We offer driver education classes and behind-the-wheel driving sessions for students in the Wilmington area.

That's why the state of North Carolina requires Driver Education for everyone under the age of 18, and why there's no better place to take this course than SDTC.

During our Driver Education course, we'll teach you everything you need to become a safe and responsible driver, from how to parallel park to how to change a tire. We also believe that students learn best when they're having fun, so we strive to create a positive and supportive environment for all our students.

Classes consist of 30 hours of in-person classroom instruction at our office in Wilmington, NC. We believe in-person driver education provides better training.

We offer private driving lessons for adults (18+) who need practice. You will need to have a valid Learner's Permit or a valid License to schedule behind-the-wheel instruction. If you need further assistance, then click here to get started.

In partnership with the North Carolina DMV, Southeastern Driver Training Center now conducts official road tests for students aged 16 years and have not reached 17 years old and have held their Level I permit for 9 months.
