At Changing Lanes Driving School, we ensure Teenagers and Adults learn to drive confidently and safely. Being a new driver comes with great responsibility. Practical driving experiences behind the wheel, will allow you to gain the knowledge and know-how to deal with everyday driving situations – giving you the foundation to become a safe driver, learn safe driving standards and keeping you up to date with the latest traffic laws.Our curriculum focuses on defensive driving practices, with constant emphasis on the dangers of driving with distractions (ie; cell-phones, text messaging) and under the influence of alcohol or drugs.Let Changing Lanes Driving School help you develop the confidence to get behind the wheel and be the next great driver on the road.

Our curriculum focuses on defensive driving practices, with constant emphasis on the dangers of driving with distractions (ie; cell-phones, text messaging) and under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

To take your driving test you must: Be 16 years old Have held your California instruction permit for minimum of six months. Have completed driver education. Have completed 6 hours of professional drivers training. Have completed 50 hours of practice with an adult 25 of age years or older. (The adult must have a valid California driver license and certify the 50 hours of practice. At least 10 of the 50 hours must be done at night).

Be at least 16 years old Completed Drivers Education and Behind the Wheel Instruction Be 18 years or older Restrictions Apply

We will pick you up on your, Testing Day at an additional charge! Registration and payments can be made online or in person. Your place in the class is not guaranteed unless payment has been received.

Experiencia fantástica: Great driving instructor!! Her prices are very reasonable for a driving school and the instructor I had was so friendly and very straightforward on what I needed to fix to pass my test. I did an hour practice and used the school’s car to take my test and passed!! I had been struggling with my turns and a few other things that made it difficult for me to pass my test the first time but within 40 minutes, the instructor had me learn all of the things I needed to do well immediately! If I had her for my instructor the first time instead of another driving school (that was much more expensive) I would’ve passed immediately!

Experiencia fantástica: Had a wonderful experience Joanne was was super helpful and guide me on driving skills and cautioned me on matters for Test! hundred percent recommend! Thanks to her I was able to pass my drivers test!

Experiencia fantástica: I had such an amazing experience. My driving instructor, Ms. Joanne, took the time to go over such specific details so that I can pass my driving test on the first try. She gave me great tips, and with each lesson I could see a drastic improvements in my driving technique! It's obvious she cares about me and wants me to succeed!

Experiencia fantástica: My instructor was nice and very informative. We even practiced some of the route DMV takes you on for the actual test. I highly recommend Ms. Joanne.

Experiencia fantástica: I am so pleased with this driving school!! They really work with you there. So I signed up my 16yr old son to take lessons as well as drivers education and it was such a hassle free experience from start to finish. My son now has his license and I am such a proud mother!! I strongly recommend this school.

Experiencia fantástica: This is such a great driving school I really recommend Changing Lanes. My instructor was very kind and helpful and gave constructive criticism. Joanna gave me tips to better my driving. With their teaching and patience I got the hang of it and passed on my first try. They definitely put my anxiety to rest. Give them try and get signed up for some classes soon!
