Lowest Price Traffic School

Negative experience: Their advertised low price is not their true price. The cheapest rate you can pay is $39. This does not include immediate access to your certificate. You can have that emailed for $20 and also you have it sent to the DMV immediately for $1 at a discounted rate. But do they really do this I am unsure as I never received the text message I paid to receive with my certificate number. The course was easy and convenient but I am sure it is the same test offered by more honest sites.

Negative experience: This website is a hidden scam, cheap only has the name...they offer a price that in the end you are paying 3 times its price, hidden charges...that make no sense. How can they charge for sending a certificate via e-mail the same as the course cost??? Don't even think about failing a course test...you will have to pay the price of the course again!!! unheard!! The questions in the final test are designed so that you fail, even if it is open book you would not find the answer because they change the context of it, in short I do not recommend it at all, they are a scam designed to charge a $40 course for $120 . rating: 0 starts

Negative experience: Absolute trash. They ask and ask and ask for you to buy their services and on top of that have the audacity to ask for a tip. It was advertised that the defensive driving course was 25 dollars. So I went for it and everything was well until it kept on asking to buy their services. Not only that I had to pay an additional 40 bucks to receive my certificate through email, it was either that or wait 30 days. This website is the embodiment of scam, greed, misleading, and just disgusting. In total I had to pay $80 for a “$25” driving course, just to do the course, receive my certificate through email and have audio. I don’t ever leave reviews on anything but this is the absolute worst and I want people to know so they don’t fall into this trap. Do your self a favor and take your business elsewhere. Wish I read the reviews before I fell for their “$25” course

Negative experience: The 4 hour course advertises at 29.99 approximately. They want extra for everything, faxing, emailing, texts, etc. The ending exam is made so difficult, no one can pass so they charge you an additional 39.99 to retest and it doesn't give you access to the material, only the test, so you can't go back and study prior to retesting. When all said and done at $138.00 later. I do not recommend this course to anyone!

The cheapestinFlorida.com will do it for 10$ LPTS, which is taking advantage of people in desperate situations and overcharging to make a profit off of it. Shameful. And a whole nother 30$ charge to retake your test if you fail.

I have been waiting on the phone for over 20 minutes and no one will answer. This company needs to be held accountable for ripping people off.

I’ve been helping someone w/ this & we can relate to all the negative reviews I wish we took our time & money elsewhere. $6 course is only to catch your attention & once they have it, be prepared to pay $50+ w/ all their add on fees that aren’t optional. Unfortunately, doesn't end there. Once you complete your course you have to pay an additional $20 to get a copy emailed to you. You can have it mailed to you for free, but it can take up to 30 businesses day?? & no tracking. It’s been 20+ days & no sign of the certificate. Not sure what kind of USPS mailing within the states takes 30 plus days. So makes you wonder if they are even sending them or just making you wait long to receive it via mail so you have no choice but to pay more $$ to have them email a copy to you. The only plus is they did email a copy right away once the additional payment was made over the phone. One last thing, to get a hold of them via the phone you will be lucky to not have to wait 40 plus minutes listening to what felt like every minute of the automated voice telling you someone will get to you shortly. He got your hopes up every time he told you “thank you for waiting.” There are plenty of other businesses that will appreciate you & cost a fraction of the price.

Negative experience: Absolute garbage!!! You can’t reach anyone on the phone and you’ll sit there waiting for over an hour each time. They drop the call. You call right back and another hour wait. They do not do the certificates requirement uploads as they should and they do not provide any info if you are to upload it yourself. The customer support email, replies 2 days after submitting an email for help. I gave it a star because I’m forced to rate it 1-5. I wouldn’t have gave them anything!!

Negative experience: They did charg me 2 times for doing the course and one more time to emailing me my certificate!! I did need that certificate and they are just putting charge on my card for that. I am not sure how safe is this business but I would avoid going to their site.

Then there is a $29 fee so it ends up costing around $37, then they do not tell you that you will have to pay for the certificate to be emailed to you. They charge another $39.95 to have the certificate printed and another $10 to notify the dmv. The pricing is very deceptive. Stay away. It costs close to $86 in total. Awful!!!!

Negative experience: Buyer Beware. I wish I had read the reviews before I bought their services for my son. Bait and switch with low prices then added fees. It was difficult to cancel the monthly fee for the study guides. Be careful if you buy the study guides because they will keep charging you indefinitely. I would give 0 stars if I could.

Negative experience: Absolute scam. They are one of the highest prices after they nickle and dime you. They charge $40 just to get an emailed certificate. The only free certificate option is USPS mail and they put a disclosure saying it could take between 11-30 days to process and they and then say it can be even later than that because USPS fails its target time. All of it is designed to scare you into paying an additional $40. Their course is around $6 then they charge you a processing fee of $40 and then to get an emailed certificate in a reasonable time they charge you another $40, so that in total you'll end up paying: $80-90 for the course. They have a lot of other addons too, that if you chose them (and they scare you that you need them) your total cost will be closer to $140. Its really a gross and deceptive business practice that bank on fear to extort people taking their course to make money. Definitely pick a traffic school course with costs upfront, so you wont fall into their scam. If this review helps even one person avoid them, Ill be happy.

Charging extra fees for every little “bonus feature”. I ended up paying $40, and elected to have the certificate mailed to me instead of paying $20 for an email with the pdf. Because why would I pay $20 for something that can be mailed to me for free in “7-10 business days” as their website clearly advertises. In FL, you have a month from the ticket date to submit your certificate in order to get the points off your license. I did the course almost 3 weeks before the certificate was due. So of course I can wait 7-10 business days and save $20 right!?? Wrong! They claim “USPS often looses mail”, (Which is funny bc other businesses have little issue with USPS and that’s never been the case in my experience). I wait two weeks before not receiving the certificate in the mail, and then I send them a message through their website asking for an update on the mailed certificate because I hadn’t received it yet. I got NO response from them. And then two days before the month is up and the window is almost passed for me to be able to submit the certificate to the court in order to get the points off my license, I decide to give in and pay the stupid $20 in order to get an email copy. Reluctantly, I pay the $20 and take the certificate to the courthouse. I come to find out they’ve already received the certificate almost a week ago. So I actually didn’t need to pay $20 for this certificate and I never actually received the mailed certificate. The LPTS did not tell me that they would be sending the certificate to the DMV which then the court automatically gets. So I wait on hold for 30 minutes to be able to talk to a real person through their 1800 number, Only for them to tell me that there’s nothing that they will do (even though they never communicated the details properly and falsely advertised 7-10 day postal mailing) and they said will not issue a refund for the $20 for the electronic copy. Absolutely ridiculous and a scam. Do Not Use them.

Their website isn’t easy to navigate and once you realize you’ve been assessed more charges, it kicks you out and your password doesn’t work anymore. Now I’ve been charged $50 instead of $5.95, and I can never reach anyone to dispute the charges. I do not know how they are still in business but PLEASE stay away if you can. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!!!

There is $39.95 process and email the state of Florida. Then to get the completion certificate is another $39.95 to have it emailed to yourself. In addition, they ask for a TIP too. There are several other offers they try to get you to buy before you even get to the course. By the time you are done it could cost $100 dollars. I called competitor all inclusive was $24.95 plus tax.

They charge $28 for the defensive driving course, but only after you've paid and they've removed the money, they then tell you that it will cost you $50 to email the certificate. But! Waiting until the end they will eventually offer you 50% off, which is still $20! They then try and offer you dozens of other options to take your money. They lie and say that ordering the driving record from the DMV can take up to a month through the mail, but the DMV emails you and lets you download the certificate for free. They also ask multiple times for a tip and try and trick you into paying for more options by having it automatically selected.

They force you to pay before anything is done, then they add on another $39 in “fees”. Then.. if you want it sent to your email it’s another $39 then to send to the DMV it’s another $10. Do not use them! There are plenty of online traffic courses for $30 or less that also include an emailed copy as well as proof to the clerks/dmv. THEN THEY ASKED FOR A TIP!!! . $90 plus later after advertising for $5.94. I don’t know how this is state approved. The state approves of them overcharging for a course that is so much cheaper on ANY other site.

Negative experience: While they did help me get the points removed for my ticket, the "lowest price" part of their name is ludicrous. They charged me $40 to EMAIL me my certificate!! And the $ 5.95 charge you for EVERYTHING!! So the course is $40, the email is $40, notification is $5.95, clerical cost is $5.95, the voice over class is $5.95. And there was another charge for $10. I was able to dispute. Like I said, they did help me out, but they really helped themselves to my wallet too!! I think I'll watch my speed and go to a different school if it happens again.

On the phone, the individual assisting me was rude and not patient with me. Their "lowest price" advertising is not true, as they make you pay them for the completion certificate and try to sell you on 10 other offers after your completion. And their interface is difficult to understand at best. Won't ever be using this platform again.

They get you to put in your payment information for one price and then they switch it to another without you being able to confirm it, charging you WAY more than the package price you initially signed up for. They advertise a low price on the website, you click the package and even if you deny all the fees they try to tack on, they still hit you with $49.90 in hidden fees. I called them to discuss these "fees" that they don't even explain on the invoice and asked them why it wasn't mentioned on their front page where they show the package pricing...and I was told.. "If you look below the packages there's a small asterisk, if you click learn more, it tells you about these fees." If they want to have slimy bait and switch advertising, fine. However, to not even show me these fees and allow us to confirm them before charging my payment option should be illegal. I should have the right to confirm all fees and charges BEFORE it charges my payment option. Absolutely DISGUSTING!

Negative experience: Don't trust there $5.95 advertised prices. $61.94 was my total with free USPS shipping. A lot of add on fees. If I wanted to receive the certificate (it will be sent to DMV electronically any way) trough Fed Ex it will be additional $45.00.

Negative experience: DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES!!!! They will save your credit information and keep charging you. An email for certificate which was already paid for $37.95 is additional cost $39.95 and $14.95 for text notifications on top of the cost for $37.74, I will be reporting them to the BBB for scam.

Negative experience: definitely not the lowest around as they try and up-charge you for everything. $40 for them to email it to you is a joke...then they claim delivery service for free estimated 11-30 days...

Positive experience: I had one of my kids take their 4 hour drug and alcohol and they have yet to electronically send the passing results to the dmv. They gave the option to have the certificate mailed usps or emailed but the state only allows electronic results. After many calls, we have yet to have them follow through. I will be requesting a refund if the results are not submitted within the next few days. It’s horrible that my kid has to sit through another 4 hours. Completely ridiculous! Edited to say: After multiple phone calls to customer service, the electronic results were sent to the dmv. It’s been months and I have yet to receive the paper results so it’s a good thing I didn’t have to wait for that. I will go from 1 star to 3 because of the low cost but also the inconvenience. I guess you get what you pay for.

Negative experience: Please be careful when choosing a company for the traffic school. It tells you that it is cheap but the reality is it's not cheap at all since if you don't pass it they charge you $30 more. It seems to me that they are scammers because you can a mistake the first time, but the second exam one is more careful and reads better and even though it takes me about an hour and a half and I go back to review it. I come back and get the same thing s the previous one. It does not make sense.

Fantastic experience: Overall, it was a great way to study for the test. Awesome service, they did refund the money. There is an open book option available, so you can review and read while taking a test. Great experience.

Negative experience: Low rates is to produce traffic to site 19.95 quickly turns in 50.00 and they are very unclear on retake for written it’s $40+ every retake. It’s cheaper to just go to the DMV. Then they ask you to tip at the end starting at 5$

Fantastic experience: I don't understand all the negative reviews, I only paid $5 plus the state required $30. The course itself was great and easy to follow. I even had to call their customer service for a problem arising from getting a ticket in a different state than the one my Driver's License was issued. They answered quickly and fixed my issue. My Drivers license went from 'cancelled' to 'valid' within 30 minutes of completing the course! Thanks guys, you are awesome!

Negative experience: This school is a hidden fee nightmare. Do not use this School for traffic violations. As soon as I flipped to the next page they charge your card with only the basic information. The advertise the cheapest price but like what others have said they add money on the back end. They have stated they are going to give me a refund because of the miss leading information. I will be reporting back on this if I receive the refund.

Negative experience: THEY SIGN YOU UP FOR A MONTHLY FEE!! Nasty, sneaky, greedy, corrupt company. Watch your total at checkout - their site will automatically add all kinds of items to your order AND they automatically sign you up for a monthly $9.95 "subscription" which must be hidden in their verbage somewhere to make it legal. Customer service just recites the same script over and over when you call them out. I've made my child's school (who recommended this site) about their practices, and they removed them from their recommended sites. Gross.

Negative experience: This is actually the grossest scam I have ever witnessed, built to take advantage of the lower class members of society who need to get a license, don't use it. 75$ upfront, not to mention the fact that the DMV permit test is conveniently down and how once you actually finish the course it just starts begging and begging for money, 30$ for an emailed certificate, 39$ for delivery and when you reject them it just keeps giving discounts over and over. It even goes as far to ask you to pay for things that were already paid for and it also asks for a tip, a tip. The person who owns this company should rot in a prison cell.

Negative experience: SCAM SCAM SCAM!!! They charge more fee's than bank of America and the DMV combined. So awful, The $5.95 ended up somehow being $83 when I got my card statement. Incredibly dishonest business practice.

Negative experience: This place is a scam. They are not the lowest price traffic school, in fact they are the MOST expensive. There is plenty of misleading information saying you will pay $6 dollars for the class and then there are about $30 in fees, but not only that, then when you past the exam they want you to pay other $30 for you to get the certificate instead of them sending it to the court clerk. I called them since I read on their advertisement that the price includes sending the certificate via email. They send it to the DMV instead of the court house. I called the court clerk and they said the schools know they are supposed to send it to the court clerk and it is unusual that a school will send it to the DMV instead. Do not fall for this scam.

Negative experience: I made the alcohol and drugs course online, I paid way much more that it says at the beginning, first everything starts with 7.79 and i end up paying 67.79!!! I Made that course on July 17th and on July 24th they charged me 9.95 extra!!!! And I don’t know why!! And even worst now on August 22th more than a month later they are charging me AGAIN 9.95!!!! DON’T USE THEIR SERVICES!!

Negative experience: This site is literally a scam with multiple false claims. They are definitely not the lowest price. They lie about USPS not being able to ship a simple piece of paper within 30 day and try to charge you $30 just to get it by email!!! If that’s not a scam I don’t know what is…. They will try to force the most ridiculous charges on you and do it multiple times, making the ‘no thanks’ button as hidden as possible..And what did I learn from this “scammer school”, things that don’t matter, like know if it was 18% or 22% of kids in n crashing dying from a year that’s almost a decade in the past… The company is full of nothing but lowlife scammers who can’t get real jobs, the kind of people I wouldn’t even let wash the windows of my Tesla. Knowing karma will catch up to everyone running that ridiculous scam company makes me extremely excited.

Negative experience: If I could rate them no stars I would. This place is a scam. They claim you only pay about $6 for the course and like others say I understand state fees but they tried to charge me double totaling up to about $80. Which I then had to call, wait on the phone for 45+ minutes just for them to tell me it’s extra fees but they will waive them. Mind you none of these fees were stated in my registration process. Then when I selected NO to all of their other upcharge offers, they have still been charging me an additional $10 a month. Why? I have no idea. So now I have to take out more time to call them again to handle this issue. I HIGHLY recommend you use another service.

Fantastic experience: This site is very easy to navigate for helping your child get their permit. They do charge for extra services, convenient and fast delivery in comparison to a standard mail-in, and the practice exam. However, you don't have to pay for a lot of that stuff if you don't want it, and if you pay attention and read instead of going click happy you would know that. So a lot of these one star reviews are unwarranted, these are people who simply didn't take any time to read before clicking stuff. It feels very similar to buying a plane ticket on a travel site. Pay a little attention and you'll be ok.

Negative experience: Definitely not the lowest price . I know other tests cost about the same and most test are 4 hours but I think it’s ridiculous I can answer the questions in 30 seconds but still have to wait between 30- 55 minutes to move on to the next section , I can realistically get this done in 10 minute but no gotta wait hours for some reason , would give -25 stars if possible .

Negative experience: They charge more than advertised, won't finish processing to mail it to you, instead they keep popping up for you to pay more to have it emailed.I payed to have it read to my child but they don't read questions and read the information to fast. In the end your child could still have to take the test in person.

Negative experience: Use Best Price Traffic School or any other company instead of this company! I'd give them ZERO stars if possible. This company ought to be shut down. Just as the other reviewers said, they claim one price but end up charging you outrageous extra fees that cost even more than the course/exam themselves! Now I understand there are state fees and what not, but the prices they charge are total ripoffs for those fees! I checked with a different company and with the state fees it STILL came out to be about HALF the price of what this company was charging AND it included the delivery of the certificate! This place charges you an EXTRA $30 for it to be emailed to you! Don't use these people unless you just want to give them your hard-earned money!

Negative experience: I can’t get ahold of a single representative to give me a full refund. I never went through with the course and did not want to make the purchase in the first place! I was told I was going to pay $6 when putting my info in then my card was charged $40!!! This is a scam and I refuse to use it and now I put $40 that I need to actually take a real driving course. They customer service line is fake and can’t get ahold of a real representative. This is all a total inconvenience
