more practice but they didn’t want to drive with you. You said in your review that the instructors helped you a lot so it upsets us that you rated us so low. We are sorry you feel you didn’t pass your road test however we did check your results and they are not in yet as they don’t get posted until after 4pm today. We try to prepare each student the best we can but we can’t control how you will do on the test. Some students are ready but get nervous and others may need more lessons so don’t go into the road test confidently. We provide the tools to help you pass. We would like to speak to you about this. I will offer you a 10 percent discount to come back to us. I would love to help you get your license. I am here to help you and looking forward to hearing from you.

Negative experience: First off fall, I haven't received my refund yet. Don't lie that you haven't got paid. That's the literary first thing you guys do is trap your customer into ridiculous policies so no one can get their money back. Secondly, your management team absolutely SUCKS because you don't know how to keep your customer happy. Thirdly, your way of scheduling classes is absolutely JOKE like you have a calendar of the whole year in front of you and you can't see which spots are available? are you serious? and you can't tell the people availability before they purchase the classes? Either your whole management is Dumb or you thing your all customers are dumb enough to fall for your payment policies. If you tell your customer upfront for the days that are available they will be much happier instead of making them wait for 2 - 3 months. I don't know how you have 4.5 rating.
Hi hira Balouch You did not give us your availability until February 2024. You also requested weekends only for lessons . All three lessons were booked for March and April . We sent you your schedule Feb 2024. You then disputed the charge with your credit card company on March 4, 2024. The money was returned to your bank account . We don’t have your money therefore we can’t give you services for free . UPDATE: You had all your lessons scheduled and then rescheduled. you disputed the charge again on 03/30/2024. The bank is still reviewing it. We are willing to give you the services once it get resolved but as of right now we don't have any of your money. It is very rude for you to call management " DUMB" when the reason you are not driving is all from your own actions .If we don't have your money, how can we ask your instructors to work for free. Per the credit card company, it can take up to 45 days for a resolution. We will contact you back when we hear back from the credit card company
Negative experience: Island Driving school is terrible and every meaningless response by people that works there towards people experience with this institution is just disgusting. I booked a 5 driving lessons package with you guys since Feb 15th and every week I’ve called to see when my classes are scheduled someone else gives me a different response. The fact that you trained your employees to tell people that you have to wait almost three months or a period of an estimated 8 weeks to get one class is absurd!! The fact that you speak on a contract that most people don’t see until after you’ve purchase your package online is again absurd!! I am warning people to not waste their time and money with this place. The only good thing about this place is Bob and his 5 hour class.I will dispute my charges with the bank and probably won’t get my money back. But I am sure that other people with read this review and realize that they should think twice before signing their kids up to take lessons at Island driving School in Staten Island. Now I’ll wait for the stupid response from probably the owner or an employee who will try to diminish my actual demise.
Hi Leesha Our lessons are not 3 months out and all policies are displayed on our website prior to making any payment . We make sure all students are informed ahead of time . In terms of our process , my scheduling team book lessons based on your availability and the instructors availability and make sure the lessons are consistent with the date dmv gives us for your road test.DMV road test dates are always 6-8 weeks out for road tests. That is something unfortunately we can’t control . Your lessons are all booked. These lessons get booked by my scheduling team. I am not sure what my employee told you but if you called on the phone you didn’t speak to scheduling. You would have spoken to the receptionist or one of my customer service representatives. I would love the opportunity to speak to you so that I can resolve your issue. Normally when students have issues they contact me for help and not go to google. I did not receive any call asking to speak to a manager. Please call me tomorrow when my office reopens so I can assist you .

I do wish you could choose the road test location site because there was a site closer to me that would’ve been better and more efficient than having to travel a greater distance.

Negative experience: I find it absolutely absurd that you responded to my review with your poor customer service yet AGAIN! Still coming at ME ,the customer who is PAYING you for services! Let me begin with this, you have OVER 50 bad reviews on this site alone! I had to stop scrolling after 50 bc frankly I was getting upset with myself that I didn't check the reviews prior to trusting your bad establishment. What does that tell you? Maybe you need an education on what customer service means. To pick up with my daughter cancelling her original road test appointment bc she had 1 of her 3 lessons that was useless and didn't feel ready after only 2 lessons. (No, you wouldn't credit her either so that was a waste of time and money ) Yes we decided to reschedule, however you apparently asked for $20 to book another road test (and why are you charging when it's totally free on the DMV site) why in the world would we give you $20 when at that time the additional lessons have yet to be scheduled? When we first booked with your horrible school , you told us that once my daughter COMPLETED her lessons is when the road test would be scheduled, so again, why would we give you any more money when the lessons have yet to be booked? Again, another scam to collect money from innocent ppl. The only reason my daughter came in on 2/27 with $20 is bc you were holding her hostage to pay. Let me ask you this which I believed I emphasized to you when I came into your office and was treated like I was a second class citizen, (she had completed her additional lessons at this time), so why would you have even booked her lessons to begin with without receiving the $20 as you should have known as the professionals she needed a road test following the last lesson. Now her additional lessons were complete and you inform her she needs to bring in $20 and road tests are booked out now at 4-6 weeks? Again, a total scam , you knew very well at that point she would again need to freshen up on her lessons making more money for yourselves. You are totally contradicting yourself with your BULL that all road tests are 6-8 weeks. Try reading back your first response to me where YOU clearly remind us that her lessons were 11/26, 11/28 and 12/3 yet wow her road test was scheduled for 12/4. There was NO 6-8 week wait time. Again why would you book her lessons if she didn't pay the $20? As for us booking through DMV ourselves, there was no cancellations , we had many many options of dates and times to pick from beginning with 3/7. March 7th was completely open with multiple choices for times. I welcome anyone reading this to check out the DMV site and see for yourself the availability. Now, let me know when you will be returning my daughters $20 plus the $100 fee for the use of the driving school vehicle. Interesting how that money was never credited back to my credit card. Here is another clue for you, if a customer is upset, whether right or wrong, it is YOUR job as customer service to remedy the situation, instead when I was heated in your office telling you this was the WORST DRIVING SCHOOL EVER, what did you do as the OWNER of the establishment, you started yelling at me for my comment. Guess what, it is not my job to have to be respectful to YOU, are you telling me every one of your customers is SO respectful? That's how businesses work, some customers are nice, some not so nice, it's still your job to accommodate us and to rectify the situation as there was a situation with one of your clients and you did nothing to correct it or try to correct so your customer was satisfied. I never once used foul language either when in your establishment, I was very upset at how we were treated and yep I walked out and gave you the bird, boo hoo and what did you do? you came running out of the store when I was halfway down the block calling me a loser? WHEN YOU BOOK A ROAD TEST ON YOUR OWN, YOU ARE BOOKING BASED ON YOUR OWN CAR AND NOT THE SCHOOLS CAR. IN ADDITION TO THAT WE DID TELL YOU AND YOUR MOTHER WE WOULD BOOK THE SOONEST DATE DMV HAS. THE REPRESENTATIVE WAS NOT RUDE AND WAS SIMPLY EXPLAINING THE PROCESS. YOU DID NOT AGREE WITH THAT BUT WE HAVE NO CONTROL OVER THE TIME FRAME. IF THE 20 WAS PAID WHEN IT WAS DISCUSSED ON 11/30/23, YOU WOULD NOT HAVE HAD ANY ISSUE AND THEREFORE WE WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN TREATED RUDELY BY YOUR MOTHER. SHORTLY YOU AND YOUR MOTHER WALKED IN AND YOUR MOTHER STARTED SCREAMING AND YELLING AND USING PROFANITY AND DISRESPECTING THE ENTIRE OFFICE. YOUR MOTHER FELT SHE SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY THE ROAD TEST RESCHEDULING FEE. YOUR MOTHER CURSED OUT THE OWNER OF THE COMPANY AND GAVE HER THE MIDDLE FINGER... HAD YOUR MOTHER NOT DISRESPECTED THE OWNER, SHE WAS WILLING TO OFFER A FREE FAST ROAD TEST . SHORTLY AFTER YOU LEFT 02/27/24, WE CALLED YOU AND YOU DID NOT RETURN THE CALL.
