AAA Driving School

Experiencia negativa: Signed up with AAA since they're a big name so I felt like they have better service - big mistake. First off, they don't do pick-up and drop-off. You'll need to drive your student to one of their offices and pick them up after. My wife doesn't drive, that's why I signed her up for lessons in the first place. I work during regular hours so I'd need to take time off work just to drive her to and from their office. Second, they have such few open spots on their schedules that your lessons would be spaced weeks apart. Good luck on your student retaining whatever they learn on their lessons. Third, you can only schedule 1-hour at a time (and only 2 separate lessons at a time, which can't even be right after each lesson). I signed my wife up for the 10-hour lesson, it'll take her so many months just to finish up. So after about a week or two trying to navigate their schedule, I just decided to cancel and get a refund. Imagine my surprise that you'd need to cancel within 3 days in order to get the full amount, even if you didn't get to use any of the driving hours. A $75 "fee" was taken off, guess it's just gonna be a paid lesson for myself not to use their driving services in the future and make sure to tell family and friends about it. Stay far away.

Experiencia positiva: Learning how to drive was a really stressful experience for me, and Courtney was an excellent instructor who reduced my anxiety and made the lessons relatively enjoyable. He’s just very relaxing and clear and provides constructive criticism. This place isn’t cheap and I highly recommend spacing out the lessons because you definitely need to practice in between. This definitely helped me pass the behind the wheel test, but I also needed to practice for weeks before I could actually drive. I would take this if driving with a relative wasn’t enough (for me it wasn’t lol)
