Awesome service for the more 23 years ..Very patient driving intructor Mr.Timmoty ,he trained for 6 hours .i learned a lot of defensive driving .thump up all stuff at A&P Driving school. Experiencia negativa: This was such a horrible experience. I scheduled for 2 days and a driving test 2 weeks in advance I was told they would schedule the test for my daughter for that week. We get there when scheduled 7am and the lady was still at home we had to wait a hour then they never scheduled her driving appointment and she almost couldn’t take and told us they wasn’t going to Compton because they take long. Finally because I let them know it was their error the scheduled in Compton and 3 hours before my already nervous teen goes to test she calls and says she sick. I ended up calling off work to take my daughter so she wouldn’t miss her test and then when I asked for my money back the lady kept hanging up in my face. I feel like she was racist and felt she could talk rude to me like I was beneath her when I was paying her. I would never recommend this place. I always give good reviews but this one is my first 1 star.

Experiencia negativa: I booked a 2-hour brush-up lesson with a driving test accompaniment for $300. The instructor who showed up was a Mexican woman who couldn't speak English and arrived 15 minutes late. In the middle of the lesson, she said she needed to eat and drink and requested a 10-minute break. Even though my test was at 3:00 PM, she rushed me at 2:20 PM saying there wouldn’t be any parking, so in total, I only got about one hour of actual instruction. All she did was drive around on the road without giving any useful feedback. Whenever there was something urgent, she would speak Spanish, which I couldn't understand. If you don't want to waste your time and money, I would not recommend this place. Manuel was the one who answered my call when I booked, and he can speak English, but don’t be fooled—he is not the one who will actually teach you.

Experiencia fantástica: My 16 year old daughter took her driving classes with A & P to prepare for her driving test today and she passed! She felt very confident thanks to Petra, her instructor, who made her feel at ease and was truly great at teaching. The financial part was simple, and their communication was excellent. I highly recommend them for your teens who are getting ready to drive!

Experiencia negativa: Pague un servicio de $140.00 por renta de carro para examen de manejo. Hice la cita 15 días antes. Ese día la instructora(owner) asignó otro instructor sin previo aviso, me envió en un carro particular. Sin embargo el instructor muy profesional.

Experiencia fantástica: I am a late bloomer when it comes to driving (lived in a city my adult life) so I did the VIP Driving Lesson package. I just passed my test with zero errors. My instructor, Troi De Silva, was amazing. He is incredibly patient and met me where I was at every lesson. Highly recommend.

Experiencia negativa: I would definitely not recommend this place for driving school services. Yes, every business has its flaws, and I expect some challenges with the COVID-19 Pandemic, but that is still no excuse for the unprofessionalism I encountered with several staff at A & P Driving School. They showed up late to a DMV road test appointment and couldn't take the test because they did not ensure the simplest things were checked (the tail light was burnt out). I rarely write poor reviews because of the potential impact it has on a business. The reason for the two-star rating is because they took responsibility for their mistake and refunded the road test fee (only after a lot of back and forth). But in all sincerity, I would suggest to future inquirers to consider a different driving school. Even if you decide to go to this school, I hope you have a better experience than I did!

Experiencia fantástica: My son just took the class and these people were very wonderful to him! They took their time and they could tell he was nervous so they were great with the encouragement. They take the kids through the routes that the DMV will take them through to get the child familiar. Also don’t worry they won’t candy coat things for you. If your child needs another lesson before they’re ready to take their drivers test they will tell you. I appreciate that because we don’t want our kids to get hurt on the road. I recommend using this company they’re terrific.
