This year marks a very special milestone for our organization as we celebrate Nichole Devita, Treatment & Referral Coordinator and Fran Jones, SSS Administrator on their incredible 19-year journey with the Safety Council!

Since 1942, the Northeast Florida Safety Council has been a cornerstone of safety advocacy in the Jacksonville area. Established by visionary local businessmen, our organization has tirelessly worked to instill a culture of safety that spans workplaces, roads, and homes. Our mission remains clear: to protect lives by promoting best practices in safety and health, ensuring that our community thrives in a secure environment. Join us as we continue our journey to make Northeast Florida a safer place for all.

Providing Hope and Help. We jump in and are here to provide hope and help in your time of crisis. We will discuss your particular situation and tailor a roadmap to the needs of your student and your family to help guide them out into a preferred future.

Your safety on the road is our primary concern. We offer a series of state-mandated and optional programs designed to help you become a better driver and avoid unsafe situations. Our interactive courses are aimed at improving driving skills and reducing traffic incidents.

Prevention is about equipping students. We will walk with students and provide tools for understanding what’s going on inside of them and how to navigate what’s going on outside of them. We teach students to recognize risks, choose wisely, and live purposefully through a variety of programs.
