He was very professional and understanding with scheduling issues since I'm a busy college student. I'm a student in New Paltz (a bit of a distance from Poughkeepsie) and Bob still managed to quote (and stay true to that quote) me a great deal for a lesson package. I had basically no driving experience before and Bob was very patient with the fact that I was so new to driving practice. He's an honest, clear, concise, and informative instructor that I would happily pay for lessons from again. He teaches you what to expect and encourages you even when you're super nervous. I learned so much in just an hour lesson and I am very appreciative of that. Best driving "crash course" and practice on important driving techniques. I will definitely be coming back. Experiencia fantástica: This is a great school for those who have a huge case of driving anxiety, or for those whose anxiety gets worse just by having "get your license" on the to-do list of life. Bob's calm and collected personality lessens the tension you feel behind the wheel, and is really comforting when it comes to you making mistakes. To get 5 1-hour lessons at $280 is an amazing deal, but having a rational and cheery instructor in the same package makes this experience priceless. I'm definitely recommending Bob to all friends and family members who have yet to still achieve this freeing responsibility. Thank you, Bob!

I am a 37 year old who had to re-take the road test after 10 years without a car, and I was very nervous to get back on the road. I failed the test a few weeks ago because I was super rusty and didn't understand the specifics of what it would entail. Bob helped prepare me in just two lessons so that I knew exactly what to expect and had all the particular skills well-practiced before the exam. If you're an anxious test-taker, Bob is definitely the right person to help you out.

Experiencia fantástica: I am so happy that we chose Take The Wheel driving School! I met Bob at a point in my life where I thought that I would never be a good driver, let alone get my license. I had been so afraid of driving for the longest time, but driving with Bob showed me that driving doesn’t have to be so scary. Bob was very flexible with my schedule and extremely kind. He was very patient with me and made me feel a lot less stressed out behind the wheel. Bob told me all of the ins and outs of the driving test, such as the things that the examiners might say to confuse a person who hadn’t had experience in that type of situation. When it came time for me to take my road test, I passed! I truly don’t think I could’ve passed my road test on my first try without Bob’s help and encouragement. Driving with my parents was stressful and chaotic, so having a driving instructor to support me and be patient with me while I was learning was so helpful. Experiencia fantástica: Had a great experience with Bob when I needed some help getting to my driving test. Bob was quick to respond and very accommodating to my schedule. He even gave me a super quick but effective lesson right before my test. I've been driving for years back in my home country, so I didn't think I needed lessons, but Bob took me through some things I should practice beforehand and I'm pretty sure he's the reason I passed the test. Would definitely recommend!
