We understand it can be frustrating to be unable to complete your road test as scheduled. However, as an authorized provider of the road test, we are required to follow the rules set by the Department of Public Safety (DPS). These rules ensure that all individuals demonstrate completion of the necessary requirements for teen or adult driver education before testing.
To help our clients prepare, we email a list of required documents to all enrollees upon registration. At your appointment, some of the provided documentation did not meet DPS requirements. Our examiner reviewed this with you, provided copies of the correct document checklists—both for teen and adult education—and offered the option for you to return later that afternoon. This was suggested in part because one of the required steps typically takes two hours to complete.
When you returned, the documents were still incomplete. Unfortunately, had the test been conducted, the results would have been rejected by the DPS, requiring you to retake your road test.
