CDL Bronx Road test location

Experiencia fantástica: Yesterday 05/29/2025 I had my CDL-B tests. I was so nervous that I made several mistakes, but examiner 709 was very patient and understandable. God bless the examiner.

Experiencia negativa: I had an appointment 8/8/23 for 4pm to remove my E restriction from CDL A. I was the last driver of the day. I believe the instructor's ID number is 937. He was clearly in a rush to go clock out. He did not take me through the standard route that is used for the test. Instead, he had me go around the block, basically making a square to get back to the site quickly. He instructed me to take two VERY unsafe, tight turns. Turns that are impossible to complete without getting stuck for any level of experience of a CDL driver. Turns that I would have never attempted if I was driving solo and saw those turns were ahead of me; I would have found a way to go around. He failed me of course. I know the turns are impossible to completely because I brought an experienced driver with me afterwards to show them where I failed. And they explained to me, no matter how wide I would have turned, I would have gotten stuck. I went back to that same location two days later 8/10 at 130 and instructor ID 535, took me through a standard route. I had no issues with my turns and I passed easily. He is the reason why this review gets any stars at all. He did his job professionally. My advice do not be the last appointment. Or just hope you don't get instructor 937. He obviously does not understand how to drive a tractor trailer. Nor he have he patience to instruct one. I will be making a formal complaint to the DMV about this instructor.
