Fantastic experience: Elvis and carlos were great! I passed on my first try! I have no regrets coming to this driving school. Mercedes was also very helpful and friendly staff was great!

Negative experience: They tell you that you should already know how to drive (even when you are just starting). They tell you to stop, so that they can take pictures of nice houses. They tell you that the car needs to get fixed and that they need to take the car to the auto-shop (DURING YOUR CLASS-TIME) and if they are late, they don't give you that missed time back (45 mins class turned into 30 minutes). They see this as a get-rich quick scheme. They are all really unprofessional, but Carlos has a really disgusting attitude and points his fingers at you and looks away like you are messing up his day. And then he side-eyes you and looks at your clothes like that is one more reason to hate you. Incredibly poor excuse for a human-being.

Negative experience: Had a bad experience with the instructor Carlos. The other two instructors were great. But Carlos seemed racist (b/c I'm not latino) and as if he has anger problems. Made me quite uncomfortable during lessons and its like he didn't enjoy his job. His attitude and unfriendliness, which I'm not sure why he had one because I personally didn't do anything to cause it, was very unnecessary. Nobody wants to be around negative energy when they are paying for lessons.

Positive experience: Passed my road test on the first try with no driving experience. I paid for like 8 lessons because I don’t have another car to practice with outside of this school compared to others. It’s important to study all the steps to achieve 3 point turns/parallel parking (this school provides an easy cheat sheet) because that will be performed on your road test. I’m now on the road already because Carlos was a great informative instructor. He pushes you to succeed and you will by simply following his instructions! I drove alone for the first time one month after getting my license and I immediately remembered everything Carlos told me as soon as I sat in the driver’s seat! I definitely recommend this school!

Fantastic experience: Great advice and tips from the drivers and for a good price.

Negative experience: Instructor (Carlos) was very annoyed and did not want to be there. Instructor was frustrated at my lack of experience & thought that I should know what I was doing. He was upset and decided to take it out on me, because I am very calm. It was a classic, "This guy is very nice, so I am going to mess with him." Don't spend your money here. Go to a better school!

Fantastic experience: Came to First Class to buy a few driving classes to practice as its been years since I last drove after obtaining my license. Carlos was my instructor and he was great! Fantastic experience: You’re probably looking at different driving schools and seeing which one is the perfect fit for you which was me about a month ago and just passed my exam today! I am the type of person who needs an instructor who is there to not waste time and to actually TEACH you how to drive because they care and aren’t there for a check. Carlos was my favorite teacher out of all of them for very good reasons: very stern and direct but understanding at the same time/Will show you different ways and scenarios if something happens/gives honest feedback on what needs to be worked on for the next time(and remembers and will make you do them first 10mins of lesson)/and a very wonderful person to get to know once you guys warmed up to each other. At the end of the day Carlos knows why he’s there , you just need to know why you’re there as well and take it seriously. I couldn’t have done it with him . If you cannot handle intense pressure in doing well then this man will not be for you . But just let me tell you one thing , if you choose him and if you practice everything to a tea on what he tells you to do then you will pass on the first try just how I did !

Fantastic experience: I meant to leave a review sooner, kept forgetting to leave my thoughts to possibly help other people but i wanna start off by saying if you’re looking to come to this driving school, I strongly recommend, both instructors have their own strategies for teaching you and they both help a decent bit, i went to this driving school without a lot of knowledge of how everything works and ended up passing the road test the first time i took it, they had me feeling like i was ready to take my road test by the second appointment but yea, that’s my thoughts, hopefully this helped !!

Fantastic experience: I got a package deal to teach me how to drive for my road test. I took ten classes. I just passed my road test first try! They really explain to you how to drive, the rules of the roads and tips on how to improve your driving. I had both Carlos and Elvis help me and they both have their own good ways of teaching. Fantastic experience: Best driving school in the city hands down! What initially brought me in was how affordable the packages are. I researched a couple of schools and there's a significant difference in pricing. I appreciate how sweet and helpful Tiffany is, from the moment I met her and every encounter after I was always greeted with a sweet Hello, Melissa. I never realized how meaningful it is for someone to take the time to know you by name especially considering how many other students she sees on the daily. I purchased the the 10 lessons package and took most of my lessons with Carlos and let me tell you! He is going to tell you how it is no sugar coding and that's what I like. That's what I needed! His instructions are beyond clear. He completely changed my perspective when it comes to driving. He literally knocked the anxiety out of me. Carlos said believe in yourself, have confidence and worst case scenario DON'T GIVE UP! I went to my road test with that mentality and guess what I PASSED! I couldn't be any happier. Also shout out to the other instructor Elvis he is really nice and chill. He was the one who drove us to the road test. He took the time to go over everything using a little white board while we waited for our turn. That was the cherry on top. They set me up for success and I am forever grateful. Fantastic experience: Coming into this school I came with zero knowledge of knowing how to drive a car. I started my classes with Elvis , he is very soft spoken and gentle, just the type of instructor needed for a first time driver ! While breaking my fear of being behind a car Elvis was gentle and understanding, and guided me into feeling comfortable behind a wheel. Half way through my 10 class package I was switched over to instructor Carlos, it’s a hard switch , it’s like a switch between fire and ice. Instructor Carlos is more firm and straight forward , nonetheless after breaking out of my shell this is exactly what I needed ! Instructor Carlos helped me build my confidence up and perfect my craft behind the wheel . He is very knowledgeable and makes sure his students know more than what’s needed. Both instructors come with their own unique set of teaching skills and I am delighted with the classes I have taken!

Fantastic experience: Let me just say First Class Driving School Is One of the BEST driving schools in the Bronx hands down. It is a Very Good School! They have 2 very great instructors! I had a total of 10 lessons (7) Carlos & (3) Elvis, and both had a lot of patience and are very nice but to the point. They helped me to be confident as a driver! The very first lesson Carlos and I practiced parallel parking and 3 point turn and the rest was history! If I had to do it all over again, I would most definitely come to this location. Took my road test today and I passed !!! I definitely recommend coming to this school very affordable and they work with your schedule!

I felt relaxed and comfortable while taking the classes and I only took 5. Driving was something that was fairly new to me but they made me feel confident on the day of the road test.

Fantastic experience: I just passed my road test thanks to First class driving school 2. They really helped me out with understanding the road and how to drive. At first it was a little difficult but was able to learn very quickly. There were different classes I was able to take with different teachers. I was able to get different perspectives from different teachers and was able to learn a lot, I would highly recommend this school. And I was able to pass my road test for the first time but as long as I would remember everything the school taught me, I was gonna be fine. Fantastic experience: Hands down let Remigio Ramírez be your teacher. I had 9 lessons with him and each week I felt more confident. A teacher is a person who is patient, builds your confidence, acknowledges when your learning he doesn’t make you feel small or stupid when you make a mistake. Fantastic experience: This is the place if you want to learn everything there is to know about driving. From mechanics to driving on the road. My driving instructor is Remgio. This guy is the best. He has taught me everything. He takes time with you to make sure you understand things such as parallel parking, steering control, 3.0 turn, etc. He has great Patience. His attentive , professional, nice, patient and overall the best. He has this uplifting and positive energy that it makes the experience of learning less scary and more more easygoing. I was scared to get in a car but as soon as I got in a car with Elvis I started to feel more comfortable because he likes to help his students but one of the things that helped me get rid of my fear was that he also communicates about other things to distract your nerves but to help you gain your own trust behind the wheel. Fantastic experience: I appreciate this driving school to the fullest. I passed my road test because of this driving school and I appreciate the help from instructors Mr. Elvis and Remigio !! They were helpful with my parallel parking and confidence to pass my road test. The receptionist was also comforting and very helpful throughout the process. Also, the way they handle their appointments was very convenient. Pretty dope driving school!
