Experiencia fantástica: My experience with driving instructor Nancy was excellent. She was very thorough with the theory and practical aspects of driving any student should know about. Her instruction style is gentle and polite. She put me through the driving practice professionally. At each step correcting the mistakes and informing the consequences of each error. Her emphasis, more than passing the test was making me a responsible, law abiding and hence a safe driver. She took care of the car’s maintenance and cleanliness. She was always cheerful. After I passed the test she was more happy than me. Woman of great character I highly recommend her as a driving instructor. I will be indebted to her for teaching me DMVs rules and practices. I could master the legendary left turn of dmv because of her help -Jayant Naiknavare.

Experiencia negativa: DO NOT BOTHER CALLING THESE PEOPLE. very unprofessional they do not answer their phone tried to get an appointment for ever and when they finally gave me an appointment they DID NOT SHOW UP. They didn't even give me a call to tell me they weren't coming. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH STAR DRIVING SCHOOL They do not take anything serious. GO WITH PROFESSIONALS THAT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS AT ALL.

Experiencia fantástica: Have started driving with Nerses with almost zero experience: Didn't have much time though and we had to do that within a week. Believe me, I was miles away from driving, but he thought me so quickly and professionally, I hardly believe I did it. Passed the test today and guess what, made only 3 minor mistakes. Great instructor and perfect strategy to succeed. Highly recommended!!!

Experiencia fantástica: So late on this but these things weren’t around back then… The only reason I knew of this was because, Ares (one of the owners?) his two daughters attended high school with me and I was already 16 and wanted my license. I set it up with his daughter, (which her name is also Star) he showed up at my house the next morning at 6:30 I remember it like yesterday. We went driving all around in his car and my first time ever driving on the freeway was with him. He said we’re going to Van Nuys I’m like ok what street should I take? He said are you nuts lol we’re taking the freeway quick, hop on! And then took a call, grabbed my wheel and was peddling from his side LOL like a true pro needless to say 2 weeks later I passed with 100%!!! At Arleta DMV. He took me there and waited for me, everyone at that DMV knows him! Such a great experience for me. Here I am, 14 years later and still have my original DL issued to me great job.

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing service, extremely skillful driving instructors, highly reliable and helpful staff. Highly recommend.

Experiencia negativa: I had two different instructors from this school and both of them were awful!! Nune/Nancy was by far the worst, she belittled me, disrespected me, took every opportunity she could to make me feel like a failure, and she straight up bullied me beyond belief. The way she treated me was extremely unprofessional and very demotivating, one would think that she was giving me those so-called lessons for free!! I have cried countless times, not only because of the extreme bullying I went through during every so-called lesson, but also because I thought that I’d never be able to drive because of how often I was belittled by her and made to believe that I was failure. Her horrible manners aside, she was also a terrible instructor. She never actually taught me how to drive, the only way that I learned how to drive was by driving a lot and getting the hang of it, which was often proved difficult with her constant insulting commentary. If I made a mistake I was yelled at and reminded of that mistake for many lessons and hours to come, instead of just calmly explaining my mistake and how I could avoid making the same mistake in the future I was, yet again, belittled. And I understand that making a mistake while driving is no small matter, however as a beginner it is more helpful to have someone calmly explain your mistake to you, correct it, and explain how to avoid it in the near future. Additionally, because you’re already under an immense amount of pressure trying to learn how to correctly operate a vehicle, yelling and bullying doesn’t help, it only makes matters worse. All that said, I did end up getting my license on my first try, not because Nune/Nancy was a great instructor, because as I’ve already stated she most definitely was not, but because I kept driving and I got the hang of it through experience and if she was a good instructor I would have learned how to drive twice as fast and not wasted so much money on her. All in all, I don’t recommend this specific school if you’re looking for a nice, calm, kind, and good instructor because from my experience, you won’t get that here. I’d also like to mention that a friend of mine had a different instructor than the two that I had here and she said that when she made a mistake, her instructor would harshly slap her thigh and she would go home with red stinging legs, which is literal abuse.

Experiencia fantástica: Nancy and her husband are two wonderful people. I have been to two driving schools before her. The first one I quit on first day cause I only learnt how to move the staring wheel to the left and right and twist my hand . The second one I learned a little but I knew I wasn’ prepared for driving on the road just yet. I had had enough already and decided to call this driving school and I must say it has been awesome. Nancy is very detailed oriented when teaching and I promise you if you go through her and her husband, you are not only learning to drive but you are also learning the things that would prepare you to be a safe driver for life. I became more confident with my driving. I went from being uncertain on driving to being confident while driving safe and I am eternally grateful for the time spent learning out to drive with this school.

Experiencia fantástica: This is a really late review but my experience was really good. My instructor, Ares, was really hands on and payed much attention to what I was doing wrong and what I did right. Could not have gone this far without them!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Nerses, the owner is nice and really cares about his students passing. I recommend this driving school to everyone I know because they are the best. I experienced no problems during my experience!

Experiencia negativa: There's no traffic school , so why you guys don't update !!!

Experiencia negativa: Not a place to go instructor wasn't even paying attention to his student, the student almost side swiped our vehicle, I called there office and a lady tried to justify that students are allowed to brake laws, when the teacher should have not let that happen, the teacher should be aware of the students surroundings at all times and accidents like that shouldn't happen specially at 15mph or less
