Golden Crown Driving School offers 5 Hour DMV Approved Courses for Pre Licensing (MV-278). You can also take in car private driving lessons or a defensive driver’s course. Golden Crown is here to keep your skills sharp and your driving skills at their best.

The Golden Crown Driving School has been in business for over 40 years. During this time we have helped many people learn to drive the right way. We provide professional, private driving lessons for people who are just learning to drive, for people who have experience and want advanced driving techniques, and for people with disabilities who have special needs.

Our highly trained staff is available 6 days a week to accommodate the need of our students. We also offer the 5 Hour Pre-Licensing Course as well as the Defensive Driving Course in 4 locations. White Plains, Mt. Kisco, Yorktown and Carmel, NY. The Golden Crown Driving School has been licensed and listed by the New York State Motor Vehicle Bureau since 1978.

All our vehicles are new and are equipped with dual-controlled brakes. Our priority is to train our students to become safe drivers and instill confidence so that when it comes time for the road test our student’s can successfully pass. In vehicle assessment for re-evaluation of driving skills and people with disabilities.

Golden Crown Driving School was our go to for driving lessons for our daughter. Craig was amazing in every way. Our daughter always was happy after her lessons and spoke about all of the positive lessons he taught her. With his patience and guidance she was able to pass her driving exam yesterday in Yorktown! She began driving solo this morning and we are confident that she will be prepared as she continues driving on her own. We can’t recommend GC and Craig enough. Thank you!

Experiencia negativa: I needed to schedule driving lessons for an adult dependent (au pair). We are having issues with her paperwork for the driving permit with the DMV although she passed the test, so I called to ask if we could push the lessons. The receptionist was quite rude and catty on the phone. She also said that they're not supposed to even schedule appointments without having the relevant driving permit info - so this was definitely in part their own responsibility. I scheduled Friday and then called first thing Monday morning when I found out about the paperwork issue. They want me to eat the cost instead of just moving the driving lesson. Honestly such terrible customer service I feel sick that I already paid them and truly uncomfortable that I will have to continue to interact with them for the rest of the already paid for lessons.

Experiencia fantástica: Good experience with this driving school. I had Kareem as my driving instructor and he was great. He is very patient, kind and will prepare you well for your driving exam.

Experiencia fantástica: My instructoe was Paul Stokes and he was amazing he showed me things that i didnt even know and i did feel improvement right after i took the lesson. He was very helpfull and patient.

Experiencia fantástica: I highly recommend Golden Crown Driving School! When my son started his classes with instructor Paul Stokes everything improved! Paul is an incredible teacher and motivator. He was patient, encouraging, honest, and dedicated. We also booked his road test through the school and Paul met with him an hour before the test to go over everything - he actually took his road test in Paul's car and passed! Thank you Paul Stokes and Golden Crown Driving School!
