Fantastic experience: We had a wonderful experience with Cruise Control with both of our kids. My daughter just finished her driving school with Jim Jurewicz, which was a wonderful experience. She spoke so highly of him, felt very relaxed driving with him, and appreciated his very thoughtful gift that he gives his students. Also, he gave her lots of great pointers. Thank you, Jim!

Fantastic experience: We had a great experience with Cruise Control. Jim was great, our son really enjoyed working with him. He was kind enough to give our son a seatbelt/window tool at the end of the course which was greatly appreciated. He offered a lot of practical advice. The simplicity of getting a license after was a nice bonus. We would highly recommend Cruise Control.

Fantastic experience: Mr. Jurewicz, was extremely professional and a great communicator. Kaitlyn, our daughter, had a wonderful experience and learned a lot. I would recommend Mr. Jurewicz to anyone. I also wanted to take a moment to thank him for his service as a veteran of the United States military.

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful time and learned very much. The people were kind and patient, and did a lot to help me get my license.

Negative experience: Wasn’t going to leave a review but since they are unable to even communicate with their own instructors I felt it now necessary to hopefully open them up to change. Horrible communication. Lack of response and nonchalant attitude to genuine concerns. Ridiculously long wait periods that were not mentioned beforehand until they changed their website after the fact to include it. I assume because people were complaining. We cancelled and went with a different company a few weeks ago and they didn’t even have the decency to tell their own instructor that the lesson was canceled so he shows up at our door at 7am today. Poor management to say the least. I have no idea how they have so many positive reviews.

Fantastic experience: Great School. My daughter passed her test and is becoming a good driver. It is extremely tough to schedule hours though, we were able to get it done just over her 180 days but it took a bit more work and persistence on my part to get her on their calendar. Our Instructor Dewitt was really good and seemed to have amazing patience. I will recommend despite the scheduling challenges as its a good product and they came though in the end.

Negative experience: Incredibly unprofessional. They accept way too many students in relation to instructors, so it's always a battle to sign up for a class. Sometimes, they change how it works with no warning. If you don't sign up within 10 minutes, they're always taken. I was unable to sign up this last time because, with no warning, they change sign ups to a pre-scheduled one. This week, they still haven't even posted the lessons 10 minutes later, and I've gotten no email about why and no text back after asking. They don't treat customers with any sort of care, even though it costs $500.

Fantastic experience: An Amazing experience overall. Mary did a great job as the instructor for the online portion and Jim was an amazing driving instructor. Everyone was super respectful, nice, and overall I enjoyed my time even if it was short lived. All instructions were easy to follow as long as you go in with a little bit of knowledge on the cars mechanics (going forward, reversing, turning) and maneuvers were explained very well in a manner that made sense. Experience was a 10/10

Fantastic experience: I had my first 8 hours class my instructor was Mike, he’s very good with keeping us engaged and good at explaining scenarios. Mike also is big on doing why right the first time and to stay focuse and just drive. Well done Mike and Cruise Control.

Fantastic experience: We spent a few weeks trying to find the right driving school, however we went to Cruise Control was so welcoming. I really enjoyed the online class. It may seem like it is going to be so long and boring, but it goes by fast because it was amazing. Mike was an amazing teacher.

Fantastic experience: Overall, great experience. Mike who teaches the online class makes it a great time and fun. Great communication with the people who run Cruise Control. And Jim my driving instructor was amazing and made the process fun, efficient, and really helped me learned my skills. Had a great experience with in the car my instructor was super patient and really cared about helping me get my license. If you get Jim or any of the driving instructors you will do great.

Fantastic experience: After two failed driver attempts through the SCDMV’s road testers, we hired Cruise Control. Cruise Control (Mr. Jerry) made the behind the wheel sessions easy and prepared our child for the road test. We went straight to the DMV and got the license same day. We found that the DMV road testing (Ladson office) people to be rude and VERY picky. Cruise Control is the way to go to train your driver right!

Fantastic experience: I loved meeting my teacher's adorable dog Teddy, who has the cutest smile, and I learnt a lot about the consequences of drunk driving and/or driving while distracted. It was enjoyable, and the eight-hour class felt like it flew by.

Fantastic experience: I am so unbelievably happy with my experience with this company. Ms. Mary taught an 8 hours class that was fun, energetic, and informative. She made 8 hours feel like nothing! I was supposed to be with a different instructor who unfortunately couldn’t get to me due to family matters. I was blessed to be placed with ms. Cynthia. There are no simple words to describe how amazing this woman is! She will teach you things you won’t learn anywhere else and she knows exactly what you need to do to pass because she herself was a former DMV employee. She has so many great qualities i can’t even think of where to start. She has so much spunk. If you mess up she will look at you like “cmon now you know better” and you’re sitting there like.. “dang you’re right i DO know better”. She’s funny, an amazing teacher, thorough, present, empathic, kind, understanding, informative, a little sassy lol, blunt in the best way possible, and just a whole lotta fun to be around. I didn’t feel uncomfortable at all during my experience with her and after my third lesson and test, I was actually sad knowing I wouldn’t be able to show her my new car or talk to her anymore. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Ms. Cynthia, you gave me the freedom, confidence, courage, and happiness i’ve been longing for. You are a true gem in this world and we need more people like you. I wish you all the happiness and joy in the world!! Fantastic experience: We cannot say enough good things about Cruise Control. The online course was convenient and my daughter said it was good which is a high compliment from a teen that is taking an 8 hour course! Both of her instructors, Rodney and TK, were patient and kind. They were encouraging and were able to really work with her on areas that we could not help too much with. I am the worst parallel parker. Now she is better than I an. Mary in the office was very responsive and understanding and worked with our schedule to ensure she was able to get her lessons in. This was a completely different experience than we had with another driving school in Mt. Pleasant. I would highly recommend this service to anyone that is looking for a driving school for their teen!

Fantastic experience: Jim Jurewicz was our daughter's driving instructor. He is extremely professional, organized, always on time, and it is obvious he enjoys what he does. He has a true desire to make sure his students are ready to not only pass the road test, but learn how to drive safely and defensively. He is a wealth of information with regards to the process and necessary paperwork, but more importantly , he didban outstanding job making our daughter feel comfortable and confident behind the wheel. He is knowledgeable and supportive throughout the entire process. It meant so much that he communicated not only with our daughter and us individually, but also as a unit so we were all on the same page. Our daughter will be the first to tell you she was hesitant for her first lesson, but she says Jim made her feel safe, secure and was patient. We highly recommend Cruise Control, and especially Jim, as a driving instructor. Our experience was top notch!

I would recommend him and the business to anyone that needs assistance. I feel comfortable behind the wheel now and I have my drivers license.

If you are on the fence choose Cruise Control driving school! Update: My son did his driving lessons with TK. He was awesome too. My son said, unlike me, TK was calm and did not yell. He taught him a lot in a short period of time. This company is top notch with good people working here. Def recommend 100%!

He paced the class in a way so that it always had energy and good vibes throughout the day. He made funny jokes to lighten the mood and was overall a delight to be around. They will go above and beyond to ensure you are successful and a safe driver. My behind the wheel session with Mr.Terry Keller made me more confident! His driving lessons and tips were easy to follow and extremely helpful! Despite my busy schedule at my job ,they worked with me patiently to get me behind the wheel sessions that fit my schedule as soon as possible.

Fantastic experience: good stuff, Mary Thomas was very nice and wasn't monotone or anything like that. definitely would recommend. she made sure to be thorough about everything, and repeated things and answered when asked. still have yet to take the on road practice with them, but based off of the online meeting I'm looking forward to it.

Fantastic experience: I'm an 843 Let's Drive student. I took the Cruise Control Driving class for 8 hours online. Our teacher, Mary Thomas, is very outgoing, friendly and chill. The videos we watched were very informative; although, it is outdated. I can't think of any other negatives. I recommend this place for learning about driving.

Highly recommend Mr. Dewitt for anyone looking to schedule in North Mount pleasant. He is the best!

Fantastic experience: Mike is an tremendous teacher and is incredibly funny. Feels more like talking with a friend about road safety than learning about it. Learning from him feels more like learning with him and his teaching is very relaxed yet knowledgeable.
